Nor was it everyone that had issues...
I've found one issue with hardware decoding of some MPEG4 video streams. Perhaps this is the same issue you see on occasion? Otherwise all 720p+ 60fps tubes I've tried have been perfect on lineage rom you're referring to.

Agreed, my "baseline" video test is "4K Beauty of Nature" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wCC3aLXdOw ) evidences irregular playback on my tablet (SM-T700).
It's not just YouTube either, playing the locally stored edition (1440p / MP4 / h.264 / 30 fps / 8982 kbps video; 44.1k stereo / AAC / 125 kbps audio ) also regularly hiccups.
Last Paulicat build played both variants w/o issue.

You know what, I've been using it for an hour or two, and it is definitely worth upgrading to this.
Biggest bonus thing I've found in Nougat that I didn't really see use for in a phone...setting the "Display size" up a few notches in the settings.(without the dpi hacks from older android) and having much better control over ui size without dpi hacks.
I couldn't deal with the small dpi's...and some apps would screw up if you blew it up too much.
Nougat seems to be doing a great job handling this now.
Did a dirty flash of current version with the camera fixed over previous version. No stock camera app showed up so I installed "Open Camera". That works, so it looks like you need a clean flash to get the stock camera app to show up. Great job on this ROM...
im ready to flash this on my T800 when its out

I assume you mean stock LineageOS, as there are LineageOS roms with OMS for Substratum.

About LD
Years after the death of LiquidSmooth, Sean Hoyt (the LiquidSmooth lead dev) has returned to the ROM game with the Exynos5420 team to bring greatness to our beloved exynos5420 tablets and note 3 out of the ashes of the fallen LiquidSmooth ROM. LiquidDeathOS is super optimized for the exynos5420.
In fact right now it is so optimized that it won't even boot on non-exynos devices
LD is AOSP based and is only for Exynos devices
(it's even more optimized than cm)
Feature List:
OMS/substratum theme engine

Does anyone use magisk on this is it good for a ROM like this or should I stick with just supersu
Thanks for the ROM. Here's a few issues I've noticed
- button lights turn on after a reboot, toggle on/off again to turn off
- auto rotate has stopped working for me
- no sounds installed for ringtone/alarm/notification to select
- search bar that is installed by default does nothing
- YouTube videos skip/stutter
Substratum force closes after ticking a theme
Thanks for your work on this rom!
I also wanted to report a problem with YouTube videos.
It freezes or stutters and skips when playing 1080p videos.
It also seems to have problems playing 720p videos but it isn't as bad as 1080p.
Is it faster than aosp marshmallow?

I just treid Lineage this weekend but I have not tried LDOS yet. The Lineage ROM is quick and smooth i just found that the battery life watching movies isn't great on my T700. got about 4 hours watching VLC with H264 MPEG 4.
Next weekend all give this a try but I am curious what the experience is here with battery life and video playback.
Based upon the recommendation of my buddy @kaodd, I'm thinking of giving this a try. Anyone have advice about dirty flashing over from AOKP?

If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review

I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed (like it did for me...).
* Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it!
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
* Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.
* Same statement for XDA.

Working veeery good, without lags and bugs I am not satisfied with original MIUI for 5A.I love MIUI, but in my opinion it is not optimizationed for this device, touch response is slow and have another little things... Or I have some strange piece .) But this Lineage working without problems and response is perfect.

The ROM itself was made for an arm64 architecture, so the only gapps you can use are arm64 based gapps.
Is camera2api enabled by default or should i edit it on build.prop
With this Lineage is bettery life good for me. (One day with full using, two days, when i do not use so much.)

You can use any treble recovery. I'm using pitch black.
Wipe everything (dalvik, cashe, system, vendor...)except internal storage and micro SD (if you have one). Flash ROM, gaps and magisk if you want root. That should do it.
Nice work dev ?
thank you friend
