Asus ZenPad S 8 (P01M or Z580C) Google lock - Asus Zenpad 8.0 Questions & Answers

Does anyone know how to bypass Google lock on this tablet? My kids created an account and then factory restored it, but have no idea what credentials they used. I am able to run chrome, then install Nova launcher apk and eventually get into settings, however, when I reset the tablet, it still restores with Google lock. This is legit tablet, I have the box and everything.

figured it out. let me know if you need help.

I could you this! Do you remember what you did to unlock it?

Okay, I feel like this should have been clearer and out there somewhere, but here is how I got passed it.
There are a couple ways to get to the Chrome browser, and that's what you want to do. What I did was type in the login field, select the text, and then select "ASSIST" in the pop-up window.
When the Google App appears, start typing "Chrome." Select the Chrome app when it appears.
In Chrome, search for "Test DPC Apk." Dowload. Open and install. You'll have to give permission to use unkown third-party apps in settings. Once installed, run. Select "Set up device owner." Keep going through all the options. Expect the tablet to restart a couple times. Then go to settings and do a factory reset.

Can't download from Amazon app store

Amazon doesn't seem to be able to help, so I'm hoping someone here can!
When I try to download an app, I get the authenticating message then nothing happens. It immediately goes back to the app store home page. If I try to go yo my apps from the app store menu, it goes to the my apps page long enough for me yo see that it says no apps available. Then it again goes immediately back to the app store home page.
Any ideas?
clear data in app mgmt for Venezia or appstore reboot try again
Nope. That didn't do it. Anyone else? It's like my app library isn't there even though I know I have Fire compatible apps in it.
I know I had to re-enter my Amazon credentials once I loaded ICS. I'm not positive, but I think the time it asked for them was when I launched the normal Kindle OS/Theme (I'm still a newb to the vocab when it comes to this stuff) and then went to the Apps, and then Store.
You probably could just unregister and reregister your Fire too, thus inputting your Amazon credentials that way too.

[Q] Can't re-enable disabled app

Ok so I was disabling a bunch of pre-installed apps from my S4 but mistakenly disabled 'Google Search'. Dumb move I know.
The first image is my current phone's firmware.
The problem I'm having is that when I go itno Settings>Application Manager>Disabled and click on Enable it asks me if I want to "Delete all Data and Disable App"
Clicking on cancel just returns me to the App Info screen where the Enable button taunts me with it's uselesness.
Clicking on OK asks me if I want to "Replace This App with the Factory Version"
I've tried disabling and re-enabling other apps to see if it's a phone problem, but those other apps have re-enabled just fine.
I'm stumped as to what to do. I don't want to delete all the data as I have 'Google Now' calibrated just perfectly to my current lifestyle, and I really don't want to do a 'Facotry Reset', setting everything back up again is a massive ball-ache I would certainly like to avoid.
Any suggestions would be a great help :fingers-crossed:
EDIT:
Ok so afer getting impatient I just decided to go ahead and click on "Replace App with Factory Version"
After deleting all the data the "Enable" button re-enabled the app as expected.
When I opened the app I got a message saying that an 'Updated Version is Available on The Play Store' so I went ahead and updated it and then replaced the Google Now widget on on my phone.
To my surprise, all of my 'Cards' and recent searches were still there, I guess as Google collects as much data on us as possible I should of expected they would of retained it, and on this case I'm glad they did.
So in short - Problem Solved.

Where to find Verizon bloatware?

Odd question, I know.
I'm on 4.2 and rooted without tripping knox. I deleted a couple apps. I always ran Nova Prime and was fine. I sold my phone, and thus did a factory restore. If I hit the home button while on the home screen I get: "Unfortunately, Touchwiz home has stopped"
What app should launch if I'm looking at the main home screen and hit the home button? In Nova Launcher it simply brought up a mini view off all the screens and you could pick which one you wanted. Is it My Magazine or something? If I swipe up from the bottom of the screen I believe it's tries to launch My Magazine, correct? I get an "application not installed" in a play store looking like window.
So, I need to reinstall some bloatware I assume. I need to get this fixed in the next 24 hours or I'll have to refund someone their money.
Put it in download mode and load the NC4 md5 will make it stock. Need to do it via Odin.

Well, I managed to fix it. It was MagazineHome.apk that I had deleted and caused both problems. I found one apk, and it didn't seem to work. I restarted the phone, I did a fresh restore on the phone, I checked it's permissions, etc. I then found another apk that was a slightly different size, and that one magically made everything work!

FRP Unlock on Asus Zenpad 8 S P01M Z580C

I sold a Asus Zenpad 8 S P01M Z580C to a guy on ebay. He complained about it and set it back. I have the box and everything.
The thing is, I can't log in because of FRP Google Lock. I've tried waiting 24 hrs and 72 hrs. No luck. It won't unlock. I keep getting the message: "Device Reset. Sign in with a Google Account that was Previously Synced." The guy has sent me links, but nothing substantial to help. I would like to unlock the FRP using the safest way possible. He even said he cleared his google accounts off the device.
I'm able to get to chrome, but that's pretty much where my success stops. Can anyone help me get into this device? I own it, and it's really frustrating that I'm being stymied on this.

Update: The tablet is running Android 6.0.1. I'm able to get to the Settings menu (selected text within the Chrome browser, and then went to "Assist", then searched for "Settings"), but I can't turn the tablet's developer options on or anything like that. Anyone have a clue? I guess I just want to know the best way to unlock this.
I have another update. I was able to find the Build info for this tablet, and get to developer status, but the developer status now only tells me that "those options are not available for this user" or something.

Can't seem to enter Samsung Account information when setting up Samsung Pay

This can be deleted, the issue is resolved.
My OnePlus 6T is rooted with Magisk and after installing the Samsung Play (Watch Plug-in) from the Galaxy Wearable app and hiding it in Magisk Hide I am able to go through setup for Samsung Pay until I get to the point where I need to enter my Samsung Account. I enter my email address, password and security code but I never get an OK or Continue button to proceed from there, just a Close button. What am I missing or doing wrong that I can't proceed from that point?
Never mind, I just had to scroll down. DUH!
Samsung's Pay app tends to be clumsy and not the very best, even when it comes to a fresh setup. I have the Gear S3 and it just tends to be so clunky when it comes setting it back up whenever I restore ROMs... use Titanium Backup if you want to avoid having to restore it multiple times
