My Nova Plus doesnt have NFC? - Huawei Nova/Nova Plus Questions & Answers

Hi guys maybe missing something but my Nova plus doesn't seem o have NFC?
I checked settings>more> and there are:
Mobile Network
Tethering and Portable Hotspot
Link Plus
VPN
I have done a full factory reset of my device (MLA-L03) just to make sure it was fresh, but I don't have any option to enable NFC.
Where do I enable NFC? Anyone know?
Thanks
Doug

No wifi calling on 6.0?

I know others have said it works but I can't find the option to enable it. It's not under more in network settings. I wonder if my sim is bad since I can't see it on my nexus 5x either. Anyone else have this issue?
Who said the MXPE works on VoWifi? AFAIK, neither device (MXPE & Nexus 6) has this feature enabled yet...

Note 4 3G/4G not working.

Hello everyone,
My T-Mobile Note 4 is not recognizing my sim at all. Hell it isn't even listing any mobile networks when I try to scan for them.
Okay so it is now recognizing the SIM however the 3G/4G are not working. Only edge is working. Any ideas on how to fix that?
I did install a few custom roms in between to test them (MaximumOverDrive, NOBLE ROM) as well as kernals (freeza, Xceed) however I have reinstalled EPE3 stock via Odin now but still mobile data is not working.
Can anyone please tell me what to try/do to fix it?
If you need any more info feel free to ask.
Love,
Becky
Sounds like the SIM reader on your device may have stopped working. I'd take it to a official Samsung Service Center and let them take a look at it.

But now sim is getting recognized and 2G and EDGE are working on it. However 3G/4G are not working. I am on stock PE3 any clues on how to get it fixed?

Just take it into your cell providers local high street store. They should be able to restore the APN settings back onto your device, so that you will be able to get 3G and 4G/LTE connectivity.

[Q] Does Android Pay work on Nokia 6? US Version TA-1025

Hello memebers,
I recently bought a Nokia 6 from Amazon (TA-1025) and wondering if Android Pay work? I see there is NFC but it is not clear if Android Pay works? Tried it in one of the mega stores and didnt seem to register. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled?

Works fine for me at the gas station by my house. All I did was enable NFC. Which store were you trying it at?
I tried it in the local whole foods. I was tapping on the top portion of the phone. May be I should try it once more. I believe the NFC is enabled, how to check it?
It is working - looks like the NFC setting was switched off. Thank you for the help.

Glad it worked!
Just to add it appears that it switches off even if the switch shows it's on, as have had several experiences of this when trying to pay. I'm used to apple pay but if I am right the phone needs to be unlocked for it to work???

Has anyone tried this for volte on 6P?

Hey guys,
So we all know volte doesnt work on the 6P.
Now I know that it has the hardware for it but something is disabled like the bands or something which aren't allowing it to use volte.
So my question is, Has anyone tried to flash the radio of 5x in the 6p to get volte functionality.
I know this sounds dumb. But has anyone tried it and if yes, does it work?
It doesn't even boot, if you do that.

How are the settings? Wi-Fi preferred or Mobile Network Preferred?
Try switching to the latter if not already.
Where do I get the above settings? @Darkat70

It should be in connections/Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi calling
Under wifi calling there is nothing. @Darkat70
Where else can I have a look? @Darkat70
That's strange, the only thing I can think of is if Wi-Fi calling is turned off it wont show.
The same menu appears in Huawei Phones too, i would have thought it's an Android not OneUI2 setting.
I wonder if you try a search in settings for mobile network preferred?

This article may help, seems it's a common problem. It's for Android Pie, but i should think the same should work for 10.

Does your carrier support Wi-Fi calling, its possible that either Its not enabled on your account or its not yet supported. That's probably why nothing is showing? I could be wrong though.
Try looking in the phone app/3 dots/settings. That's where I find the wi-fi calling option
