I had completely lost all the hopes after bad luck with other various ways to bypass the lock screen(Pin Lock). To be honest I didn't expect this to work either. But I was completely taken by surprise. Thanks a ton for this mod. Worked like a charm with my note 2 n7100 with DN4 installed on it.

Dr. You said to flash the file you created and it would work. I'm sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but I'd rather have the answer then appear like an idiot. Here goes......
I have kies and Odin I cannot figure out how to flash your file using either one of those tools. You mentioned "flashing from recovery" if that's the case how does one do that.
I am able to get Odin to see my phone but it won't do anything with your file
Please Advise I'm miserably frustrated and can't hard reset at the cost of loosing very important files.

Recovery menu of your phone. To access recovery. Switch of your phone. Press and hold. Volume up button + home button + power on. After a few seconds release power button but keep balding volume up + home. You'll get into recovery.

That is probably the right answer the problem is it didn't work on my note 4. When I got into recovery mode I selected the "SDcard option" and directed it to the folder I downloaded from the good Dr. The folder didn't have anything it was looking for and simply said so.
So I tried going deeper into the folder trying to find anything it would respond to but came up empty. So I tried downloading and installing the ADB app with SDK files and drivers the whole works. By the time I got it all set up apparently the phone has to have debugging turned off before ADB can communicate with my phone. Which of course my phone cannot be accessed because master password is required which I don't have.
I have the PW but it won't accept it. I think It was caused by a conflict with an app I downloaded. Any help or ideas short of doing a complete factory reset, I would really appreciate it. It's evident that starting over May be my only choice. I just can't lose all my information.........I was 24 hrs from backup to.

Also. If you have left WiFi on it will automatically connect to known WiFi nets. Or insert a simple card w/o pin. If you know the password then either go to find my Samsung or Google remote find phone both need Internet and use one of tho the to change your password and unlock remotely your phone. That is your best chance.

I can't thank you enough I was able to reset using the Google device manager as you suggested. It never accured to me that was even available on a phone that was locked. Resetting remotely is a great feature.

1. install custom recovery (CWM) via odin.
2. load this zip file onto a micro sd card ( you cant access the phones storage to load it onto the phone).
3 restart phone in custom recovery
4. select install zip from memory card then restart phone and enjoy.
S5 Mini G800F rooted CF Android 4.4.2
Once Dr. Ketan's script flashed from recovery will bypass the Lockscreen Security (fingerprintpassword, password, locksetings, personal key, gesture key) the associated security information is gone.
I wonder how the following scenario will work out:
1. What if BEFORE running Dr. Ketan's script the files related to Lockscreen Security are copied to e.g. external SD card - or internal storage - by another script from recovery?
2. Then run Dr. Ketan's script flashed from recovery to bypass the Lockscreen utility.
3. Then access telephone and reboot.
4. Then run another script from recovery to copy back the files of step 1 related to Lockscreen Security to their respective original locations.
QUESTION: Will now the original Lockscreen Security information be active again on the telephone?
So the original fingerprint and other settings of the Lockscreen utility from step 1 are active again on the telephone?
Edit: In the discussion area Dr. Ketan and Mussels84 discuss the use of Nandroid for backing up purposes with problems encountered. I read on forums that Nandroid usage may result in wrong access rights assigned to files involved in Nandroid operations due to oversight of users. Dr. Ketan's script is actually a set of commands. The copy (backup step 1) and copy (restore step 4) actions of my assumption above should be done in the same way as Dr. Ketan's script: with a set of commands and not Nandroid to avoid potential issues. Is ti too easy to think that just a slight adoption to Dr. Ketan's original scrip could do the job?
Cant use fingerprintscanner, and dont know alternate password

My phone was in my pocket and something kept touching the fingerprintscanner, because of too many failed attempts my phone got "blocked", I cant use the fingerprint scanner and i dont remember the alternate password. I dont want to do a factory reset because my phone has a lot of valuable data and personal photos.
Does anyone know how i can get the fingerprintscan function to work again or bypass the password screen?

