Hey my phone is broken i can only use facebook and messenger i cant go to the chrome cuz it says that im offline and in google play it says that im offline and ihave to check do i have wifi on and try again but im connected to my wifi and im very close to the router i tryed to cleat the data and cache in those apps and it doesnt work on 1 forum guy said to go the the recovery and do the reflash soft what should i do now? sry its my first thread and my english is not good

Hello , i have huge problem with my Samsung Galaxy S.When i turn on wifi , my galaxy s freezes , and only 1 way is to reboot telephone , or take battery out
I dont have this problem at home.When i use wifi at home everything seems to be ok it can easily connect to my router .Problem starts when i go to shops/schools when i want to connect to others wifi my galaxy just freezes :/.
Originaly i bought it with android 2.2 , i had the same problem with wifi.
I installed android 2.2.1 - also the same problem .
During last weekend i installed darky's rom 9.1 and it didnt help
Do u have any ideas what to do , or just my galaxy s is broken and i hae to get it back to samsung tech center ?
Have you ever done a factory reset on the phone? If not that may help otherwise it may be hardware related. Since 2.2.1 have not had a single problem with wifi.

Yes i was trying factory reset few times also i was trying to clean cache , problem still exists
Sounds like possible password problem, delete all your passwords and wifi connections .
Reset up home connection then try external where you have the password and a strong wifi signal .

I deleted my wifi profile , and problem still esists when im trying to find wireless networks in shop galeries etc..
I have almost the same problem but it happens with voodoo and not speedmod and when I turn it off
Today i made total wipe of my galaxy i downgraded it to official clean I9000XXJPU without any speedmods voodoo , i'll let u know tomorrow results .If it won't work ill try to use I9000XXJPX than ill test clean I9000XXJPY.Ill let u know my results .

Nop i don have password , my galaxy s just keep freezing while searching for wireless networks ( secured , non secured ) . When im at home , i can connec tto my router ( secured with password ) without any problems .
So its not a connection problem then .
But a WiFi search problem .
Time for it to go back to Samsung then .

Problem solved !! but i had to give back my Galaxy S to Samsung service :/

hi,im new to this,so if iv done anything wrong im apoligise,im having some issues with my galaxy s,2 in actual fact,the first being that when i turn on my phone,im getting "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" i have no idea what this means but its quiet annoying,problem 2 lies with my apn settings,i live in ireland and use the meteor network,when i turn off my phone i and then turn it back on again i have to manually key in the apn settings as the phone simply wont save them,this is the most annoying of all,if i dont set them im unable to use the internet or recieve mms messages,im not a computer wizz or anything like it,so simple is best for me, any help would be greatly apreciated,thanks
Hi. Try a factory reset first then learn how to flash your phone (you have a lot of reading to do).

I really need your help. Is My IP blocked by google? Playstore works fine on GPRS but when I try to download applications through Wifi on galaxy note it shows server error. When i click download, it say country not supported. It lets me download through GPRS. Can anyone pls help? 'this item can not be installed in your device's country'

It was working fine uptil now. I have been downloading applications since 6 months. Every time I try to login it gives me server error but it works fine through GPRS. One more thing, I can download all the apps which I had downloaded previously from my apps without any problem. I don't want to use market unable to resolve this. Can you please help?

Market unabler, right? I don't want to use that. It's not a country problem I am sure because no one else from India is having such issue.
you may try and fix permission on bootloader. i had your same problem with a custom rom, i fixed permission and now it is ok. let me know how it goes

Since when you are facing this problem? I am having this problem since one week.
No one seems to have solution for this. I found an alternative which might help few ppl. You have to turn on the GPRS first and click on download (any app you want to download from play store.). Once download animation starts, you can turn wifi on. Strangely, it allows to download through wifi then. Otherwise, I get an error that this item can not be installed in your country. I am not sure how long thing alternative will work.
I am having same same problem since yesterday. Error 921 or 941. I don't get it, because when I try download something on my S2 it does it without problems. But my Note doesn't download at wi-fi or over network data connection. Tried remove battery, restart the phone, nothing. Running everything stock, DBT latest firmware, unlocked phone on AT&T network with unlimited data.
My problem is solved now ... Remove all account information from account and sync by doing hard reset. Created another gmail account with US address. After that, unchecked the background data button and unabled it after some time. It started working without any problems

i get this message "can't establish a reliable data connection to the server this could be a temporary problem..."
i read and try every trick that worth this forum and others - clear data, reset, over wifi/data, i even tried to root the device via odin but it filed (red color).
please help...

If you bought the galaxy s4 from at&t it should be an i337. You need to let us know what baseband your on. Usually deleting your login restarting and putting your login back in should work.

hello every one my problem is my mobile wont save the wifi networks , what ever i connect to wifi network everything is okay but when i turn the wifi off and on again and want to connect to my wifi it ask for password
i have galaxy s4 lte i9505 ( firmware i9505xxuhoa7 )
i have tested this on many wifi networks but all is the same
looks like its not writing on that file should save the names and passwords ! i dont know i guess that but i dont know how to fix this problem

Probably factory reset. Then don't restore the wifi password from Google account. Sometimes that will fix it.

i tested that b4 u add the google account
on phone start up i skiped all accounts import .
could somebody on earth help me ?

Try first to update your BL and Modem.
If it not help, i suggest you to flash Imperium Kernel v2.8 thru Philz recovery.
It will trick knox to 0x1, but it should works
