Fire emblem heroes says device incompatible - Xiaomi Redmi 3s Questions & Answers

I have a Redmi 3s prime and I have it on android 6.0.1 beta release but when I go to download the game it says that my device is incompatible. I highly doubt that that my device can't run it, I'm thinking maybe regional or device block?

Try to download it from Aptoide.

I have an Asus zenfone 2 also with the stock beta release of Marshmallow. The game force closes on start. According to some users on reddit, downgrading to lollipop solved the problem so I think that might be a firmware issue. Maybe try a custom ROM or downgrade if you can't run the apk too?

Guess it doesn't like me then, I guess I'll backup everything and freshly flash my phone to factory and try again

well yea the game works after a full flash. odd. must be a rooting restriction

I'd love to hear from anyone who was previously on a CM13 ROM and then installed COS13. Do you notice any performance differences? Any notable user-facing features in COS13 that are not present in CM13? Basically is there any real reason for people like me to go back to stock and get this update?
I should mention that I am running the latest build of Sultanxda's CM13 ROM (0404).

Your phone needs to be 100% stock YOG7DAS2K1 if you want to sideload the OTA.
Ahhh screw it, I'm going to do it. I'll be back with my observations.

Flash an older version of 12.1 (not the latest 12.1.1), let it update to the latest 12.1.1, then manually update the ota to 13... Or edit the updater script to skip checks for release keys..

onyone can create zip for twrp?
Just finished setting up my phone after a complete clean flash (fastboot 12.1.1 + sideloading the update) and I gotta say that it feels really snappy so far. Noticed some new strange included apps, Instagram Content, Twitter Content and Discovery. I guess the Instagram and Twitter apps have something to do with the lock screen, but I've disabled them. I have no idea what Discovery does, so if anyone has a guess I'd love to hear it.
The most interesting thing will be battery life, but my verdict on that will have to wait until I've tested it for a couple of days.

Is there any way other then Odin to install firmware updates to a rooted device?

I have rooted Note4 sm-n910c (Exynos) running 6.0.1 stock rom and when I checked firmware updates I can't install them through OTA because root. My PC and phone have connections issue so I need to find a way to install updates. Is there a way for this?
You can try Flashfire by Chainfire. Download the latest firmware first from Samfirmware.
Make a nandroid backup first of your current rom in case something went wrong.

after root, install xposed framework and change the status of your phone to official and voila you can get official updates.
I'm pretty sure that Samsung have just dropped all support and future updates for the Note 4.

Once xposed is installed, download the wanam module and within you can find an option of changing the status to OFFICIAL. Via this phone thinks you are on official stock and downloads n installs the updates.

download all three.
I am not sure on which one is specific to your mobile, but there is a workaround
install the arm64(as i believe this one is for n910c) and let it boot up.
if it doesnot in around 15-20 mins, take out the battery and try "arm"

How to Root miui 8.3

Hi recently flashed miui 8.3 by xiaomi.eu
There's no root access available
Tried superuser.zip
Kingoroot
But still I can't find any way any suggestions?
Both Magisk and SuperSU worked for me. Make sure to clean flash in order to avoid these kind of weird problems.

Yes and no. The version you refer to is from Mar of 17 while the latest one on Sammobile is Dec of 16. But if you use Odin to install the Dec 16 ROM you will be back to stock and if there is a later version available from Samsung, it should install OTA.
edit: I found the Mar 17 version here.
You don't need to remove twrp. Just use the unroot option in SuperSU settings.
in the end i used smart switch on the pc i'm stock again. thks for all your help hugz

How to roll back to previous software version?

I just updated to 10.3.10 and the bugs in this version is unbearable. How can I roll back the software version?

No, I don't think so
Be careful
IIRC, There's anti-rollback protection on Redmi Note 7, which means if you go to the previous version, your device might be bricked.