1. Dr. Ketan explains the root non root issue in his thread.
2. I am not sure if a custom recovery will trick the KNOX. I am jsut a junior expert and an afriad to mention wrong information. But to my best (may be wrong/limited knowledge), a custom recovery will not trick the KNOX. But please look for re-affirment from a more expereinced XDA memeber.
Galaxy note 4 lock screen problem
My galaxy note 4 has fingerprint lock screen. and yesterday it didn't recognize my fingerprint. maybe because my fingers are wrinkly that time. My data network is disabled. that is why I try to unlock it using backup password but i forgot my password. I tried many times. and then It only ask me to enter password no other option like fingerprint or log in via google mail. It's too late for me to realize that I can enable my data network even if its locked. Now my problem is I don't really remember my password and I tried so many times. and weird thing is that it says unable to verify your fingerprint 6 times. try again in 30 seconds. which It didn't scan my fingerprint it only ask to enter a password. I restart it a lot of times but nothings happen. Bypass screen lock app from google play is not compatible with note 4. I also tried to change lock on android device manager but it wont let me it said phone is already locked so It doesn't need to be changed.
I don't want to factory reset my phone. I need my files. please help. and It is possible to recover my files after factory reset??
btw. i also did the flashing thing. but I don't know if i did it right. nothings happen. please help me how. what i did was I power off my phone the I press power buton + volume up + home button and It brings me to an options and I choose apply update using external storage. I download the attached file by dr. and put it on my sd card. then I click the zip file there's too error occured then at the end it says complete then the phone restart and nothings happen.

So will not try to type out a book here, but want to try to include all the info/everything I have done do this point. I recently purchased a Galaxy S4 ( SGH-I337) ATT model. My end goal was to have it rooted with CM 11 installed on it. This is only the second phone I have attempted to root ( First was Atrix HD which went overall fine). I'm basing my end goal off of it, in that I am wanting to have it rooted with CM 11 installed. I started off by downloading Odin and used towel and was able to get the phone rooted. That seemed to have gone without too many problems. I tried to do as much reading as I could, but I'm sure I either misread or overlooked where I went wrong next. I then installed TWRP in the hopes of getting CM 11 installed. This is where the problems start. After installing TWRP ( later reading I saw I probably should have used Philz soft touch??) and restarting my phone it would only go into " Download Mode" and would forever just sit there. I did some searching and saw how to get past this simply by just restarting and holding the volume up and selecting now that I did not want to enter into Download mode. Of course Odin will not recognize the phone in this state to try to push any kind of firmware or boot-loader to it. At this point I truley am clueless and lost. Tl,dr sure looks like a book to me. If you just got an s4 I'm sure the bootloader can't be exploited and you can't use cm. Look through this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53758227

Thanks for the link. Very helpful info. Problem I can't seem to get around is that since any ROM i download will not pass the signature inside the recovery mode, I don't know how to get to where I can flash any kind of ROM to it. Yes sorry for the book, I just see too often people don't ever post enough info on what they have or what they have done. In essence how do i use Odin if i can't get into download mode and recovery mode will not accept any file cause it says it fails the md5 signature? Thanks for the help

I don't want to give you useless information, but make sure you're using the right steps to get into download mode.
1) Power off your device
2) Remove battery for 10 seconds
3) Replace battery
4) Hold POWER + HOME + VOLUME DOWN until you see the "Warning" Screen
5) Quickly hit the VOLUME UP button.
Then you can connect to ODIN, and go from there.
I am looking to remove the Google account from a Samsung Galaxy On5 MetroPCS SM-G550T1. The phone has Marshmallow 6.0.1 . The FRP is on download mode. I already tried modem flash but the phone is still asking for the account. I also tried a couple bypass methods but the security patch does not allow any internet access. Any ideas guys?

