This is an Unofficial builds for Xperia Tablet Z LTE/Wi-Fi.
About ROM
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.x (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
The source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

it means, your device doesn't allow bootloader unlock, so you can't install this ROM.

I tried NFS most wanted. A little old perhaps, but the graphics are improved compared to marshmallow, full of reflections, and it runs with no glitches...

Thanks a lot for this ROM @CaHbKaUp
This ROM is super smooth.. No lags.. Nougat on tablet is so awesome

After a clean installation of the last rom (nougat) I've noticed two problems. The first is the camera. It crashes randomly and I had to reboot the tablet, in order to bring it back to life. The second was the file manager that came with the rom. It does not show the files either on the internal or the external storage. I had to download and install fx from google to be able to see the files. After that I rolled back to rooted stock 5.1.1

Sorry, I cant reproduce it on build of 2016-11-08 even with full wipe.
Try my last update if you appreciate it.

@CaHbKaUp
First I want to thank you for your work. Sadly I did not have the time to test it yet.
Secondly it took me about a minute to find the new build in the second post. :silly: It would be nicer if you edited the first post.
And thirdly: Will this be always "unofficial" (read: private maintained) or will it become "official" (read: automatically build)?

I will definitely try it. Two additional problems with the November 8 rom that I did not mention in my previous message are: No FM radio and no IR blaster. Otherwise it is the best rom I have tested and I congratulate you for your work. I do not know if there is a way to fix these two things, but thank you anyway.....

Great TY @Deadman waiting AOSP 7.1.2 for T800 Good Luck :good:
Thank you. I been waiting for SM-T805.
thanks deadman. i appreciate all the variations in roms your giving us for the T700. have a good day
Having trouble getting Viper to work with this and the latest LD build. I'll see if I can figure it out, but I thought I would post in case anyone else has already had a solution. If I find it first, I'll post in both threads.
I really hope you could make it for T705 sir
I really love the pureness and simplicity of AOSP
Thanks for keeping this tablet alive. Installation went well. Same SD card problem so I'm now a set up as portable storage. MTP host FCs whenever SD card browsing is attempted.
Battery life seems to be same as MM.
Is this better/more stable than your ASOP 7.1.1 ROM?

I haven't seen a 7.1 AOSP ROM for the T700. Do you have a link?
Maybe should have said 'based on' AOSP. I think it said that in the description.
New build in OP
I have updated the kernel source to be lollipop based which includes lots of misc fixes and improvements
I have pulled parts of the M kernel source in (GPU driver, netfilter intercepter, wifi drivers)
Updated the GPU driver to the M based one
Changed to the LineageOS based liblights, powerhal, consumerir
Removed hwtest
misc other changes
Build pulled do to some reboot issues
HD Video works fine (does not stutter)
FYI. This ROM installed and runs great on my SM-T700. I did have to install SuperSU, Open GAPPS and Titanium Backup separately (install one at a time and reboot to system after each install) instead of stacking them. But no big deal.
The main thing I want to say is the HD video plays just fine and does not stutter as stated in the intro list of issues. I've tried it on MX Player, Google Play Movies & TV, DirecTV and Showtime Anytime. I did have problems with the prior ROM versions playing any video on some of those Apps.
Thanks Deadman

I was planning to update to the M gpu driver but it is causing issues for now.
Unfortunately, I seem to get a bootloop on dirty flash. Haven't got the time to try clean flash at the moment unfortunately. Not sure if it's a problem with me or the rom. Waited for about 10 minutes but still sitting on Google animation.

From the previous AOSP build by deadman from early March. I had, however, dirty flashed to that from the last build of the previous AOSP ROM from November, which didn't cause any problems.

Thanks. That's good to know. I'm on AOKP right now, but I still have the .zip from that earlier build. I'll try to test this tonight.

