Will raw support available for zenfone 3 other than zoom? - Asus ZenFone 3 Questions & Answers

On asus web site it said that zenfone 3 zoom will have raw support on android naugat. Will raw support available for other series like 520kl??

RAW photo capture is already supported on all Zenfone 3-series models. You just need a third-party camera app to take advantage of it, as the ASUS Pixelmaster camera app does not have a RAW shooting mode.

Im sorry i meant the pixel master camera.
The thing is im using az camera and it only support up to 11MP.
And the shutter speed can go only up to 0.5 second not 36 second.

You can use Open Camera app. It's the best to shoot RAW pics with any smartphone. I'm using on Zenfone 3 and the result is stunning!

Nexus 6P RAW Support

Since the stock camera does not support the RAW capture yet (hopefully will), which camera app could be the best right now to capture RAW image using N6P?
Camera FV-5 supports DNG, but there is some bugs that needs fixing.
Switching between P to Shutter Priorty and back breaks the app.
But when it works its amazing.
Pro shot from rise up games
Easily the best camera app period. Being able to turn off noise reduction is the biggest feature yet. No other camera app in the play store compares simply because of that.

[QUESTION][FEATURE] Camera Pro Mode For Video Shooting ?

Does anybody know if oneplus is planning on implementing the pro mode for videoshooting like LG does ?
or can we do it through a mod or 3rd party app ?
if so then video shooting will be sick , specially using manual focus :good:
Of cours after they fix the actual bugs and lacks in the camera app like EIS in 4K
Any word yet on manual focus for videos or an alternate camera app that would do it?
Thanks

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro Camera2API, Raw and Google HDR+ Camera Support

Hi, I want to buy Galaxy J7 Pro 2017. The price is similar to Redmi Note 4 in my country but I like Samsung more. I want to ask a few questions regarding this amazing budget midrange phones;
1) Does J7 Pro support Camera2 API?
2) Does the pro camera mode able to save photos in RAW?
3) Can you install Google HDR+ Camera in this phone?
I know that this phone is Exynos but there is a port of Google HDR+ Camera for Exynos that works in S7/S8/Note8. Also, the Redmi Note 4 has same camera sensor as J7 Pro which Google HDR+ Camera helps improve the image quality significantly.
Please any kind soul helps me. Thanks
I tested Google HDR+ port for Exynos - not work on J730F.
I think J730F not support RAW.
The google camera will work on j7 pro but not with portrait mode or HDR+
Funny thing is, you can capture 120fps videos with redmi note4 while you can only 30fps with j730.
It does support Camera2API. I use open camera and it allows capturing 1440p videos (2560×1440). Samsung also added selfie portrait mode with January software update. Hopefully the back camera will also have it in future update.

You have to enable "Camera2API" in the Open camera settings first. Then restart the app and you'll see those extra resolutions in the option. There's a 4K option but it doesn't work because samsung disabled it, even though the hardware is fully capable. Mi A1 has the same same camera and shoots 4k.

I also checked the camera's capability and can shoot 1080 60fps and 2160p.
Can I shoot 60fps?
I haven't tried 1080p 60FPS yet.

Just tried and no, 60 FPS doesn't work with any resolution.

Is there any way to shoot RAW files with Essential Phone camera?

Considering buying the Essential Phone or the OnePlus 5T. I like working on RAW files with the Lightroom Mobile app, and I know you can shoot RAW in manual mode on the 5T but I haven't seen anything one way or another about the Essential Phone. Thanks.
You can't with the stock camera app.
Use the Lightroom camera
raw quality on essential phone is terrible. blurry, muted and noisy.
I find the pics using the Essential camera app are better than the DNG files shot and edited in LR.

Long exposure photography

I have tried multiple apps on my 6GB variant of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 but no app allows to take long exposures. Does anybody have a solution?
Note- Camera2api is enabled.
OpenCamera, Footej Camera workes for me. I personally used OpenCamera, but I've moved to Footej Camera recently for better UI. This picture was shot with OpenCamera.

I have tried both apps but the shutter speed does not go beyond half a second.
I want to take 10-20 second exposures.
Ah I didn't read that your device is the 6GB varian.. Mine's 4GB. I have no idea whether there's a difference or not, sorry.