SOLVED:
Update, Hey guys, I found the solution for this problem. Here is the step by step proccess:
01. You need to download the "RealTerm" program and install it in your computer (Thanks Root Junky for the links) : http://rootjunkysdl.com/files/?dir=Apps/FRP.
02. Go to phone. You need to have a SIM in your phone for this process to work for the ORIGINAL CARRIER of the phone.
03. Go to your setup screen and connect to WIFI.
05. Using a USB cable, connect your phone to your computer. Make sure that your computer is reconizing your phone by instaling the last Samsung drivers available (http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads)
06. Once the phone is reconized by the computer and USB connected, we need to find out in what USB port your phone is connected to. To do that, you need to go you "Device Manager" in your computer. Click on "Modems". Then click on "SAMSUNG Mobile USB". On that screen, open the "Modem Tab". The first thing that you will find is: "PORT: COM09" (COM09 is in example, your phone could be connected to another port like COM41, COM39, and so on).
07. Now that we know our USB port number, open your RealTerm program. In the Realterm "Display" tab, make sure to check the "HALF DUPLEX" box.
08. Then, click on the "PORT" tab. Now, here we are going to enter the port number that our phone is without the COM in the Port box (For Example, COM43 = 43). The click on the "OPEN" button next to it.
09. Go to the "SEND" tab. In the first box, type the following command: at+creg?\r\n and click on "SEND NUMBERS"
10. Then, in the same box, type: atd1234;\r\n and also click "SEND NUMBERS". At this step, you need to look at the phone screen because the dealer is going to try to dial "1234". If not, keep sending the atd1234;\r\n commands.
11. When the dialer shows up, end the call and immediately click on the "MESSAGE" button. The phone is going to go to SMS to send a message to the "1234" number that the phone tried to dial. Send this 1234 number "YOUTUBE.COM" message. Send it. After the message is sent to this number, the words "Youtube.com" would became a blue internet link, click on it. The browser is going to go to Youtube. After you are in YouTube, click on the 3 dots at the upper right hand side of the screen. Click on "Settings", then click "About", then "GOOGLE Privacy Policy". the phone will ask you to choose an internet browser. Use the "Internet Browser"
12. When you are in the browser, again go to " http://rootjunkysdl.com/files/?dir=Apps/FRP " (Thanks Root Junky for the Links) and download "com.rootjunky.frpbypass-1.0.apk".
13. Then, go on Google.com and search for "Samsung App Store" : http://www.samsung.com/levant/apps/mobile/galaxyapps/ . Click on the "App Store" button. The Samsung is going to open and ask you to sign in. You would have to either create an account or use your existing Samsung account. Do not worry, you would get to remove it later.
14. Once you are at the Samsung account, search for "ES FILE Explorer" and install it in your phone. Once, it is installed, open the app. The app will allow you to go to the "Download" folder of your phone. There you will find the "com.rootjunky.frpbypass-1.0.apk" that you previously downloaded. Open and Install the "com.rootjunky.frpbypass-1.0.apk". The App will send you to the "Google Sign In" windows. DO NOT SING IN. Click on the three dots at the upper right hand side of the screen and click on "BROWSER SIGN IN". Then a new Google browser sign in screen will appear. Yes, you can Sign in there with your existing Google account (Again, do not worry, you can remove it later). Once you are signed in, you need to restart your phone.
15. Follow the setup instructions. The phone is not going to ask you for the Google account because you already entered.
16. Once at the home screen, click on 'Settings". Then go to "Accounts” and click on the "Samsung Account", click on "Remove Account". The phone is going to ask you for a confirmation to enter your password. Enter it and click on Remove. Go back and click on your "Google Account". Click on "Remove Account".
17. Go back to settings, and then click on "BACKUP AND RESET". Then click on "FACTORY DATA RESET". Then "RESET DEVICE". The phone will factory reset and the FRP will be removed.
DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK ON THE THANKS BUTTON

