I have tested C636B521/B563, C432B560, AL10C00B577 & TL00C17B575 (in stock firmware). Rest of the region I think should be working.

From the reality of your experience Of this All Rom C636B521/B563, C432B560, AL10C00B577 & TL00C17B575 Which Is Best ?????? And Which Rom Used Now In Phone Use

Interesting.... I gonna perhaps test your method. Because mine works but not for all (like me unfortunalely contrary to what I thought).

Currently I'm using C636B563 that's my original region but I personally prefer AL10 because of battery performance slightly better

Yes followed the steps one by one...
Edit: One thing worth mentioning is that I used the update_data.zip from the russian link, when I orignally installed Nougat this was the only file that worked for me.
Edit2: Redid the steps but used the update_data-zip posted by Sillanwali in his thread to update to nougat C432B560 but I get "Error: 7....."

After the step 4, I preconize to reboot the recovery. It's advised after a "Format data".

Make sure you are running unmodified stock firmware. As method above only patch boot img and push superuser files. Do not install decrypted boot img. It need untouched stock boot .
Once you completed the steps and reboot to system. It will normally bootloop twice then you will stuck at huawei logo about 3-5mins.

It's optional step but normally most of my experiments I don't even need to "reboot to recovery" but I will add it as optional step in OP.

It's just not working for me. I was on stock firmware, only unlocked bootloader, I did not install decrypted boot.img.
I left the phone for roughly about 15 min (one Fifa game) in screen, it doesn't get past Huawei logo and I haven't seen it reboot.
Edit: What about the update_full_hw.zip is that not needed after formating data?
Edit2: Tried again but these time rebooting into recovery after formating data as suggested by @franzyroy but it didn't make a difference still bootloop

How to restore IMEI number on a official rom?

okay now I am starting to get lost and the guide for ''fixing your IMEI number'' caused my phone to soft-brick once again so it didn't really help
and yes I used the most recent SuperSU (stable) version V2.78 (I hope that is a correct version)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/steps-how-to-recover-bad-imei-t3171452
my baseband gives a I think correct version but my IMEI number still is ''0''
Please!, can anyone tell me how to restore my IMEI number?
Also my phone uses tries to use LTE connection like I have U.S. drivers (I don't know if it makes a difference since I am pretty much noob)
I find that just wierd.. sorry to bother you guys with all this, I just want my phone to be fixed

EXACTLY!!! follow these instructions step by step. Take a look how many sparsechunk files are in the image that you download and proceed as advised. Take care to choose the right image for your device, also about country and so.

As far as I remember that happened to me when I tried to relock the bootloader at that moment. Did it work anyway? I mean, did it reboot? Which image did you choose? 5.1 or 6.x? Probably start with 5.1 as this was the original image for the device and later let it update via OTA. Be sure still to grab the appropriate image.

According to the Motorola official developer forums I am not ALLOWED to install a android 5.X image when I last ran a 6.X android system. as the result could be that I could Hard brick my device
also some further info:
I think in the past when I tried to install the official stock rom. I accidentally removed/erased the EFS file. or some file that holds my IMEI information.
and now I practically have to re-write it (since.. well you can't just create a IMEI ID or Can I?). but it seems impossible if I look at it.
but I do have the original box with the original IMEI number.

Idk about su2.78... I have always used su2.62-3 ..it worked on lollipop and it works on MM.
What is the need of updating SU app, all it does is give 'root' permissions.

okay, because you have more experience rooting I am gonna ask you just to be sure.
correct me if i'm wrong:
first I have to flash twrp thingy
next I have to reboot android and copy SuperSU into my storage
then I have to reboot in fastboot and boot into twrp
in twrp I have to flash/install SuperSU into the system.
and.. that's it. so superSU practically roots my device?
oh and from what i've heard/seen I will not be able to update anymore? because when I installed/flash superSU I saw in the log:
''disabling OTA update survival'' or something like that

How To install CyanogenMod on the 5c

Since I had some troubles installing CyanogenMod on my 5c, I decided to write a Guide how to do it the easiest way and avoiding problems. Credits for the Development go to Meticulus, who developed the ROM!
you find the GUIDE on my Homepage
hopefully this saves you some Time when installing CM!
cheers,
Johannes
Hello,
I'm struggling with twrp (cannot boot it), thank you for your guide! I will use the recovery install part and possibly install the ROM as well! Is this pure Cyanogenmod, with no EMUI or stock Huawei apps? Also, are there any concerns as to what works and does not work?
UPDATE: The recovery linked in your guide does work for my NEM-L21. I extracted the ZIP file, and flashed the recovery.img inside as instructed. Proceeding with full dump + TWRP backup, and installing Cyanogenmod on my stock 5c, running EMUI 4.1, with unlocked bootloader and android 6.0.
Kind Regards
TwinAdk
Nice guide
The ROM works really well :good: No unusual behaviour so far, and the camera is fine!
Upon first boot, it requires a password to unlock the data partition, but this is due to the encryption on the partition being enabled from the stock rom. This is solved by rebooting into TWRP, and wiping data (the guide tells you to do this as well, no worries) :good:
I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE CYANOGENMOD ON MY 5C!! YES!! :highfive:

