Is it any app that I can use to download Huawei themes to my P9?
I have done it manually from here but people are talking about some kinda hub/App

Hi guys,
I want to download the "XDA Free App" as an apk file and I found this site http://www.xda-developers.com/xda-android-app/ but that's not what I want. Normaly I downloaded my apps from some developers websites and not from the playstore. Is there a place here on xda-developers.com where I can download the app?

try googleing "xda free app apk"? what you find might not be legal but its on you to use what you like
why you don't use XDA app from Google play ?, it's free, fast and clean.

This or download Opera Mobiile and add xda as favorite is fast and easy
Or do you want to download apps as apk? If this you want you can run APK manager it convert any application to apk file so you can install later...

yes that's what I mean. I want to download the xda.apk for a later install.
I use some other apps (e.g. cgeo, vlc, oruxmaps, geocachecalculator, k9mail, osmand) on my u8800 and on all these websites there is an opinion for download the apk directly.

Install real apk leecher on your pc, then search and download the apk. This program can download to your pc all the available apps on the market for you phone/region.

Some how managed to extract Huawei Honor p9 themes and this can e shared - tested on various Honor Devices.

To use these on the Honor 5x just make a folder called themes in the internal storage and copy all the themes their, open the themes app and their they are.
Put into hwthemes.folder

Just easy - Temp root - Stock backup/ Fastboot - Run phone on PC as board sting - loader - extract each specified along with the emulator as kid's way !

There is a simplier way I found. You need root explorer but root is not necessary because you are only going to copy files. Go to system/themes and copy to any folder you can access from computer or in Files app

try scan folders G1076 g104, G1064 g104, G1301 g104, G1124 g104, that's all known folders for your device

ML Manager:APK Extractor can't export themes I think (I have the app and I don't see any themes in the list).
Maybe try with Titanium backup, I can see the themes with this app :good:

I am able to extract THEMES app and Thw center in S8+ Android 9.
But how do get the Theme file to make edits in it?

What exactly do you want to edit?
To be "EXACT" i just wanna change some colors in quick panel. Btw i can change it only in the last version of a custom theme i had created but not in the 2nd last or any other i had created before.
See the screenshots of THEME PARK app (THEME PARK is module for HOME UP).
I have been using home up module in s8+ . I had created n saved some themes but wanna make small changes in them. So with themes park module how can i edit n export my old creations( themes)?

Ok i will try Titanium backup but still don't know much about it. Can u guide me how to Extract theme from my phone to Titanium backup apk and then export it?

If you want to mod the script then unpack the zip file and then add or delete some lines in the updater-script with Notepad++

Technically you can, but there is little point in not having root & having TWRP & you need TWRP to flash this.

Sorry i dont know.....
I made this script for my P9 L09 b182 firmware (Marshmallow).
I would make a backup to be sure before trying this.
And yes..... Install with twrp.
Let me know if it works

It didn't seem to work. The script runs but for example Gmail and YouTube were not removed. But something strange is going on. Because twrp can't backup the data partition. Don't know why, it's starts the backup but after a second or two is stops with an error (forgot which error number). I guess the problem behind that is the same reason why de debloat script doesn't work. But ok, it's on a p9 lite not a P9. But just to let you know.
