On screen buttons not appearing? - Huawei Mediapad M3 Questions & Answers

Hey,
Just got one of these tablets and the on screen buttons do not appear. Is this something that could be fixed with a hard reset? Or is this just a setting somewhere that i cant find? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there. Is there an option to hide them in Settings->Navigation?

Help with the "Ok" button

Ok I tried to do some searching for the front "Ok" button but either I didn't find any or I'm not searching using the right words so if you know of the answer, if you could either help or point me to the correct thread that'd be greatly appreciated.
Anyways, I am looking to, if possible, set the front "ok" button to actually close the program rather than minimize it.
SPB Pocket Plus?
Hi,
Check the quick menu (which actually replaces the default startmenu).
quick menu have an option to close the application on OK button instead of minimize.
good luck

[Solved] Cyanogen's Orientation nonfunctioning in Home

I installed CyanogenMod 5.0.6 on my N1 and everything works fine, except there's no auto-landscape / auto-rotate on the home screen.
Is there something extra I need to do to get this to work, or is this a known issue? I searched as much as I could but couldn't find any answers to this.
Thanks!

Smart stay 'eye' icon always present

Hi all,
I would like to ask if any of you have this same thing.
I have tried to disable all of the smart stay / smart scroll feature of the phone, yet I still see the 'eye' icon in notification which indicated that the feature is still on. Is it just me or you guys have the same thing?
I already tried to turn off the phone, remove the battery, turn on again, it still there.
I don't want to hard reset yet, as maybe something else I could do, or maybe it is supposed to always stay there.
Thank you.
I9505.
On this phone the eye icon is always there but since no active - it is still dimmed. no problems all.

Hi,
If you go to settings/my device/smart screen, and uncheck everything, the eye in the notification bar disappears.

Hi, no luck. I try that as soon as you inform me. But it still there. Any other suggestion? May I know you using I9505 or I9500? Perhaps different built?
Thanks

Finally I hard reset the phone. It's working. The eye is gone. Hope the glitch will not come back.

Phone speaking to me but no pressing can buttons

I can see the humour to this ... if I can fix it quickly.
My phone is talking to me ... everything I touch it tells me what it is - needs double tap to go anywhere and two fingers to scroll. Bloody weird. What have I done? Does anyone know? I can't use my phone at all. I have pressed something accidentally it seems? I wonder if someone has played a trick on me. ANy help please would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Can I delete this, please. Solved.
Don't delete it. For anyone else who accidentally stumbles upon this, it's TalkBack. Go to Settings -> Accessibility and you'll see the option to enable or disable TalkBack.

Had this happen to me when I received my first 6p. I thought it was defective but I was able to complete the setup and then navigate to settings and perform a factory reset. Good to know there is a setting to turn it off