Hi, when prompted with the password, reboot into recovery, and format data partition (and only that partition!). Then reboot again. It destroys the encryption of the data partition, but that must happen as cyanogenmod cannot decrypt it as of yet

[Guide][FRD-L04] Install B385 from a rooted/TWRP B360

First thing: before using this How-to guide. *I am not responsible for any data lost, bricked phones,or anything related to your Honor 8*
I am writing this from my own experience updating. Your mileage may vary.
Notes: I've heard reports that flashing stock recovery and stock boot.img from fastboot(instead of twrp) help to have a higher chance of getting past erecovery. Let me know if it helps.
To follow this guide you should be rooted,TWRP installed and using the B360 version while having the OTA available for B385 for FRD-L04.
Ok, lets get started.
Code:
Step 1:
Make backups. I made backups with HiSuite and within TWRP. Just in case.
Code:
Step 2:
Reboot into Recovery. I used TWRP v3.1.0-3 for steps outlined.
[URL="https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0uzUjmZ9bI6eVBlWm1ZSE56Yzg"]Download for TWRP IMG[/URL]
Code:
Step 3:
You will need to [I]Unroot[/I]. Whatever method you want to use, do it,
but, I used the UnSU zip by Osmosis
[URL="https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0uzUjmZ9bI6SXlmenpVM3Z4b0E"]Link for .zip[/URL]
Flash this .zip. Do not Reboot.
Code:
Step 4:
We need to flash the stock boot.img and the stock recovery.img. (This likely needs to be done in
Fastboot versus recovery)
[URL="https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0zE1Kk8sIB6MDF6SmEyaXYzVTg"]Stock Recovery.img[/URL]
[URL="https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0zE1Kk8sIB6NlIzOWJkQ1Z1OHc"]Stock Boot.img[/URL]
Now, Move these somewhere on your
phone (internal storage/SDcard) and go to Install from TWRP. (Many people
report success doing this step in Fastboot)
Locate files, Probably have to switch to Images.
Flash boot.img to [I]Boot[/I] and recovery.img to [I]Recovery[/I]
Code:
Step 5:
Shutdown phone from TWRP. Make sure when you turn your phone
back on, don't have it connected to USB.
Code:
Step 6:
Power up phone
Code:
Step 7:
You should be able to boot like normal to your previous phone configuration,
except now you have stock boot and stock recovery
and should be able to receive/install OTA.
NOTE: If you have issues with booting and it will only boot to
eRecovery, try hitting[I][B]Shutdown[/B][/I] and performing
a cold boot. If that still doesn't workthen you will have to run
through the prompts and recovery B360.That's why we have
backups as step 1
Code:
Step 8:
Once phone is booted, go to Settings-> System Update ->
Perform the update to OTA B385 like normal
Code:
Step 9:
We just need to get into fastboot mode now and flash TWRP
like we have done on B360 and previous.
Connect phone with USB debugging enabled and open cmd prompt.
to make sure device is connected
Code:
[I]adb devices[/I]
open directory you need
Code:
[I]cd c:\whatever the path you saved the TWRP.img[/I]
Reboot phone to bootloader
Code:
[I]adb reboot bootloader[/I]
Flash TWRP
Code:
[I]fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.0-3-frd.img[/I]
Code:
[I]fastboot reboot[/I]
Code:
Step 10:
After phone reboots. We need to get into the TWRP recovery we just flashed.
Whatever method you want to use. I just shutdown and used
power up+power button.
Code:
Step 11:
we need to flash Magisk to get root.[URL="https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0uzUjmZ9bI6WFMwTUIwd21rX2s"]Magisk[/URL]
Place .zip on phone Sdcard or internal
in TWRP -> install -> locate Magisk flashable zip
[I]flash and reboot[/I]
I think that covers it. You should be updated to the latest B385 OTA and have Magisk root.
Sorry if this was long.
A ton of credit to @Telperion for helping and access to the correct files to get this completed
Thanks I followed your procedure and everything worked as described!
However in TWRP now if I try to remove certain system apps (e.g., Health) I get "Cannot remove system app. Failed to locate the app". Am I the only one with this issue?
Thanks, is it working with B380 too ?

I haven't tried to remove apps from twrp. I just freeze them with titanium backup. Or just uninsall within system if possible.

I told myself that I would not do any modding on my phone until a fully stable custom ROM comes up. But right now I felt the urge to do this because of Magisk and the new OTA. Thanks OP. I'll try it.

Try shutdown and cold booting. Otherwise, finish steps in erecovery and then just restore apps. Internal data should still be intact. Only system is wiped.

