Sound volume too low for speaker on LePro3 - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

hi, I found sound volume is too low for speaker on this phone. I got G4 which sound pretty good for my like.
My solution at the moment is use App "Volume boost GOODEV" from play store to boost the volume. I found you can boost 30-40% if set it to 50% or over sound start to crack and lose quality.
Do we have any mode for sound for device use SD820/821 anyone? thanks

Have you enabled Dolby Atmos?

Hi yes, I played around with it a bit normally I flashed Dap 6.5 (which you can level the volume make it loudr) but it didn't work on this phone, thanks

Try enable the volume leveler in dolby atmos preset that u use. The overall sound is much louder

Which dolby atmos we can enable volume leveller for this phone? Can you share the link to download?
The dolby I mentioned didn't work. For the moment with stock rom I use app "Volume booster Gooddev" it helps

I recommend Viper4Android for that, it has a setting called Cloud and it's an adjustable boost. Also there's a decibel boost systemwide. I found that Arise's works best and the Aroma installer flashable zip works best. Make sure to click the option to remove music FX so all volumes route through it and also let it set permissive mode. Like to use the EQ to cut out the low bass that a tiny phone speaker can't reproduce, pretty much anything under 150hz or so.

I use stock dolby atmos. If by any chance u have problem accessing the dolby control panel,
Download Anycut from playstore. Inside the app tap new shortcut - activity - dolby - ok.
Then u can access the dolby control panel from your homescreen.
Turn on dolby and tap any preset that u like. Tap the same preset and edit as u want.

I Need A Better Audio Booster

I need a better audio booster for use with my XMI X II Mini speaker, the HD2 isn't quite loud enough, it's leaving the speaker with a lot of headroom.
I have been using the WOW STS HD cab, but I'm finding it hard to boost all frequencies uniformly with it.
Can the built in audio booster be tweaked or is there another program out there that i could make use of?
try the built-in equalizer in pocket player from conduits, maybe it will fit your requirements?

No improvement, seems worse (volume wise) than standard player with audio boost and WOW SRS HD (or even without this).
Edit: Just realised i can use WOW SRS HD with it.
This is still just about on part with standard audio booster i think, will experiment more.
Still would like away to tweak the standard audio booster or WOW SRS HD or an alternative method of boosting audio volume for use with speaker.
Earphones are not a problem (they are loud enough) and i don't mind the standard speaker for ring tones etc...
go the heavy way and starte htc audio booster, pocket player with critical - extreme settings and full bass + bass equalizer preset and srs, i think THAT shoudl be enough xD
for me windows mobile got awsome sound quality, but i still changed to cowon s9 mp

Oh yeah, just realised that audio booster works outside of HTC music player if you configure it in it's standalone app.
How do i configure pocket player to have critical extreme settings?
Edit: I'm just going to assume you meant max settings on the equalizer.
would need to install it again, so dont know exactly, but there are settings like this, just search xD
but its not the best thing of the pocketplayer.. what gives u awsome sound are the DSP plugins + the equalizer -> activate multi DSP in settings and choose surround sound and the bass DSP, maybe something else too, then go to the equalizer and make an awsome own equalizer, i would say with high deeps and ups
then start SRS with a good setting..
and htc Audio booster with like the same equalizer setting as the pocketplayer...
and now go search .flac songs, cause mp3 is to bad for this XD i dont know if it will still sound well after so much things xD..

Well, couldn't find extreme-critical anywhere, maybe it was on an older version.
I just realised that the equalizer which has a soft preamp built in wasn't actually enabled though, it has the word enabled in a list in settings, which made me thought i was enabled, but you actually need to press that and then there will be a tick next to it, there's no box for a tick or anything, nothing obvious that would have given that away.
Anyway I'm all set now, the preamp and equalizer is very loud even without WOW SRS HD.
i was using version 4.0.. >.<
but yea, then its ok^^ already thought what crazy human u are when pocketplayer isnt enough for u xD.. even for me it was enough

Try this. Worked for me.
For me the best audio player available in an Android device so far is Poweramp.
I have tried the below technique and worked fine for me.
*) Go to Settings -> application Force Close any DSP manager/ volume boost service
*) Go to poweramp Equalizer screen
*) Set Poweramp preamp value to high level
*) Set the preset to Bass and treble.
Now you play a song and check the difference.