After facing the same problem for better than a week and even purchasing a replacement phone I have bypassed the FRP/Custom Binary Lock for the sm-g550t1.
1.) Start by using Odin 3.10.7
2.) After install, along with Samsung drivers, and the like, Fire Odin up and go ahead and place your phone into Download Mode (Vol up + home button + power) but wait to insert your USB until we've got Odin ready to rock.
3.) First we'll be going to the options tab and checking the box labeled "Nand Erase All". YES THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GOING TO TAKE THE PHONE BACK TO STOCK. Beats the hell out of having a paperweight just lying around though doesn't it...
4.) Without checking any boxes on main console, Apply each one of the files listed into their designated slot. (ex.. AP=ap BL=bl... just try not to be a boob is all..)
5.) Download and unzip the attached package to whatever location you can remember.
6.) One at a time, click the appropriate buttons to insert the file (MAKE SURE NONE OF THE WHITE CHECK BOXES ARE HIGHLIGHTED OR YOU'LL SCREW YOURSELF UP AND HAVE TO START OVER)
7.) Once all appropriate files are in correct locations, and the correct options are set; Highlight/Check ALL white boxes, it'll take a second for the md5's to clear.
8.) If you think you're set go ahead and hit the start button. This process takes between 2-8 mins depending on variables involved beyond my control.
9.) After all files have been transferred the On5 will reboot automatically. It will require you login to whatever Google account you had on there to begin with.

The link works. I downloaded the stock firmware and followed all the steps. However, the Google lock is still there.

The FRP is still on. I can still go to the Google account set up page on the phone. I thought that I could remove the Google account by using these files. But I now understand that these files are only usefull if the phone is "custom bianary lock FRP".
Turn oem unlock on. That will do it.

I also tried this but the phone needs to be rooted for this to work You can not root this phone because the FRP lock does not allow it

On a previous post I mentioned steps required to unlock FRP from the g550t1. There has been some confusion as to the results.
My phone, when FRP was engaged, wouldn't even boot. I'd get maybe 2.5sec before complete shutdown.(no recovery, no loading what so ever..) The steps I provided did not remove the lock, that required alot of patience and, quite frankly, a lot of smashing my head into my desk until something useful came out. I'll build on my previous post with the steps I TOOK THAT WORKED FOR ME. This is in no way a guarantee, promise, or anything of the sort that it'll work as it did for me...
so no whining if you can't figure it out...
Maybe you should have researched more before attempting to modify your device...
I'm just saying..
log into your google account-from diff device
remove locked device from connected devices section
activate sign-out from all accounts
change your Google password
make sure the 2-step verification is off as well as the sign-in with device option
boot device
login/activate account with new password
follow setup instructions on-screen
activate developer options menu
turn on OEM Unlock (and leave it ON PERMANENTLY) without it, you are asking to be bricked and hit with another FRP lock.
continue in any manner you choose

I really appreciate your help. I kept the firmware files in case of an emergency. I bought this phone online and it is actually Google locked. I do not know the Account or the password. Again, I appreciate your help. Thanks man!
So let me get this straight. You cant even flash new rom with odin because it wont let you, says frp protect, and it has the stock recovery, correct?
It wont let you use wifi? It seems lile it has to let you use wifi, how else is it going to confirm your account? Make sure it doesnt conect to wifi. There is another way besides what I have said here but it requires wifi.
Its a low tech hack (I love those).

The stock firmware I can reflash it. I can not install a custom recovery because the phone is FRP locked. Yes, i get access to WIFI. I have tried many bypasses but this Marshmallow firmware has all the security patches updated. But i will appreciate any suggestions.
I am running G550T1UVU1APF1. I was wondering what would happen if I could downgrade to G550T1UVU1APED. Does anybody have this G550T1UVU1APED firmware file?

This is for metropcs on5 apparently but I saw on other forums it is also for s7. s G550T1UVU1APED firmware file is what I need though for my frp lock phone so I would appreciate if you could link me to where I can download sG550T1UVU1APED firmware files pls?

Hi. your phone was flashed without you flashing the AP file? What is the AP file anyway? IT is the largest file on the custom rom I have. I also still have the google verify I can't bypass.
But I want to try to flash again like on your pictures: just flash without the AP file. Will it brick my phone?
Just want to make sure coz I'd rather have a google verify lock than a logo screen FRP lock.

