MultiRom port? - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Does anyone know if the devs involved with MultiRom have a posted development schedule for upcoming ports? I'm curious to know if we could expect to be seeing a version for the v20.

It works for the v20 look in the themes and apps section

Any AOSP ROM's in the works?

Maybe this question has been addressed somewhere on XDA, but I was wondering why there aren't any AOSP ROM's out yet for our Note 3. Just curious if they are in the works or what??

From what I understand AOSP ROMs require a new kernel, which we are unable to flash due to limitations from a locked bootlader.

Can assume CM will work on a version for unlocked (TMobile) version that a dev could use to port to Verizon. Last I heard there was issues with call audio but that was a while ago and nothing official.

No Vanilla AOSP????

Or am I just missing it? I can't find a vanilla ROM anywhere.
I am wanting to use xposed with no interference, but all the ROMs I've found have the same things

PA is pretty vanilla at this point and is stable, all builds are supported in the original development section hope this helps
Xposed really slows things down. Wouldnt recommend it

Any 4.4 ROMs with knock off built in that are stable? Really looking for nav bar cursers too.
I was spoiled coming from the Gnex ROM scene, and my wife's Nexus 5.
I haven't had xposed problems, but what slow down are you talking about? Open to listening.
There are plenty of roms, aospa,cm11, aosp variants...
If you ever have a chance, compare two same phones one with and one without xposed. You will see xposed adds almost a second slowdown when opening/loading apps

Really awesome if you can pull it off. I used bigxie's rom on my gnex, loved the simple and stock feel. Btw I'm on d802, hope it will be supported. Keep it up !!

Thanks I'll have to do a blind port if its a non D802 device...as mine is D802 But I'll do a D802 port as well to test everything :good:
Edit:
I'm also waiting in the dev from that ROM to reply to see if he will let me port it or not, I don't want conflict haha
Got the go ahead from the dev to use his N5 rom, so port attempt one now
Firstbuild didn't even flash xD gonna try another base rom :good:

This is for developers who want to create a custom kernel. Whether it's for LG UX, AOSP, CM, etc.
Anyone actually developing a kernel? Just curious.

That is the one thing I miss about my Samsungs (variety of roms, kernals, and mods), but they lost me with no removable storage... I'm sorry, but cloud storage just isn't the same as having an sdcard that I can take anywhere and have instant access to all my files.

Doubt it would help much but the G4, BB Priv, Nokia Lumia 950, and the Motorola moto x pure edition all have the same chipset ...

I miiiight try something with a kernel. I miss having a modifiable kernel.
Don't kill me if I don't get anything done though, I'm pretty busy already.

I believe I stated it before, but if you want ideas, the g4, and moto x pure have the same chip set... Just as examples, to use with source.
Common sense isn't all that common
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but, I'm running a rooted T-Mobile v10. I installed busybox, and Kernel Auditor, and I'm trying to set the 2 big CPUs max frequency to 1824 mhz, and it keeps resetting back to 1440, anybody know why this might be happening? And if I'm not mistaken, since many phones utilize the same CPU, wouldn't it be possible to simply port over another kernel from a similar device?

I got 57720 in antutu using the performance govener
---------- Post added at 03:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:54 AM ----------
One last thing I want to ask, in regards to performance vs battery. I noticed that two separate goveners can be used, one for the two big cores, and another for the two little cores. Wouldn't it be ideal to use a power saving governor on the more power hungry cores, and use a performance one on the slower cores, to maintain snappiness and conserve some power at the same time?

Multirom?

Is there an actual working build of multirom for the OnePlus 2? I know RegalStreak was working on one but he abandoned the project. Is there anyone else working on a functioning multirom port for this device? Thanks.
Any info?

Martin fixed it for op3 and published the source but no one took over... I guess no developer interested in this

That sucks. I'm checking for a friend, I have a Nexus 6 with multirom, and it's a MUST HAVE mod! Hopefully soon! But thanks so much for the reply! [emoji2]
There is a Multirom version not totally working:
- [MOD][FEB-28][TESTING] MultiROM v33 for OnePlus 2
Maybe devs could start from it..

When Invicta Release 8.0 Oreo ?
