Hi friends,
After the recent update of lenovo k4 note ( Volte ), reliance jio 4g voice calling feature is not working. I'm unable to find dial pad in that app, also showing this message at the top. " Calling is disabled here as it's available through phone dialer"
I tried following.
Clearing jio4g voice cache and data
Deleting folders including hidden files
Cleaning those deleted files using Clean master
Logging in to the app, same problem exists.
Recently I tried factory reset and there was not change in the problem.
Kindly help.

Have you experienced VoLTE network disappearing after phone is standby for couple of minutes or hours (did not notice the time since its a standby phone for me).
There is volte future after updating the lenovo k4 note no need jio 4g voice call app

Hey, my name is Chris, i'm from Greece and I recently got a Huawei p8 lite ale l21 and i can't make or receive any calls. When I trying call someone i get a "mobile network not available". In dual sim setting i can see my sim working in slot 1 and i have full signal and 4G perfectly working all the time. Also slot 2 is totally useless as when i tried to place my sim there i did not have even signal.
I have searched around the web a little bit but i have not find something really helpful. Any ideas?
It will be helpful to change my ROM to a custom?My current version is C432B170. That was the first thing that i thought but i m not very familiar with that kind of stuff
Edit: I ve install marshmallow 6.0. Nothing changed... Still have 4g, full signal etc but i can't make or receive calls.

I was experiencing with similar problems, although the calls were coming through just fine, but after dialing any number, or trying to call from Contacts, the Dialer force closed immediately.
I disabled all installed xposed extension, and my problem was fixed all the sudden after the reboot, and calling works fine since then.
Your problem seems different from mine, maybe you should try swapping the two cards, or try to get them replaced at your carrier.
Also, the ROM has to be dual-sim in order to get the second slot working, and the second slot will work only with 2G and calling.

I had the same problem as daviddosa. Except, even I have disabled then uninstalled all exposed module, the symptom still appearing randomly. Now after several reboots and factory reset I could not start calling. Maybe I going to reinstall a stock ROM.

Calls are not working. When you dial out it just shows Dialing.. If trying to Dial in it shows Busy.
DATA, SMS, Network is working. If you make Emergency call without Sim card inserted it connects.
Can this problem be solved?

Happened to me last night.
Tried clearing phone app cache. Tried rebooting. Tried clearing cache in TWRP. Tried reflashing current ROM. Tried reflashing older version of current ROM. Nothing worked.
Finally tried restoring a backup I made (I THINK it was w/ TWRP 3.0.2-1). That bricked my phone.
Have ONLY ever been running DU Weeklies, no kernels, no other mods. Never tried N (Previews or otherwise). Just all of a sudden, couldn't make or recieve calls.
No idea what happened, and with all these bootloops from ppl going from MM to N and back, my concerns get lost in the wash. So heads up, no warning within 12 hours of not making calls and it just "dialing", I now have an expensive desk ornament.
I noticed the same problem. What network are you guys on? I'm on project Fi and I noticed it only happened when I was connected to T-mobile band 12. When it switched to a different band or network, calls started working again. Could it be something to do with VoLTE not working correctly?
Well i asked this question because someone is selling a 6p quite cheap with this problem. Did a bit of searching and found out that this problem could be linked to loose Antena contacts, corrupted cache, wrong selected bands radio bands.. The guy who is selling claims that it happened after factory reset. I was hoping to buy it cheap and fix it myself, but since there are no solutions and pointers to what causes this problem, can't buy. That would mean I'm buying a small tablet..

I'm on Sprint.
Have you guys tried going into the "Phone information" section if the *#*#4636#*#* debug screen and seeing which option is selected? It should be "LTE/CDMA auto (PRL)" if you're on Sprint.

As long as you are able to call, you're fine. I do not know what triggers the HD symbol, as it randomly came once for me, and has been coming since.