I forgot the PIN lock of my SM-G360F LTE (with Android 4.4.4), and I would like to keep all my files & documents inside it.
I don't have USB Debug enabled and I don't have a Samsung Account, so there's no easy way I can connect the phone to a computer.
What can I do to save my datas?
I've already tried flashing a Custom Recovery with Odin, but I haven't found a compatible one.
Please, give me an advice on what I should do.

It doesn't work (or I'm missing something) just because I can't unlock my screen lock to install the APK.
If I'm missing something, please tell me.
What I'm looking for is a way to enable USB Debug mode without unlocking the screen (something like a Custom Recovery mode).
Read the entire post including he comments cuz that link I posted is a step by step guide to unlocking the phone. If the phone has not been factory reset yet then do that first so it causes the phone to go to the Google email verification page then follow the in the link step by step and you will have the phone unlocked. What you are doing with this guide is making a custom path to the settings menu for the phone enabling you to do a factory reset from the backup/reset setting. By doing so you will remove the link to any and all accounts that have been uses on the phone this making the device start just as it would had you bought it from the store and was doing the initial setup. Let me know if you get stick anywhere or need help

But if I factory reset my phone, I will lose all my data, which I don't want to. Or via this "Backup/Reset" setting am I keeping my data?

You will lose your data as this is the master factory reset but you can back up everything while in this menu to your Google account. After you factory reset go through the initial setup and come back to this menu and restore from your Google account

Works great and doesn't require root to get it done. I know it is a lil different from what I mentioned earlier but I totally spaced this method until earlier today. Hope this helps you.
Man, my main problem is I can't enable USB debugging, having the screen locked! So I can't use any ADB method.
As far as I know there is no other way to backup your data without using adb methods without a custom recovery. Have you tried flashing twrp for your device and doing a full nandroid that way? I know that twrp has a compatible version for your device. Just search the forums here for you specific device model and flash using Odin 3.10
Here is the link to the twrp website go here to make sure you model is supported then download the tar.md5 file for tour device and flash using odin. Make sure to Uninstaller lies from your pc to avoid any issues with odin

Are you using the hardware keys to boot to recovery (volume up+home+Power buttons)? If you try to boot to recovery from any other method it will cause a recovery loop. It's a known issue with all variants of this divice. It's gonna show the "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" but it will go into recovery.
Of course, I'm using Home+VolUp+Power.
Im out of ideas outside of trying to flash twrp again through Odin

You can just try reflashing the stock firmware for your region in the AP slot of Odin from here.

Yes. In fact, if you've tripped factory reset protection (FRP), it is the only way to fix it. Here's an example of where this worked for someone else. Read my comment here:

I understand that that guide has helped people and that's a good thing for sure. It's just that it's really the absolute most difficult way to fix a device that's under an FRP lock, as it's many steps rather than just the one step of flashing the stock firmware.

Ok guys, new here and I've done a bit of reading on this already. From what I gather, the S7 Edge is difficult if not impossible to unlock without a factory reset. Here's the issue.
This phone belongs to my friend's husband who was severely injured in an accident at work. He's in a coma and probably won't survive. He was severely burned over 90% of his body with chemicals and he has no fingerprints to unlock the fingerprint scanner. In addition, his wife doesn't know his password, so I figured I'd see if I could do anything for her. I tried the Dr. Fone program, but it's apparently incompatible with the S7 Edge. He keeps getting texts and messages and we can't check them. The phone is also set for a daily alarm at 1:30 AM, and apparently you can't power it down without the lock code either. Ideally, I'd like to either gain access for her or at least extract what data we can from the thing before factory resetting it. It would also be nice to power it down so that it doesn't keep putting out an alarm every night in the middle of the night. All his contacts with his family are inconveniently stored in the phone as well. It's kind of a worst case scenario.
Any assistance or recommendations for a course of action for this situation would be fantastic. I don't have any other information on the device itself other than that it's running on Freedom Mobile's network in Ontario, Canada. They've said they can factory reset it for her, but we were trying to avoid that and get any contacts or messages from his phone if possible.

Edit: I managed to power down the phone with the Power Button/Volume Down trick after about 9 tries, so at least the alarm won't go off. Other than that, no luck.