What settings for audio do you use?
I use this and I wanna know of there are better settings. Share yours
I use DooMKernel v11 and Faux Sound too

I know it makes a big difference via headphones but does the speaker setting improve the Z2...if so what settings do you recommend. I tried it on the speaker of my Nexus 7 and couldn't hear the difference

Hi Michael ,
- open Viper4Android -> Menu -> UI Settings -> Expert Mode
- In Master Power section , tick Enable
- In Convolver section , tick enable and choose Impulse Response that you like , I use SPL GoldMike Impulse (you have to download IRS file and import it to Viper4Android - to import copy the IRS file to /internal-storage/Viper4Android/kernel folder)
- List of some IRS sample file (free & paid)
+ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2442933
- Playback Gain Control section , tick enable , select Moderate Effect Strength , 4x Max Gain
- Fidelity Control Section , enable viper bass , select Natural Bass mode , 40Hz Freq ,6db Bass Boost , enable Viper Clarity , Ozone+ mode , 8db Clarity
I heard Viper4android consumes more battery, but is it a lot or not even noticeable?

I'm using viper4android just with noice cancelling headset. I'll share my settings if anyone want to try.
I'm using Exiztenz 3.1.5 as my ROM...
My music player is PowerAMP > I set the equalizer to "Rock" > the the bass knob 1 third up and the treble 2 thirds up.
I use Sony stock audio settings > sound effects > equalizer on "Heavy" > headphone settings on Studio > Headphones as STH-30.
Then i use skull candy "smokin buds" as my headset.
Great for my liking, i only listen to EDM and Hip Hop
Does viper4android works on stock rooted .402?

yeah.. same here.. Viper makes the phone sound louder but, stock config sound just way better and clean.. People often confuse "Good Quality" with "More Volume"
Thanks for yours replies, but what configuration do you use on Sound Effects?
Is there any way to adjust phone speakers' volumes seperately? My top speaker is louder than bottom speaker. And call sound is low.

DOLBY ATMOS - what is use of this app and how to turn it ON while listening to music?

I use PowerAmp to play all my music. I found Dolby Atmos app on my Axon 7. But I could not turn it ON while my Poweramp player is playing. Also what is use of Dolby Atmos and how it works ?
Atmos is just a software eq. You can just stick with PowerAmp eq if you want. If you have FLAC music and want to use the hi-fi DAC, you will have to use the ZTE music app. The DAC doesn't work outside of the app from what I can tell.

Checking MusicFX means it will use the phone's built-in EQ which is the Dolby Atmos one which should use the Hi-Fi DAC.
EDIT: Ok I guess I was wrong, but it is possible to use the Hi-Fi DAC with Poweramp 3.0 Alpha! See HERE

Nope, just have the installed version from the Play Store. I'll get the alpha, thanks for the response.
Am I the only one that can't get the tracks to be listed in listed order in the stock music app? No matter what I do or which section I choose to view the tracks, they're always listed alphabetically.
Got burned by Lenovo's A10-70 tablet that also have implemented Dolby ATMOS. That tablet sound will get screwed up every time I loaded Poweramp normal Play Store version. Even disable Direct Volume Control in Poweramp does not help. Please tell me if both normal and alpha version of Poweramp works fine with this phone since I am very much interested. I am also not familiar with ZTE software update policy. Not sure if it will get updated as often and as long like Google Nexus phones.

Shuttle (and Shuttle+) work well with Dolby Atoms, just disable the built in EQ.
DON'T use "n7 Player" - Before their update, it messed up Dolby and I had to reset my phone twice (a 3rd time was my fault). After their latest update, it renders Dolby Atoms useless and when you try to enable it, it restarts the phone (had to reset my phone twice). Thanks to n7 (my favorite player) not playing well with Dolby Atmos, I've had to reset my phone a total of 5 times since getting it 3 weeks ago.

