[Q] Nexus 4 Radio bootloop fix for proximity sensor. Help!

I have a Nexus 4 running Carbon Rom 4.3. I faced a problem with the proximity sensor where the screen would turn off and never come back on. A repair shop fixed that problem by disconnecting the proximity and light sensors. Following the disabling of sensors, I could not get any Rom using radio above .48 to boot. The phone would always get stuck on the boot logo. After a lot of searching I came to find that 4.3 could be booted with .48 radio and went with it. However I want to update my phone to 4.4 kitkat and that isn't possible with the new radio until the proximity sensor is disconnected.
I want to know if it's possible to boot 4.4 (Custom or Official Rom) with my current hardware situation i.e with the light and proximity sensors disconnected? Is there a fix I can patch that can make it possible? I can't connect the sensors back or get a replacement device due to my location. Please help!

I knew it I wasn't alone. It took me ~3 days to know that it's a proximity issue. I downloaded 7 different ROMs including stock and stuck at the boot logo. Anyways, if that's the case I would re-connect the sensors back, just waiting to get the mobile toolkit to open up my Nexus 4.
I have the same problem, my audio 3.5mm module with sensors is broken so I can use only the 4.2.2
Can I make any changes to other ROM's or bootloaders to flash Android 6 ?

Accidentally disabled all sensors

Hey guys, I am using the g900f model, marshmallow rom android 6.0.1.
my proximity sensor broke and I followed this tutorial to disable it:
"with root explorer go to system/lib/hw and go all the way to the bottom to the last sensors file. its an so file. long press on it and open in text editor. somewhere in the page almost at the bottom you will see where it says ProximitySensor then on one of those line it should say mEnabled. just rename it to mDisabled, then reboot and the proximity sensor is fixed."
For some reason after I did it all of my sensors got disabled, proximity, gyro, light, everything.
I changed the file to it's original state by reverting the line to mEnabled and rebooted the device and everything is still disabled, phone just doesn't recognize the hardware.
On the stock rom it only disabled the proximity sensor and I had no problems reverting it, only happens on marshmallow rom...
Any ideas?
BTW can't flash another rom because my power button isn't working and I can't get it into recovery...
Thank you guys for your help.

[Request] Persist.img for ZC551KL

Hello,
I've been without sensors nor camera for a while now (almost a year), got broken because an OTA update. Tried downgrading, didn't work.
Yesterday I managed to root and install TWRP, did some research and heard about ''persist'' partition. I've been searching for similar cases but no luck. Also tried deleting sns.reg
Can someone provide me the persist.img stock file? So I can finally fix my sensors.
Broken sensors:
Gyroscope
Ambient light
Accelerometer
Proximity
Fingerprint
Camera Flash isn't working either.

Solved, download the firmware version you have here and look for persist.img. The firmware comes with it but the install script doesn't use it. Just flash it:
Code:
fastboot devices
fastboot erase persist
fastboot flash persist persist.img
fastboot reboot

Depending on your OS version yes, contact me on Telegram @GuerrillaRadi0 (the last character is zero) maybe I can help you, after I fixed the problem I configured fingerprint security and the problem came back, so I tried to flash persist.img again and it didn't work, so I got the raw rom of the Oreo version I have; WW-15.0210.1810.73, which comes with its own ADB, and flashed from there, the same raw rom has the persist.img. After that all sensors worked again, so I configured fingerprint security again just to be sure, and again I lost all the sensors, but after deactivate fingerprint again everything worked fine, I guess I have some hardware issue related to fingerprint sensor, I guess it was because a technician opened the phone to replace screen and battery 2 months ago. I always used fingerprint so I need to go back to pattern.
Good luck
After some days without any issue the problem came back, I flashed persist.img twice and it worked, but about 3 days ago I can't solve this flashing persist.img, I tried wiping everything, downgrading to Nougat, then flashing Oreo, with TWRP and via flashtool, no solution, any other idea?? all sensors are not working.
Thanks in advance

No Sensors Working : Proximity, Gyro, Magnetic Field, Accelerate.

I flashed AOSP extended Pie rom in my cool1 dual indian version. Then I decided to roll back to official stock EUI 5.8.017S. Now I am facing few errors like; when I try to add a fingerprint it shows error as, 'Can't store fingerprint. Delete the existing one first'. I don't have any previous fingerprints on the device. I did factory reset but no avail. Also, the proximity sensor is not working. Magnetic field and auto rotate are also not working.
I looked for a solution in 4pda forum(I can't share the link as I am new user). They had the solution but the files were not accessible now(maybe removed).
Can someone help me in this matter? If possible, please share the persist section for sensors.
