Is there any way to get rid of this error coming up after upgrading my S10 plus to android 10?

Try disabling WiFi calling (Settings -> Connections -> Wi-Fi Calling). Reboot, then re-enable.

Will try it

Have done as u suggested @jl10101 and will check if it works

Thanks your tip seems to have worked will check when I disconnect from 1 wifi and connect to another and advice. On witch handset have you encountered this error @jl10101

How are the settings? Wi-Fi preferred or Mobile Network Preferred?
Try switching to the latter if not already.

Where do I get the above settings? @Darkat70

It should be in connections/Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi calling

Under wifi calling there is nothing. @Darkat70

Where else can I have a look? @Darkat70

That's strange, the only thing I can think of is if Wi-Fi calling is turned off it wont show.
The same menu appears in Huawei Phones too, i would have thought it's an Android not OneUI2 setting.
I wonder if you try a search in settings for mobile network preferred?

This article may help, seems it's a common problem. It's for Android Pie, but i should think the same should work for 10.

Does your carrier support Wi-Fi calling, its possible that either Its not enabled on your account or its not yet supported. That's probably why nothing is showing? I could be wrong though.

Try looking in the phone app/3 dots/settings. That's where I find the wi-fi calling option

[Q] Can't turn off Mobile Data

Hi,
There's something weird going on with my myTouch. I'll appreciate if someone could explain this.
I have turned off 'Mobile network' but still my mobile network connection seems to come on by itself even when wifi is on.
I've confirmed that its actually turning on by browsing a few webpages. When I look at the setting its 'unchecked'.
I am totally confused. :S

do you see an "h" or a "3G" in your bar?
I see an E because I am in Pakistan and we currently have Edge, don't have 3G yet :$

if you see the "E" that means your mobile data is still turned on. You should be able to go to settings > wireless & network > mobile networks > and turn off the data....
that's the problem my friend, its already unchecked :S and I am not a newbie to android
I have had a G1, then a Hero, then HD2 with Android and now myTouch 4G

Did you try turning off and on the Airplane mode?
is that known to help with this issue?

Well i'm just asking if you've tried it. I've never had a problem dropping data as soon as i turn it off. But i know AirPlane mode will sever the data connection and voice connection. when you reconnect it should turn on only the voice end of it

NO DATA?!?!

I changed ROM's and I cant get data back. Ive tried multiple and its a no go. I NEED my data. What do I do? Ive checked my APN settings....help!!!
what network are you on?
have you tried deleting all other APN's except the one you need?

has the data worked at any point before?
This is the problem that lots of people over in this thread are having ...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2084706&
We are hoping for some sort of fix to this in 4.2.2, but until then we haven't been able to find a solution. If you are 100% certain the APN settings are correct (I can't help with that as from UK so not familiar with that network) then there isn't much you can do. For me, the only thing I ever find that sometimes brings it back is if I turn airplane mode on, leave it for 30 seconds then turn it off again. Likewise, you can click on the APN to reset that each time.
If you are rooted, Faux released a modified kernal which is meant to improve data drops and the wake issue which some nexus's have.

did you cut your own micro sim?
try a spare sim if you have one.
Reset APN to default, delete all and try again.
I don't know what else to suggest other than the above / phoning google / rooting and trying a different kernal and ROM / wait for 4.2.2 update.
(In the meantime please post in the thread linked above, no need for this duplicate thread just for your issue )

Cellular Data on 950xl not working since 10586.107, now on 14267.1002

Hi Folks,
Having this nagging problem on my 950xl, while i was on insider preview of 10586.107, i got a message while paying tubecast that my 3G data is not working, and that it was a known issue. as i was out of town i dint go much then, but once i was back home i tried all the below stuff.
1) Soft Reset
2) Hard reset to Factory
3) Hard reset to factory and upgrade to latest firmware, and build 14267.1002.
None of which have resolved my problem, my phone shows H+, H,E and 2G symbols but when i put a url in edge or try gettings emails etc, it never connects to the internet.
I even managed to go to FieldTest to see if any bands are switched off but even there everything was fine.
I even logged a call with service provider, to see if its a server side problem, but they say its ok on their side.
Any suggestions? do you think my phone is faulty? anyone encountered this before and manage to fix this?
It seems you don't have an APN configured. Please check that you do.
Fixed...hurray

Thanks for the response, i had the APN configured both automatically and Manually. but it dint work before.
Update: Not sure what happened...after 6 days of no data, and lots of calls to vodafone...something happened. and data is working again now. hope it stays that way.
Have you try to reset to official build? And to me it seems like it could be a hardware issue rather than a software/firmware, since didn't see others have similar one.
I have the same problem. Hope you were able to find a solution. My problem also with wifi not able to find any network.
Connectivity
I am also having connectivity issues with my unbranded 950XL dual sim. On data, it appears to be logging on to an inappropriate network. Unlike previous OS's, I can't figure out how to get this one to manually select another network. There are some WiFi networks, usually at hotels, that I just simply cannot log on to. Everyone else can. Any advise will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Under the SIM settings, there's a "Scan for Network" or similar button, which will present a list of the providers available. This allows you to correct a mis-selected provider, manually.
On the WiFi issue, I responded to your other thread. Let me know if you aren't seeing that, and I'll post here too.

Cellular stays on while connected to wifi

I have been having a problem lately...when I am connected to wifi the cellular connection stays on. In the status bar the 4GLTE doesn't fade out like it should. I feel like this could be draining my battery. Screenshot below to see them both on in status bar.

Here's a few things you can try:
Turn off Download Booster
Turn off Name Caller ID
Turn on Wifi Calling
One of those is most likely the culprit so try one at a time to see what may be causing your problem.

Oh ok, maybe this will help then, go to Settings -> Backup and Reset -> Reset Network Settings
Try resetting your settings then connecting to your wifi again.
Turn off volte, or it has to be the vzw caller id.

Turn off smart 5G, leave network on automatic, let it find it itself.
Pop outside with your phone, maybe try another location. Just to verify that it's actually getting the signal.
If it's not then it's possible your APN (access point name) is missing or doesn't contain lines that you may need for 5G.
Haven't had too much luck with 5G on either of the OS' but it still certainly works when I have a strong signal on 5G
Few weeks back i had Vivo X50 Pro Plus it was connected with no issues to 5G.
I can't see them when i search manually either, my Wife's phone has 5G (Samsung Device), tried switching sims, same issues on my phone while on her phone i can pick up 5G network...

Then it's the device.
When you jumped from 10 to 11 did you do a factory wipe? Or at the very least system, I've found the change of bases on the OnePlus can cause problems, weirdness, this could be a result of that.
Might be worth doing that if you've exhausted all other avenues.
Verify your APN is correct.
Try not to compare other devices, it isn't helping you.
The fact that your SIM works in another phone is all the info you need to verify its not the SIM.
The issue is the software on your OnePlus.
So that's all you need to tackle.
My money's on a bug caused by the update.

As I said earlier as you've changed OS essentially from 10 - 11 I would factory wipe, at the very least system via recovery.

Crap ok.
Hmmm.
Is the option actually visible on your phone for 5G within SIM?
Or just 4G?
What network are you with?
Also your other half is she using the same network? As I remember you saying hers is fine.
I also disable smart 5G it's either working or its not in my eyes.
Did you try to nuke the APN and add it manually?
All I do is add new APN then copy the settings from the SP's website and then choose that APN as my preferred choice.
Network mode is always automatic.

Even replaced sim location on tray 2 same thing....
Added APN manually - same results.
I'll install the Beta 6 and see if it helps...