Have you tested your Jio Sims in another device, making sure it's nothing to do with your SIM?
i recently taken JIo sim...i can not call anybody ..and nobody can call me ether....it says my number is switched off....though i can use internet ...i am on latest RR rom android N 7.1.2 from silesh nair... same issue was with the latest lineage os ......
same sim was working fine in lenovo k5 note plus with no issue.....

Symbols doesnt matter at all. U can manually turn them on or off. Main issue remains whether u can use it or. As long as the problem goes, in updates it will be fix(mostly have been fix while im writing) if not try this.
Keep second sim card on stand by mode all preference to ur jio sim(make sure it is showing in setting>sim cards). For rr in configuration system tuner check volte and try again. checking volte is just to asure tht it is working other wise it doesn't matters.

I am also on RR ROM using JIO SIM. VoLTE symbol not appearing and unable to place calls or take calls. Help me.

Under system tuner VoLTE icon is enabled.
Reboot device, remove and re-insert jio sim and see if you get that enhanced 4g lte option in sim settings.
Volte symbol in status bar can be enabled/disabled in some roms it doesn't matter if you actually have volte service or not .
Device HD capable notification which used to appear on status bar when you enable 4g lte option won't come now on most roms...reason...

i have serious issue with my device one is network issue (jio) contentiously goes and drop network 2nd if there is no network and i made call from jio phone is autmatically reboot
this problem i get on mokkee then i flash lineage (official) then i flash cm 13.1

Okay. So first uninstall the app (or clear the data and cache) and reinstall it. Then Whitelist the app from battery optimization. Also if you have any sort of battery saving apps (like Greenify) then Whitelist Jio from these apps also. Then make sure that you have not disabled the persistent notification of the app.

Doesn't help.
I am on nuclea nougat. Same reboot issue when I call through jio 4g voice.
Did uninstall amd reinstall. Whitelisted it,gave all permissions, allowed it to draw over other apps.
Still the phone reboots.
*I am on roaming jio. No random reboots at all except when I call through jio 4g voice app.
* Network reception can also be the reason for it. I am in a very poor reception area. Marshmallow roms shows no signal most of the time(hence no calling through jio 4g voice). Nougat has little network and a slow data connection but restarts when calling through jio 4g voice app.

Ohh? Then the app might be poorly developed and doesn't support Nougat. Why don't to chk the consistency of the app by running it on a Nougat phone without VoLTE support.

Ya, I am also facing reboot when I call from jio4gvoice app. I was on Lineage OS14.1, because of reboots I thought nougat problem so reverted back to COS 12.1 stock OS, flashed via fastboot and locked bootloader, but still I am facing reboots. Uninstalled then reinstalled jio4gvoice app cleared data .. I did everything but all in vain.. app is poorly developed I guess, does anyone have solution to this problem???
This seems like NuclearRom issue - some other custom ROMs have also reported the same issue
What's the solution then???

There's no rom which is 100% . There are bugs here and there ... So decide for yourself... I liked COS12.1 so reverted back to it from Lineage OS 14.1. .. if you don't want any reboots while Calling on jio4gvoice app, I think ZUI is perfect for you. There are no random reboots in ZUI

5G and VoLTE works but when VoLTE is enabled all the incoming calls Unknown!
But when i turn off VoLTE its back to normal all incoming calls has names and phone numbers.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Try changing your simcard from SIM1 to SIM2 and look if that helps.

Weird. I don't know if this helps but maybe a factory reset if not return the phone and replace it. I don't have that problem. And I did a search for you and you're not alone with the same problem and many replaced the phone. Could be ha hardware or operator issue
Same problem here.
After turning off VoLTE and VoWIFI it works fine.
Hope they will fix it soon because VoWIFI is must have for me.

Could you report them this issue? Ideally to their Discord server or even Twitter account (Nothing Support).
Same issue for me here. Have tweeted the Nothing Support team, we'll see what we get.
As a stop-gap, where do I find the VoLTE / VoWifi settings to switch them off. And what do they even do?
