When using loudspeaker (video call or just voice call on loudspeaker) in leeco le s3 on skype or hangouts, the other side can't hear me. Microphone level is really low.
Even when I call Skype Test Call (echo), I cannot hear myself (if I use headset/earpiece, not loudspeaker, everything works fine).
Has anyone else observed issues like that? I am wondering if that's just my copy, or whether all le s3 have that problem (I can still send it back).
This is not the problem only with you even I am having same issue in Le 2 in Skype and many others have similar problems in devoces having actibe noise cancellation.
Any solution to that problem? Is it a software or hardware problem? Should people return, or is replacement likely going to help?

while on call, everyone is having problems hearing me, i even did the test myself with one friend, and the micro cannot have one perceptible reception.
But, while in sound recorder mode, it works ok.
Is there any way to improve the microphone volume while in call? (patches, software, etc)

I enabled the microphone auto gain control. So far, I have not received any complaint from the people I talk to, on the phone.
but i have that option enabled :/

It was always like this, or started suddenly? Maybe it's an hardware problem?
i never used this device often, but only noticed this when i changed to wm6

This problem seems to be new.
Whenever I Video call, Skype or hangouts. My call volume is so low that i can barely hear the other person. Even with the volume turned all the way up in settings its still so low i can barely hear them. I thought maybe it was a hardware problem, however when i play music or even use speaker phone on a non video call the sound is loud and clear. Something seems to be switching the volume to a much lower setting right as the call picks up. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Hello... I'm posting almost a year after yours to say that I had the same problem with my Note 3 on JasmineROM 2.4.4. I never looked into it, because I didn't do video calls very often, and I just got used to using a bluetooth headset to make the calls.
I now have a Note 4 Developer Edition, and I gave the Note 3 to my wife. We did a video call this morning, and she said she couldn't hear me at all. So, the problem has come back. But, the problem is... she can't just use a bluetooth headset because we do video calls so that I can see my son when I'm not at home... and I want him to hear me. Good luck keeping a bluetooth headset on a toddler.

I didn't notice this until I was using it to make calls and using the speaker. When I make a call using hangouts, speaker phone causes an echo not for me but for the people I call. I confirmed this and its something to do with OnePlus Two, even this issue persists on OnePlus One, even til this day.
This seems to affects 3rd party apps like Skype, Hangouts, ect.. If calls are made with the phone (SIM) speaker phone echos don't happen at least not through extensive testing.
Can anyone else confirm this issue? The echo goes away with bluetooth or headset mic connected. Just sucks that this exists.

Me too. The feedback in hangouts makes it unusable for video calls.
If you guys ever try out the microphone and try to record . You will hear every little details behind you on the background.when we talk on the phone the newest cancellation cancel out the background noise.but when we using application like WhatsApp or any challeng application the microphone is not canceling the background noise. So you will hear a lot of noise on the background.
I'm using 1 + 6 before and other Apple phone do not have this issu

I have facing the similar issue with my S10+. When I call to someone or receive it, the 2nd person always said that your voice is too loud and he could not understand me. Also when I do video chat with someone always 2nd person listen echo of his voice.

I used app from play store to check and I guessed it right, while mic mode was on 'Direct' and I recorded from usual earohone mic distance, then the sound was, loud and clear. But when I recorded in the same condition in the mode 'Communication', then I barely can hear me. Now after this test, I am sure the problem is in the feature 'microphone noice cancellation' for calls only. So as I identified the issue, is it impossible to fix? Can I totally disable the function 'noice cancellation' on my device? Please help. I am in desperate need of a fix during this covid pandemic as many many important meetings are happening online.

I repeat, recorded general sound is OKAY but not when on call on any app other than general phone call app. Tested same earphone on same apps from an old samsung phone too. No problem found there at all! Sounded clear while using samsung during messenger call / whatsapp call / discord call / google meet call / zoom call. So don’t say it's mic's fault. It isn’t. It is software handling problem as far as I can understand. Please show me a way fast.

mine is completely opposite. I have to put on headphones to hear anything. One day I handed to my phone to someone, and he said there is no sound. When I put on my ear, I understood what the problem was. It is actually inaudible to any normal person. it is on stock rom, unrooted. Also the problem peaks if someone call from to my jio sim, using a MI phone. There is no problem in sim, cause I switched mine to another phone and it was fine, sound was cristal clear.
