Ive moved on.
Having rooted my ****, I was able to delve deeper into the conspiracy that is nuplayer and awesomeplayer and the fact that they take away effects from streaming sources. Got it fixed I think, now I can enjoy extreme quality Spotify with adaptsound

I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
do some research of this topic on your own before you take a look at it. YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you, all, at the same time.
Ok, I have seen the problem, when you first download TWRP in Download Mode, you have to make it reboot to your device's lockscreen.
After you have done that download SuperSU from here: https://download.chainfire.eu/1003/SuperSU/SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip
Go back to Recovery Mode and flash this file from the desired location you have put the .zip in.
Then reboot the whole system. (TWRP cannot process a lot of flashes of files at once! It crashes the system!)
Download ViPER4Android from here: ViPERAudio 5.5 Sony Beats Edition.zip
Then go to Recovery Mode again then flash this file.
After the reboot, open up the app and the app will say Drivers need to be installed. Install it and give the app root access. Then, you have to reboot it after it says Drivers Installed. Reboot.
REBOOT!
After that, go to the app and press the three dot menu on the right top corner and press compatibility mode and then press Compatible not Normal.
Then try playing a song and activate the app for SoundFX. If it does not work, then reply back and I will help you.
If it doesn't work and you want to fix it yourself, find a Permissive Kernel for the device and install it. ViPER4Android works on Enforcing and Permissive but it works on Permissive better.
Peace Out. Hope I helped.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 SM-T280 I have no idea when it comes to all this booting rebooting stuff but I like this kind of stuff and would want to learn more. Now my tablet is FRP locked. A google account bypass is what is wrong with the tablet can someone please tell me how to fix this I really want to know. Thank you in advance.

Btw, you dont suck. You said you did In the title, but you dont.

[Q] Please help?! SuperSU and Superuser partial install

I have a Verizon Galaxy S5. I've always been afraid to root, but I hate TouchWiz and bloatware so much that I had to try. I'm regretting it.
I just used towelroot and tried to install SuperSU, Titanium Backup, and Wanam Xposed. I tried to research as much as I could, but it's still all new to me.
I first tried to install SuperSU. I wasn't totally sure what to do when it said "Try to disable KNOX? - Cancel or OK".
Someone suggested that I tap OK and disable KNOX. The screen has said "Disabling KNOX..." with a spinning circle thing for at least 5 minutes now. After 10+ minutes of waiting, I closed SuperSU. I downloaded Superuser to try it instead (per someone's suggestion). I tapped it and it immediately opened. It didn't ask about installing or anything. I thought it would need to replace the su binary. It feels like I have a messed up mix of half-installed root software.
Now I just want to undo all this and go back to an unrooted phone. Can anyone help me do that?

You can Odin back to stock as mentioned, instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784880 - That is something I ran into also, if you just reboot and reopen the SuperSU app it will ask again to disable KNOX and it takes seconds to complete. I'd try that first, unistall the other SU app you tried. You can also unroot using SuperSU once its installed right.
Before Wanam you did install the Xposed framework I'm sure right?
You just need to reboot. It did the same thing to me. Like Floyd says it takes like a second to complete after that.

I eventually opened SuperSU again and it recognized the other superuser. It asked if I wanted to uninstall the other superuser, so I did. At least I'm down to only SuperSU now, and it seems to be doing what it's supposed to.
I'm still trying to figure out whether I can even use a custom recovery on my Verizon S5 at all. I don't want to do that until it is known to be pretty stable. So, would I even want to disable KNOX?

I haven't opened Wanam Xposed. I'm not sure what the Xposed framework is. Is there a set of step-by-step instructions anywhere? It's really disappointing how difficult it has been for me to find solid info. I'm not trying to do anything crazy, I just want to disable as much TouchWiz and bloat as possible.

My best advice for you is to watch videos on YouTube on how to use xsposed installer and also how to use the Titanium backup app to freeze apps you don't want. It would take a long time for someone to post a step by step. All info can be watched on YouTube then if you have questions go ahead and ask.

I watched a few YouTube videos. At this link, the first step is to create a nandroid backup. When I looked up nandroid, it says it needs a custom ROM in order to restore the backup. I thought the point of Xposed was to not need a custom ROM?

That was a good video. I didn't hear him mention "nandroid". I am guessing that by using a new slot and not touching the stock rom slot anymore, that the stock rom slot is considered a nandroid backup, or at least the equivalent.