Got it sorted now and downloading B385.
I know u can't successfully install ota update while rooted/custom recovery, but will the update still arrive via ota if rooted, or will it not even show up till phone is unrooted? Reason I ask is because the vast majority seems to have already received this update, where as I have been waiting and waiting... Wondered if maybe it wasn't showing up yet because I wasn't unrooted and/or not running stock recovery/boot

Yes. 3 days ago I was still with B360 and SuperSU and my phone was notifying me of a B385 update. Until I came along to this guide. Now I'm in B385 and Magisk.

My phone won't boot past the boot screen after flashing the stock boot and recovery.
*Edit* I had to do a factory reset via the stock recovery and it booted up.
Same procedure for the FRD-L19?

This happened to me as well, but, thankfully the recovery only wipes the system. Doesn't wipe actual data partition.

Flash original unrooted B560 via TWRP and wait for OTA.
Hmm I got OTA for L29C432B581 today but I'm on unlocked bootloader, rooted and on TWRP so I haven't tried to accept the update. As I understand it, it won't work to update given that I don't have stock recovery.

You need stock boot.img and system or the OTA will fail. Just download B560 full and flash it in TWRP, that will unroot, restore stock system, restore stock boot.img, restore stock recovery. Then you can install OTA without any issues (you do not have to lock your bootloader).

B560 it's not just only the usual "update.zip" file, there's also the "update_full_hw_eu.zip" file.
If I reinstal B560 again just to get the B581 OTA, have I to reinstal both files or only "update.zip"??
Thx in advance!!

I suppose that also the "Dload" methot should be work in case my phone misses the OTA, right?
Did flashing both files work for you zappomax?
To answer my own question, i did a fresh install of 560 through twrp following this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/how-to-install-nxt-l29c432b560-official-t3540042 , but without installing rootfiles. After phone set up update to 581 was offered in system update. Tried to install (796 Mb update) but failed to pass verification.
After reboot in 'old' 560 connected phone to hisuite which offered me the full (2.2Gb) update to 581. This one installed without problems.
Rooted with Magisk afterwards.
My solution is to flash stock boot.img and update using hisuite..i was in 560 before..

Is it possible to just download the b180 update.zip and ...full_hw...zip, and flash? Instead of flashing the old b560 zips?
From 581 to 180 is a downgrade, so i guess you need to flash a downgrade package before you can flash 180 software.
boot loop after flashing boot.img, recovery.img, system.img, cust.img through fastboot. I also wipe data and cache after flashing

Bugs After recovering from bootloop

Hey Guys!! Yesterday i tried to root my Huawei P8 Lite 2017 (PRA LX2C636B160)
What i do
*Unlock the PHONE
*Flash the TWRP (i get on sir Haky86 posts)
*Backup my Firmware in TWRP (But theres an error 255 when backing up the data, so i deselect the data on backup)
*Flash SUPERSU for EMUI 5.0
*Then when i reboot. I cant See any google apps in my app drawer. The "Google Play and Play services was only there then when i tried to log in my gmail the play store force close"
I think the reason why my google apps deleted is because when i unlock my Bootloader it automatic Factory Reset.
* Then i tried to flash Open GAPPS in TWRP but still no Google Apps
*So i tried to do a Factory Reset.
*After factory Reset. my phone was not booting stuck on boot logo.
*I tried to Restore my Backup but still stuck on boot logo
So what i did to resolve this issue
*Download PRA-LX2C636B123 firmware.
-Extract Using huaweiupdate extractor
-Factory reset in TWRP
-Flash Cust,System,Boot. ,Recovery in Fastboot
-Factory reset
-Restore Backup (Except Data)
-Factory reset
- Finally Its booting but i noticed that the bootanimation was changed. it only shows android not huawei
BUT HERE IS THE ISSUE T_T
*I cant Access to my CAMERA and cant Play any Audio. Loudspeaker or Earphones.
im a musician and i love music T_T

This is what I did when I bricked mine right after messing with my phone, rooting it and flashing TWRP the first time.
I also found the firmware off of a chinese site (not sure if it had malware on it though) but it seemed to work fine. In the process, i got B120 from that site.
Anyways, got bored with B120 after a while, and saw B160, experimented with the system update but can't do the update from that app, then I did a Kamikaze move and tried flashing through TWRP one of the files downloaded by the system update app, and it worked! It's how I ended up with B160.
However, after I did the update (of course, I wiped /cache and /dalvik-cache), I had a few bugs myself. Phone stuttered, apps crashed, sometimes the phone freezes entirely. I went back to TWRP, did a few wipes of the dalvik-cache and cache again, but ended up with errors on the cache wipe/fix filesystem/format options. Rebooted to Huawei system, and rebooted to TWRP and repeated the process of cache wipes, and then it finally worked! I don't understand why TWRP gave me errors on the cache wipe, but after a few reboots to system and TWRP, it seemed to work. Now, I have a fully functioning system.

Sorry buddy, but I don't remember where I got it from. I just used Google search back then, searched for ROM PRA-LX2.
All I did was dowload the file, extracted the zip, and forced the files into the phone by adb.