Anyways I am assuming its a completely stock phone with USB debugging turned off. Hope its not carrier locked, if yes then here are the steps:
1. Flash Custom Recovery on the Phone using Odin
2. Use aroma file manager from the Recovery, you need to download it separately, put it on its SD card.
3. Now using aroma file manager navigate to Data Folder and then; System Folder and find “gesture.key” or “password.key” for pattern lock or password lock respectively.
4. Delete those any password related file and reboot. It should be unlocked now.

I'm pretty new to this type of mod and I don't want to brick the phone, I know it's a risk. I'm looking at faqs on theandroidsoul and the cyanogenmods forum which seem quite thorough. Apparently I can't post the links as I'm a new user here....seems fair I suppose, especially considering the forum content.
My friend's husband didn't have a microSD card in (just checked), but I can toss a spare one of mine in for Aroma, which I found. I probably need for format it for FAT32, not NTFS though? Is there any way to tell if it's carrier locked? It's from a small phone company, not one of the bigger guys. I'm going to wait until I hear back to get started on this, as I'm decent with Windows based systems, but unfamiliar with the nuances of modding Android. I use a stock Sony XZ Premium myself.

Use odin 3.13 the latest
Then download twrp recovery 3.2.2.0 tar file for hero2lte the latest.
Boot your phone into odin mode by restarting your phone while holding power home button and vol down. When your reach the confirmation screen press OK.
Open odin and put the tar file in the ap slot and click the ap box and hit start to begin flashing.
Now restart ur phone by holding power home and vol down then immediately hold power home vol up to reach custom recovery.
Edit I just tested this myself
Flash the zip file from this thread no need to go looking for files in system.

Should remove password pin or pattern.
To check if it's network locked just look at the back of your phone if it says 935u or Verizon wireless or 935W8 then the phone is unlocked for different networks.

Just look at back of your phone and tell me its model, Like G935F. I will give you the correct recovery file. And recoveries have option to enable storage too so you can access data from computer. But to be honest it never worked for me. You could also give it a try before doing other steps.
You could contact on PM, or even better I could also help you over whatsapp if you wish.
And I never heard that you could brick phone by flashing recovery, maybe only if you flash incorrectly. A bad recovery will make recovery useless, but phone would still boot. Thats my experience.
I have broken password before of a Mediatek device. If you want I could try it on my own S7 Edge too to be 100% sure.

Hey alright no problem.
Download TWRP for G935W8 from official TWRP website:

You can follow some instructions from this thread regarding flashing:

Flashing TWRP might cause your phone to not boot. You will need to download dm-verity disabler from the thread above.
So download TWRP, Aroma file manager, dm-verity bypass, and zip file to disable pass that the other user posted: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2780696
Download all these files and put aroma file manager, dm-verity bypass and that password zip file bypass on your SD.
Make sure auto reboot is disabled in odin, follow instruction in thread about how to install twrp. If the auto reboot is disabled, phone will just remain at the same screen, so after the flashing is done from odin. You need to force reboot on your phone (volume down + power button for few seconds), just when the screen goes off, you need to immediately press recovery button combination (vol up + home + power). Here once you enter TWRP recovery see if you can enable MTP and trasnfer data to PC, if not, goto install zip and try password bypass zip file. If it works file then ok and proceed to install dm-verity bypass file and reboot your phone. If that zip doesn't works. You need to go to same install zip file option and now install aroma file manager. From there delete the password files that I told you about earlier, flash dm-verity and reboot again.
Thats it, if get confused about a step, tell me.
Well, I attempted to install TWRP through the latest version of Odin, but it didn't work. The error message I got in Recovery/Download mode was:
"Custom Binary (RECOVERY) Blocked By FRP Lock."
I looked that up online and apparently to install TWRP, I need to remove the FRP lock. I found a program called RealTerm which can supposedly bypass the FRP lock, but it doesn't seem to be connecting to the locked phone and it's not exactly user friendly.
Am I missing something here? Or is there no way to bypass the FRP lock on the unit?