Headset HiFi and Dolby Atmos works with my music player of choice as well: Clean Music. Probably because it's just a simple GUI (entire player is less than 1MB) and leaves all the processing to the system.
Okay apart from Poweramp and builtin music player - what are other good options to make use of best available audio on board with Axon 7 ?

Well Spotify seems to work well for me. It probably doesn't use the Hi-Fi chip but with Dolby enabled the sound is very nice.
Call me stupid or lazy but the volume is tiny compared to my old LG G2. I have to turn it all the way up to 70%. Is this the case for you guys?
Hello
I tried to use poweramp, but this isn´t dolby Atmos enabled, but, I ´m using Jetaudio plus... and this works PERFECT, remember that this sound app was designed for use in high -end mp3 players ( like cowon), and i can say with full confidence that works great with dolby atmos, boosting very well the music in the speakersphone, in the bluetooth car stereo and headphones ( wired and wireless)... this app bringing bass optimization ( in the original speakersphone the bass is very poor), let me know your experience, i´ll try to help
Please don't recommend warez. Against XDA rules. Getting paid apps for free is warez.

i love when someone expresses gratitude with an aid. The post was edited, It was with pleasure!
Someone on the Zte forums said you need to disable direct volume control and BT direct volume control in the settings. In order to get power amp to work with Dolby.
And I can confirm that I am able to use the hifi setting and Dolby with Tidal. Which actually makes the music sound better to me than my dp-x1 onkyo player, which makes me mad cause that thing cost me 800$ lol

Dolby atmos not working

I'm unable to activate atmos. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I'm rooted with an unlocked bootloader and xposed. It's happened on b27 and b29. Shortly after upgrading to b29 and installing xposed and everything it worked but eventually (and I don't know what I did differently) I'm unable to activate it. It stays grayed out in the quick settings and in the app it does nothing when pressing the power button.

If you have a separate music program such as Rocket player .. Have you enabled the EQ.. if so you need to disable the EQ in your music program .. then it should be able to be activated again. I find that when I want to listen through my speakers and want the Dolby to work .. the player has to have its EQ off .. but I found when listening to headphones its better with the players EQ than using the Dobly.. so I will activate the players EQ and dolby will shut off and not be able to be activated.

If any other app uses an EQ and it is enabled in that app .. Dolby will not function even if you aren't using that app at the time. This is what I meant. Just check your music app .. and disable the EQ and dolby should be able to be activated again. It doesn't matter if you are running youtube or whatever but as long as an EQ is enabled in another app running or not.. the dolby app will not work.
I guess I wasn't really clear about that .. yes .. if my Rocket player app has the EQ enabled but the app isn't running .. and I reboot .. I will not be able to activate dolby after it reboots.. it will be grayed out and if I launch the Dolby app and press the power button nothing happens ... until I open the Rocket Player app and disable the EQ. Then Dolby will be able to be activated again.
So at least as a test .. make sure that any app that has an EQ available .. that the EQ is disabled in that app... doesn't matter if you are using the app at the moment or if its just installed and the EQ is enabled. You have to disable the EQ on any app installed on the system. Once all EQs are disable whether running or not... then Dolby EQ will be able to be enabled.

Darn I thought that for sure was it ... it sounds exactly like what happens when I have the EQ enabled in my music app whether its running or not and its happened with several different music apps I tried ... it basically reacts the same way as what you explained .... Sorry then, yeah maybe something else has a built in EQ without any "user interface" for disabling it and that app is causing your issues ... but it definitely sounds like some app is trying to manipulate the sound and causing interference with the Dolby app by the way you described it reacting.
Unfortunately at this point in time .. my only suggestion would be a full reset ... your Dolby should be working again ... then install your apps one at a time and keep checking the dolby after installing and running each new app at least once to try to figure out which app is causing the issue . ..
Since you are on XDA .. not sure if you have twrp .. if so . back up your system the way it is now .. do the reset ..then if you find what app is causing it .. just reload your backup and remove the offending app
John was right actually, all u need to do is deactivate equalizer in music app and restart, worked for me there. Well mine is mini version so I'm not sure if that makes any difference.