Viper4Android, has anyone managed to get it working?

hey guys, just wondering if there are any viper4android users out there and if anyone has managed to get it working on the N6P

Yep, mine is running in normal. I do have SELinuxModeChanger set to permissive. Did you try that? Did you disable musicFX? Besides that I did exactly what was listed in the nexus 5x set-up.

where is the musicFX disable option? looked everywhere on the 6p and couldn't find it??
well, I don't know why but it seems to work now... without locating the musicFX disable option... followed the direction like on the link for the nexus 5 but also installed selinuxmodechanger and set to permissive. that seemed to work.

I am using systemless root and the selinuxmodechanger app does not work with this root method, so I used the permissive zip from flar2. I disabled musicfx and it still wont work in normal mode

changing musicfx back and forth didn't change the sound. but I know that the sound changed following the instructions and adding permissive option on selinux so maybe removing the file from the directory affected this?
I also followed the steps from the 5x forum and I am unable to get the driver to stick. I am rooted the non systemless way.
I had to use rootbrowser to delete the audio_effects.conf permanently. Once I did that, it worked

Does viper4android give us system wide audio control? Such as allowing us to change the gain on the top/bottom speakers?
Edit: Dw I found out it does. Just need to root and get it now then.
I'm having constant problems keeping this working. I did everything told in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63486621&postcount=7 yet every other day I get the issue of going into Google Music, playing music, and when I try to go to settings to get to Viper EQ, the music stops and Viper tells me all of a sudden that the driver isn't installed again (when it definitely was and was working fine).
Also, lately when I go into the SELinuxModeChanger app, it shows Enforcing is chosen, even right after I change it to Permissive. It keeps changing back on its own, even after root permissions are granted.
This wasn't happening until recently.
Running Elemental X's kernel if that matters.
Any ideas?
So I couldn’t wait any more so this weekend I rooted and got my Viper ON. Viper is one of the main reasons that I root. This is what I did:
1) I get TWRP and rooted by doing this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
2) Now that I’m rooted, I get busy box working
3) I didn’t need to change my SEL Mode by doing this.
4) I Boot into TWRP and I flashed the attach zip. “ViPER4Android-supolicy.zip”
5) Disable MusicFX and then I went into system/vendor/etc and killed “audio_effects.conf”
6) Open Viper and install best Driver
7) I had to re-flash the zip 2-3 times without wiping before I got it working.
Now my 6P is on MDB08M, Crypted, enforcing mode with TWRP and rooted with Viper.
edit: here more info about the the attached zip:

Note 4 stuck on bootloop after installing xposed.

My friends note 4 n910c which is rooted and has twrp installed on stock android.
Is stuck on bootloop, we can't find the disable zip in sd/android/data, there is no xposed folder and running the touch /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/disabled does nothing. What can we do?
I've tried to turn on mtp and transfer the uninstaller but mtp is not working for some reason and just keeps searching for drivers? (do you need adb/fastboot setup?))
What other choices do we have? Don't mind factory resting as long as internal storage doesnt get wiped.
Thanks in advance.

We can't. Cause when I go to mount and then enable mtp ,the phone starts to search for drivers and later says no drivers. I have no way of putting the uninstaller zip without a sd card which I dont have one on me right now. Looking into adb push but not sure how to set it up.

No CM13 Root Option? (Solved)

I'm on CM13, I was rooted and everything. I had SuperSU installed also. But upon realizing that I didn't need it because CM13 had a root permission manager built in, I uninstalled it. Upon rebooting there is now no option to root in developer settings except through ADB and I'm no longer rooted. Is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling the OS and starting from scratch?

You are rooted, CM comes prerooted. Did you turn on the cm root manager in settings?
Additionally, SuperSU is much better than cm manager, you really should use it.

Sorry, I've been desperate.
I'll look to see if there are any new nightlies and flash them or reflash the one I'm on. Reinstalling SuperSU fixed nothing, although it works. A lot of my root apps (ES file explorer, SELinux mode changer) are still telling me I don't have root, although SuperSU granted them root permission.

Root detection by app

Hello everyone,
I have 2 apps that keeps detecting root no matter what I do..
I tried HIDE MAGISK, MAGISK HIDE props and even I renamed the MAGISK package via MAGISK setting to random name..
The problem is that when I don't hide with MAGISK it will show msg root detected. But if I hide with MAGISK HIDE the app simply doesn't work at all it just hang at loading and crash sometimes.
I tried the app by uninstalling the MAGISK and the app works fine... but as soon as I install/flash MAGISK again app hanging and crashing.
Can anyone have idea how can I fix..
App link on play store-
Kuwait mobile ID:
Kuwait Mobile ID هويتي - Apps on Google Play
Kuwait digital ID for citizens and residents
play.google.com
Immune:
Immune مناعة - Apps on Google Play
Immune , application for Ministry of Health in Kuwait

App details- the above 2 apps are used for digital ID and Vaccination record in Kuwait country and it's important.
