I have recently bought the xperia SP and would like to request the xda moderators to please come up with a new forum for this device so that developers can start developing for it. No device is fun without custom ROMS to play with . So I would again like to request the moderators as well as the developers to look into this device. Thank you.
My Xperia SP is scheduled to arrive next week and I too would like to see a forum for this device. Please let me know how I can help further with this in any way!

There maybe only 2 or 3 developers working on this device but they have already ported some 10 Roms for this device.
Not mentioning the 3 kernels.

No one posting, Not much Devs to answer or make the ROM, the forum has become really silent..!! I am a user who visits this website regularly and almost 10-15 times to see something new...but unfortunately disappointed..!!

I dunno, I'm looking at the Dev forum for us and as I type this there's fourteen ROMs on the first page alone with most of their threads having pretty recent replies too. And the devs appear to be answering as well.
I think we got it pretty good.
What are you wanting to see that's new?

LOL i had asked a question and it was not answered in the ROM thread...not by the devs, also i saw 2-3 ppl posting their problems..still no replies from devs or OP...I can understand they busy LOL but I am finding it like LONELY

Ah I see. Hopefully someone will answer you (I don't have your answer or I would have).
Although I don't mind the population here, our phone also isn't being offered by any of the American carriers except for Verizon which has the Droid Maxx 2 (a Play that's Verizon-branded). I don't think they allow bootloader unlocking (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) so not going to be much interest from them.

Proper developers reply once in a blue moon to problems in general thread as most of the problems can be solved by users possessing a bit higher knowledge.
Developers are mainly concerned with the development of Roms and I am totally ok with it if they don't reply to normal queries of forum.

Xperia Z still has people sticking to stock based roms, not enough customization. o development for MM... while the device is about 3 years old and this one is not even a year old.

I agree even if the device is 3 yrs old DUDE..!! there are ROMS getting updated specially niaboc79's ROM, Rajeev, etc, CM, PAC, AOSP, all are updated still..!!
Recently I updated my xperia Z with niaboc79 rom

LOL..can you explain a bit of " PROPER DEVELOPERS " plz? everyone who made the ROMs like CM12, CM13, RR, are devs definitely and am sure they are trying harder to update..and get less bugs..but i dont see them replying as well for a fact, It's been quite sometime no dev has updated with their latest version of ROM.

Nope, nothing but happy at the moment.
Phone is now what it should have been at launch, fast, not laggy, camera launches fast from lock screen. Fingerprint sensor works much better
Though maybe it just seemed/felt that way so I downloaded Antutu and got 88945, was lucky with the phone same apps etc installed to get 70000
I don't have mm yet. Can I please not complain as I do like my phone as it is? I know there's some bugs and **** and camera controls are still a far cry from my 3yo dslr but I simply don't care and enjoy my lollipop z5.

Just check the thread now! It will be under moderation because the guy who replied to the query was not having any idea of Android Nougat update for Kenzo, he is an intern mod (new recruitment) So please don't post further regarding Android N update, as I told in several threads and forums, if Kenzo gets Android N I will be updating it here as soon as possible. No moderator can know anything about MIUI. I bet half the moderators are hired by posting "thanks" "good posts" "very good posts" and spam like that. Simply ignore.

Yeah I am agreeing your view in a partial manner but there are some good moderators also who work really hard to bring a lot of useful things to the end user, there is beta and alpha programs which are purely managed by mods in which you can find lot of new additions and bug fixes. Those mods won't post frequently and you won't see them active in forum but they all are in touch with devs and beta/alpha team members. Myself I retired from the mod position due to the lack of time for posting useful stuffs rather than posting "Thank you" or Answering queries to some stupid users who never change. But still I can find some good mods like @Muz_paray, @feds64, @veerasuri etc who really work hard for the betterment.

I created Miui forum ac to get official unlock permission. It's a shame that to check the tutorials, you have to reply with a spam "thank you" post. Is this 2000? Mi need members to spam the forum? I can go on with these things but it's waste of time. Everyone is this world knows how good is Mi forum. Check Xiaomi reddit if you need some good laugh, people make fun of the posts including me (can't hide it). Whenever I'm bored and have nothing..I mean nothing else to do in my life, instead of checking jokes or memes I visit Mi forum.

FYI: I did joined the beta team for fun to see how the beta team actually works. It was more funny than I imagined. You have to sign up with qq to discuss the bugs. Jokes apart what the beta team members do? Hw 2 flsh rems? haaalp me unlaackk boatlders, volte dooontntntnt weeerk.
Seriously, Mi hire such fools to do beta test? Probably, that's why MIUI can never be a stable OS. I also know this veerasuri super moderator, had a wonderful chat with him and asked him to remove me from the beta group. What was his response? I can't tell you else he will think I'm a bit offensive here but it was fun too.
I'm glad we have xda else people would've died checking Mi forums. As I said, I respect you for what you did, only cause of you (unofficial unlock recovery method or something I dont remember now) I managed to survive with a Mi phone else it would've been sold within a month. That's my love towards MIUI OS. Nothing against the moderators, even I was a moderator here at xda, got busy with life so retired but I can understand the moderator's pain.

You're right. I did a quick search and there's no Roms for your device at the moment.

Update after 15 days use: Processor is piece of ****... Even deca and blah blah...all my games frame freezes and heats.....not for heavy gamers... For normal usage, it really kills rn 4
