Working veeery good, without lags and bugs I am not satisfied with original MIUI for 5A.I love MIUI, but in my opinion it is not optimizationed for this device, touch response is slow and have another little things... Or I have some strange piece .) But this Lineage working without problems and response is perfect.

The ROM itself was made for an arm64 architecture, so the only gapps you can use are arm64 based gapps.
Is camera2api enabled by default or should i edit it on build.prop
With this Lineage is bettery life good for me. (One day with full using, two days, when i do not use so much.)

I have tested and confirmed working with cofface and official TWRP recovery
IR Blaster works?
Great job porting LOS to the Redmi 4X.
Aside from two issues, I've found the ROM to be incredibly stable. The two issues are:
- IR Blaster is unresponsive.
- Recents apps button is broken.
The latter can be fixed by flashing a fix found in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-teamoctos-redmi-4x-santoni-t3650594

Any suggestions? I know that recovery used to have battery calibration built in but it seems that modern TWRP got rid of that?

Clean flash the ROm with under 60% battery.
I had this problem too. Whenever I flash a rom with 90%+ battery I have problems like this.

Workaround: hold power + vol up + vol down to boot into recovery
Fastboot is still power + vol down

Just flashed the gapps and the play services keep crashing. The rest of the rom is working perfectly fine except the mentioned bug in the OP and hotspot isn't working either. Also how do I get the root to work? I flashed the addon su by los to enable root but that didn't work.

Yes Devs are working hard for it, once they get it fully stable. I will also contribute you guys with some custom ROMs. That will be official.

That pop is not a matter of importance and it should appear after very reboot just click on OK , once devs fix goodix sensor they will fix that too....
