If I read posts from Cyanogen correctly, there should be a nandroid of the original stock firmware of the Nexus One (there is no one's info in this backup)
Just put the folder in the root and run a nandroid restore

Nexus 4 update help

I have data on the device and tried the OTA 4.4.2 update which failed to complete. I was getting boots loops.
Is there any way I can keep the data and update it to 4.4.2 myself manually.
Many thanks
Are you able to make a nandroid backup before trying other methods to flash 4.4?

Cheers for the assistance, I'm not rooted and the bootloader is locked so not sure, any ideas on what I can do?
Thanks
If you want to install a custom rom, unlocking the bootloader will reset the phone so don't do that yet.
You can try this to unlock the bootloader and install a custom recovery. Once the custom recovery is installed, you can create a nandroid backup.

questions I have about updating and the bootloader lock image

Hello everyone. I have some questions. First, to install an ota do we have to lock our bootloaders fully to install the update or do we need to restore a completely stock backup with the stock boot/recovery and does anyone know if the bl lock img we backed up in the unofficial unlock method is device specific because my computer crashed and I lost the file before I could back it up to my Google Drive.
If you are just interested in the latest build B29 and have TWRP installed then http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/rom-guide-updates-to-stock-files-via-t3469484
Will get you there I think.
I'm not sure what you are after but that thread saved me from a sticky situation.

I'm sorry, I completely forgot about the fact that you responded. The file I'm looking for is the bootloader lock img that you get with the unofficial unlock method that tells your phone it was never unlocked.

Question about TWRP

Hellol
I hope I'm posting in the correct place. I have a rooted Lg V20 VS 995 which I found out has a blacklisted imei so am exchanging for another device same model with a good imei. I have the first device exactly how I want it, rooted, custom Resurrection Remix rom and have a good TWRP backup on PC. if I use the Rooted TWRP PC backup as a restore will it make the new device a duplicate of the old one, rooted and all? I'm trying to save $40 on paying for another root. I don't know how to root myself, but I can install TWRP I think, and restore if that would work.
Thank you, Barry

if you do a twrp restore, only restore data and system. I repeat do not restore EFS! this will brick the efs structure that contains the imei etc.
So yes you can use ur old backup. but do not restore the efs as it will brick the protected folders ur serial etc hides.
Root isn't hard. Dont pay 40$, just check out the thread on how to root the VS995, the process to get twrp IS ROOTING it really, once its got twrp you just flash a rooted rom and bennifit. The hardest part is unlocking the bootloader and getting twrp, the rest is just wiping data and installing a zip.
you can do it bro!

OnePlus 5 Bricked. NEED FULL NANDROID STOCK Recovery

Hi
Does anyone have a full NANDROID Original Stock of a OnePlus 5? And will a full backup restore help lock the bootloader or needs to be in Manual Mode?
My phone was bought in UK. It's Stock Recovery and Oxygen OS 4.5.3 but can't flash the bootloader to oem LOCK.
Due to warranty issues since i'm giving my phone member i need to re-stock it.
Please Help.
How did you brick it? Can you get into fastboot? Can you get into recovery?

Unlocking the bootloader does not void your warranty with OnePlus phones.
Also, even if anyone had a nandroid backup at the moment, restoring /data using TWRP will cause bootloops. As long as you can get into fastboot/bootloader mode, you can safely flash stock recovery and then flash the full stock ZIP provided by OnePlus.

Why does restoring data gives you bootloops?
I have this problem now and canĀ“t figure out why does restoring nandroid wont work
Download the full original firmware from oneplus site, flash via adb, it will works don't worry