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Hi all,
I'm really sorry, I don't hang much around on XDA, I really should be updating these threads.
A few questions have been asked which I shall answer.
1. Does the 04/05 build fix switching off bug?
- Yes, it does. I'm sorry about the 28/04 build causing this issue - this was because I implemented EAS, and after testing, I thought the build was ready to go, however the bug never occurred on my end. I still don't know what caused the issue but the 4th May build switched to the Lyra 1.2 kernel which has EAS, made by me, which doesn't cause the deep sleep issue. (Thanks to my testers on Telegram for all the hard work and testing!)
2. Why is the front camera broken on some apps but not others/not working at all?
- The front camera was fixed in Instagram and WhatsApp on the 04/05 build, but if you still have issues on all apps, please install the newest global stable firmware. This is really important as developer betas do not work properly.
3. I have issues with sound, long boot time and sensors etcetc, your ROM is broken?
- No, you need to install the global stable firmwares (10.2.3.0/10.3.x.x and beyond). I cannot stress this enough. Soon if I find an adsp fix I'll fix all firmwares but Xiaomi really hacked something together.
4. My phone is showing "There's a problem with your phone, please contact the manufacturer" on boot. Did you break my phone?
- No, I didn't. I'm not sure why but after moving to custom kernels this message will appear. There is nothing wrong at all, and I believe I know the fix for it. I'll experiment after I'm done writing this message. Again, this causes no issues, do not stress about it.
5. Can you actually post changelogs?
- Yeah, I should. I'm very lazy/busy
6. Is it true you have exams soon?
- Yes, as of the time of writing, I have exams from the 13th May - 17th June. I'm in my last year of secondary school (being 16 in Year 11) and these are my GCSEs to go on to college. Builds will not have as many changelogs as I won't be able to dedicate much time.
A huge apology to my users out there that use my builds that were caught by the deep sleep freeze bug. I will work harder in the future to test and properly debug builds.
Thank you to everyone that still continues to use my builds. Feel free to message me on Telegram (@nysadev) or join our group. PM me for details.
Thank for this rom : I love aosip. I try tonight.
And good luck with your exams.

- Use analog dimming for the screen
- Use a default power level on the GPU of 5 (160MHz)
- Remove HUGE amounts of logging in binder (really helps in battery I think)
- Update CPU Input Boost and like actually disable the ****ty inbuilt one
- Add a new, interpolated energy model
- Update LMK (simple low memory killer)
- Boost RCU
- CPUIdle more inline with Wahoo
- Remove a lot of high priority workflags for actual queuing

1. Stocc (Q) vendor or OSS?
2. Any plans on making a A11 Fw build?
If you want to use stocc R sources check out MasterAwesome's LOS 8.1 trees and VishalCJ's Kernel soruces... I hope to switchto PE soon, but unfortunately I'm stuck with A11 firmware
All the best dev! And thanks for your work : )

Good rom, FM Radio is working , just a bug, LDAC bluetooth codec not working
full pro bhaiyaG
Will there be any official support for this phone? I see this is unofficial PE.
Best custom rom I ever used. The ui is fluid and fast. Also fingerprint works smoothly

Because in android 11 there is a zoom in and zoom out transition so the wallpapers are little bit cropped for the transition

Have you formatted data? Sorry forgot that in flashing instructions.
yes, you right its need formatted data, now its can flash, but jbl speaker is not working too, but thanks anyway...
how is the battery backup and multicore performance of this rom, i tried lineage os17.6. but it keeps disabling 2 cores automatically ,no matter which battery usage option i select. And battery drained over night (even with disabled lock screen features and ambient display ). overall its stuttery.
Resurrection remix 5.8.5 worked fine good battery life , good geekbench 5 score too.

I personally use this rom as a daily driver (without sim) and battery life is ok. It is a Moto Z after all. Geekbench 5 scores are 240 in Single and 600 for Multicore, but it fluctuates very much. I havent noticed heavy lag, seems usuable to me.
How's the mod support? Especially for battery mod, does it have efficiency or any way to stop charging from attached mod etc?
According to a tester battery mod works on Project Sakura, so it should theoretically work. I havent implemented smart charging, so it will charge on 100% if you dont use 3rd party apps to prevent that.

