I've been searching a way without xposed without any luck. This is the most annoying thing about a phone that there is!

How often does it happen? I have it too but I haven't seen the message pop up in nearly a week. Saying that I haven't rebooted in that amount of time either.

I definately don't have that setting anywhere. You're probably on the US, right? Must be our stupid EU regulations.

What csc do you use?

His device is Snapdragon right? American carrier? Settings will be different.

I can't find it either. I got so excited for a second. What sound setting has the 3 dots that you have to click?

You have to select "Volume" and then you will see the 3 dot menu.

I don't have it on BTU official... (3 dots menu)

Guess I wasn't clear:
Settings>Sounds And Vibration>Volume
3 dot menu
Media volume limiter
This is on official T-Mobile Nougat

On my g935f on dqb7 latest doesn't have option but my wife's sd820 with official att new 7.0 update has it

Is the volume warning still there? I am not on this phone right now but thinking about getting the S8 but if this warning is still there I won't consider it.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Its an EU Directive that all audio devices with headphones must have a limit of 85dB with a visual override allowed to increase this to 100dB. Thus means if you have no screen then its stuck at 85dB. I cant name the actual directive but here is a BBC link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-21294537
This is the reason why the setting isnt available in the EU as this prompt MUST be made under the regulations. They did allow some leeway though by saying this prompt is only required once per reboot. I have my phone auto-reboot once a week so i only have to accept the prompt once on a Monday morning and i never see it again for a week
If you have root theres probably a system file you could modify on reboot to pretend you have already confirmed the prompt but i dont know where you could start for that.
Also, maybe you could use tasker to set the volume high and then confirm the prompt for you on reboot. I dont know enough about tasker to do this personally but automation is the whole purpose of the app so im sure its possible.

It has to be if you live in the EU. Its part of EU law. If your in the UK like me, even though we are leaving the EU, this is one of those laws which im sure the UK will keep so don't expect it disappear anytime soon

S7 Edge FRP Bypass (with video) restore nearly all functions of your phone.

works every time.
remember the first time you do this you have to stay on the wifi screen for at least 1 hour for it to work.
once you have bypassed this once you never have to wait on subsequent reboots and all your settings and history are saved.

Some people forget about this security feature and factory reset their phones from recovery without turning off FRP. I have it turned off all the time to avoid me making the same mistake.

Correct but I believe there is a 3 day wait until you can log back in.
However, a lot of the time people buy second hand phones and the seller has not signed out, making this the only remaining option.
This literally makes it pointless to have this security as it can be bypassed anyway, this is why I don't bother having it on in the first place.

Ah, I see. I would just wait instead of having to use this hacky workaround that barely works but some might need to be able to be contacted 24/7.
That's why you always, always, ALWAYS go through the phone when buying it off Craigslist or something.

Are there any reasons to hold off on taking the latest update?

Just in terms of eventual root, or something. It's not going to make much of a difference, or anything?
I'm on 6.O.1 - G930PVPU1APB5
Update G930PVPU2APD3
Its just that I notice it includes "security improvements," and that after updating, "returning to the previous version will be impossible. "
If your battery life is good right now, I wouldn't take the update. Sprint ****ed up the battery life on the GS7E with the pd3 update. I wish I had never updated my phone. I went from 7 to 8 hrs SOT down to 4 to 5 hrs after the update. It is caused by a GPS bug.

I noticed with the newest update notification tones are significantly louder while using headphones and are unaffected by the sound level settings.
Edit: Also, notifications on lock screen auto-clearing upon turning phone screen on.

I wish. I accidentally took mine a few days ago. Was walking through LA at night, pulled my phone out to check directions, and it was 10% deep into it. I was so pissed, and it was like an hour before I could use my phone again.
Thanks. This works, well worth the buck.

The screen of my device very sensitive. Is there a solution?

Hello, everyone.
The screen of my device very sensitive... It's annoying :/
I see Samsung advertise more and more updates version, But they don't do repair this problem.
I know a lot of people suffer from the problem.
Is there a solution? Thank you very much.

I can't even get the phone out of my pocket to answer phone calls!! By the time I get the phone out of pocket it has already managed to cancel our drop the call.
I don't like or want a phone case as the main reason I purchased this S7 EDGE was for its looks.

There isn't much you can do to tone down the sensitivity of the screen. The only thing I can think of is getting some sort of thick plastic screen protector.

Yeah, definitely going to take me a few days. Came from Droid Turbo and 5.1.
Cool on the update, I figure unless there's some functionality broken out of the box, no need to take it until someone can tell us what it is.
I'm getting constant nag notifications for this. I turned off notifications for updates and it just sits in the notification drawer.
Anyone know how to permanently not take updates so I'm not bothered?

WELCOME TO VERIZON,talk about a double-edged sword:
Great coverage & network (YMMV of course),but, man the rest of their practices, not to mentionusing the bastard CDMA technology,is more than anyone should have to tolerate, especially when no real viable options are available.
Can you not disable VZW's bloatware (VZW apps)?
At minimum,I'd disable DT Ignite, not sure if that will help in the nagging, but,it's one less crapware app needlessly running on your phone..............

I came from a Note 4 and then S7E to the V20. AMOLED has such a tremendous saturation of colors that no LCD will ever be able to compete on that front. But, the brightness level and clarity is about the same. But it has taken me a few days to get back to accepting this as the new norm. Everytime I load CoC I think something is wrong until I remember I'm on a new device.
I took the update. I think it got rid of app pinning in recents.

The IMEI is a unique identifier for your phone,no two phones will have the same IMEI,regardless of carrier &/or model:

If you're asking how to find your IMEI,look in SETTINGS > ABOUT PHONE > STATUS

First off said my carrier did not support this feature. I followed the instructions and it said setting up, when i went back out a blue screen with register my phone number came up and sent me a sms code. I went back in and its working great.
Now how do you work it.?
It's works just relax when your enter your number change to uk county code so USA is usually 1 than the number enter 44 than go back to that and out the otp pattern to that than just close app and open and should be connected.

Had another successful test with RCS. One thing we saw....the real time typing indicator is gone. There was an update last night (v 5.3.073) so perhaps there is a bug. I reported it to Google, so we'll see. Otherwise, it works pretty good.
