Hello.i just unrooted and go to stock just to receive OTA and then root again.My device doesn't find the OTA.Maybe of unlocked BL.I read that u can store the OTA on your SD and then it will automatically recognize and install.So can anyone who just receive OTA find it and extract it before the installation?Or tell me where to find it and how to install?Thanks.

Just some secunds ago I recived information aubout updating my moto g (germany). as it is rooted sucessfully, it seems not to be possible. I don't want to loose my data right now (i'll back it up soon and reset the device if there is no other way).

There will be a message like "Update not possible" after reboot.
I received the OTA too. I'm not rooted, upgrade was painless and now I'm able to install apks directly from the file explorer.

I went from some tutorials and guids to flash rom through recovery modes. But the problem is i dont have my bootloader allowed. I have customized Indian Firmware. I checked by *#*#7378423#*#* and got unlock bootloader allowed: No. while my phone is rooted and running android 5.1.1 10.7.A.0.222 with stock ROM. I just have to flash that rom so pleasetell me how to unlock my bootloader and install recovery mode to flash the rom.

You dont need to unlock bootloader for this rom.just install recovery and done

I installed recovery by twrp and then it said recovery installed successful and would you like to reboot and check recovery mode? I just did that, phone rebooted and then nothing, phone just booted normally in android of recovery mode. I tried several times but no luck.
Additional about my phone:
I live in India and I actually imported my phonr from SFR france. At start my phone had SFR france firmware then I flashed customized Indian Firmware (which is made for Indian phones) to it.
Try to fix your firmware with sony pc companion and put dual recovery for locked boot loader and go to cwm to install the zip without any wipes

My gf wants mm so badly, but she does not want to do all the flash work again, plus wiping. Lazy.
She has unlocked bootloader and root. Version B140.
She just received the OTA B181 and I was wondering if a normal update would work, just removing the root before. I know that in Samsung phones that does the trick.
Also: will the recovery be overwritten? Will the bootloader remain unlocked (i think so)?
(Also i just read something about that bug that block the update at 4%, is it the B171 or it affects the B181 aswell?)