Thx, added to known issues...
Thank You SirRGB for your work building this and the Project Sakura rom.
I am currently using this one (crDroid) on my moto z and it works wonderfully. I am about to get my (internal) battery replaced in mine so i can actually start to use it again. Once I do get it replaced, hopefully by the end of the month I happily volounteer my time for testing or feedback.
Once again, great work and much appreciated!
A few things noticed so far.
Settings/About Phone/Modell = Pixel 5.
My bad, it does say "Moto Z", just reflashed. Something I did changed it
Dualsim functionality is working, i get signal and whatnot on both cards.
VoLTE might be working. Not getting the icon in the statusbar for it, but i do get the option to enable/disable "VoLTE Services" or how it is phrased in settings. Not getting that option for the simcard what is not VoLTE capable. It makes me belive it is "kind of working"? Havent been able to verify that it actually does work.
Also, not ROM related. But dualsim + sd card wont work. I tried my best but it just wont fit into the slot
I guess im bit spoiled now with my current Redmi 7 what does dualsim+sdcard hehe.

I think you installed a Magisk module that spoofs the Pixel 5, because I cant replicate this. Anyway, thank you very much for testing this rom, I will probably try to build it another time.
[APP][MOTO-MODS]Battery Mod Percentage + Efficiency Enhancer
Battery Mod Percentage + Efficiency Mode Enhancer this is an app to Read Battery Moto Mod Details for Custom Roms (like RR, LOS) we can use this app to see battery mod percentage until custom roms start supporting mods completely if you guys...
forum.xda-developers.com
This one appears to work on this rom. It might work on Project Sakura too, but havent tried it. Moto Mods default app works just fine with battery pack but i was curious if this one would still work. It shows the battery percent in it's notification where moto mod doesnt. Not a biggie as the "default battery indicator" seems to show the battery pack 's level when attached. Erfan 's mod does allow for changing the default start/stop values for charging, which i cant really test at the moment if it is actually working because my internal battery is "dead" and it is always charging
What you need is the BatteryModPercentage.apk & working Xposed. I am using Riru(Core) + LSposed.
When enabling the xposed module tick "System Framework" and hit okey and it should work.
Reboot as needed
I did notice the app is little bit grumpy at times and wont launch, just hit it again or in worst case, force kill it and it should come to life.
Thanks for sharing this app, but sadly I dont have a battery pack to test it.
I am sure others will appreciate it.

Before you try anything make sure to backup all important files you have on your phone.
First you need to unlock your bootloader and unfortunately i wont be much help here 'cause i unlocked mine years ago and i don't remember much how i did it, but if i would need to start again today i would follow this guide:
installing orange fox is shown here:
just make sure that you install version of orange fox provided by Pranav Temkar and not from youtube video
And finally copy voltage-2.1-santoni-20221230-1609-OFFICIAL.zip file to the phone, boot to orange fox and follow Installation Guide.

2. LTE does not comes up. I need to change network to WCDMA / GSM
Then it turns on mobie data, after than I can change to LTE
Does it support ota updates?
Hi, is it possible to enable encryption?
battery so lavish
I found a bug, i cant turn on wifi after i use hotspot thetering. In short, i cant turn on wifi after i turn on the hotspot. I must restart the phone to turn on wifi.
Thanks for giving santoni newlife. Using latest build, I've found some issues & bugs hopefully it'll be fixed in future.
Issue's
1. SystemWebview outdated.
If possible switch to Mulch webview. (shorturl.at/dnqv5) it uses patches from the Vanadium Project by GrapheneOS)
2. Applock/hide missing.
3. Encryption support.
Bug's
1. Bluetooth calling not working i can hear only distortion sound.
2. Hotspot bug as already reported by users in #13 & #17 comments.
#Added screenshot for outdated webview & missing applock/hide.
I got a problem after installation.
After following the above steps and rebooting, the phone shows the "Voltage" since 1h, I guess it is stuck somewhere.
Is there a possibility to see where/why it is looping?
Long press action and double tap action is not working when set to screenshot.
