I have build bliss6.3 (M 6.0.1) for Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon variant. I have the device but unfortunately it is not with me right now and I will get it after 4-5 days. So, any one would like to test the build first time for a feedback about what is working and what is not working and other bugs, commant here.

Hey guys with MIUI 8 rolling out this friday how many of us like me are curious for MIUI 8 on SM N9005?
i am right now on MIUI V7 Note 3 N-9005 v 6.5-20 modded by ENIAC & Atrankas. and am simply loving it.
Guess who is the first one to port MIUI 8 to Note 3 Samsung,
Fingers crossed. checking every hour on goolge whether anyone has ported yet?

MIUI is much more practical than FLYME.
I bet you will never go back to fltme after using MIUI 8.

As far as I know, the source code for porting MIUI 8 isn't available yet. (As of 19/08)
You will have to wait for it to be released then for someone to port it. So there won't be a Miui 8 rom for the Note 3 before a long time I think.
Is it not possible that miui themselves port them?

Miui belongs to Xiaomi and I don't see why Xiaomi would bother to make an official port for the note 3...
I am not sure Xiaomi ever made an official port for a non Xiaomi device (?). All the existing port on xda and miui'so forum are made by the community.
Anyway the Note 3 is quite old now and Xiaomi has no point in porting MIUI 8 to such an old device...
Is there an miui rom for note 3 (N9005) that's based on lollipop or marshmallow? if yes than can anyone share the links with me.... Thanks

Unfortunately there isn't any because the patchrom is still kitkat based. Hope MIUI 8 patchrom (if there will be any) would base on mm or better nougat, at this point.

I was using MIUI7 for a day, but I always had trouble swiping notifications away. I'd swipe right, but the notifications wouldn't go away. Only when I pressed down for a second before, then dragged did it swipe away. Do you experience it too?
I discovered this ROM the other day and I'm so happy with it, I thought I should share it here. LineageOS is the successor to CyanogenMod whose development ceased December 2016. Performance is flawless and battery life is excellent. I was experiencing battery drain issues running official CM14 and this ROM doesn't seem to have that problem.

It's not for normal Redmi 3
First official build nightly of Lineage OS for our devices probably will be available in about 8-10 hours.
Greetings from Czech Republic.. Finally up and running first official version of LOS on my Redmi 3.. Almost 40k in Antutu Benchmark.. Everything is smooth and really cool.. Just still don't know about battery life

So everything works well? I bought my sister a redmi 3 and MIUI looks good, but in comparism to my Nexus 5 and Nexus 5x the redmi is soo slow (launching google app, opening swiftkey).

Redmi 3S.
Pro/Prime is just a way to distinguish the 3GB variant from 2GB one.

Redmi 3 and Redmi 3 Pro have the same codename - ido. The rom can be used on both devices.
Check out the [OFFICIAL] LineageOS 14.1 | ido thread.
Redmi 3S, 3S Prime and 3X are different devices (hardware-wise) with the codename - land, and you cannot use the ido rom on them.

oh okey, thank you so much for those information, now i dont need to go to phone shop to repair my phone. i got wifi problem. all my device can connect to my wifi, but this xiaomi cant. maybe it's the rom. i will try it later.

NO the specs of both the phones are slightly different and their releases are different too.. They will not work. Devs have not mentioned also wheather the Rom is compatible for Redmi 4 Indian Variant.
Redmi 4 is quite a famous and good phone. We strongly need a separate thread for it. Requesting developers... Please.. eagerly waiting for it.
