They were out of the S7 edge so I had to get an active but I have the offers. Called Samsung Pay customer service about getting my $20 reward card back and he said we're eligible for all of the promo's again, they'll just add on to what we currently have.

So even we are just getting the s7 edge as loaner we can submit to get the SD card or vr?

Well I traded for s7 edge just gonna wait it out till next year for new note or s8 but yeah I got gear vr and already approved

BOGO offer leaked...

Just pre-ordered too! I'm thinking I should be able to cancel or return under buyers remorse and turn around to avail of this offer of it is actually released.
http://www.tmonews.com/2016/03/t-mo...axy-s7-and-s7-edge-buy-one-get-one-free-deal/
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are now just four days away from hitting store shelves, and when they do launch, T-Mobile will have an offer ready to go along with them.
A source just sent in the image you see above, which reveals that T-Mobile will kick off a Buy One, Get One Free promo for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge on March 11. To qualify, you’ll need at least one new line of service, and one of the phones will need to be on that line. Both phones will need to be purchased on an Equipment Installment Plan, and you will have to pony up any taxes and down payment on the free device. There’s also a mention of a prepaid MasterCard mail-in rebate.
Some other tidbits worth noting about this deal include the limit of two free phones per account and the fact that employees aren’t eligible for the offer. Sorry, T-Mobile employees.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are two of the top-end smartphones on the market, and so being able to get one for free will be a pretty nice deal. Of course, you’ll need to find someone that wants to sign up for a new line to take advantage, but if you know someone looking for some new cell service, this could be a good way to get them (or you both) to join the Magenta side. With this offer expected to launch on March 11, we should hear more about it later this week, so stay tuned.
Thanks, Juárez75!

Definitely curious about that myself, but from what I read, the VR and Netflix offer is valid for purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 edge from 2/23/16 through 3/18/16. If that is the case and this BOGO offer does come out on 3/11, then the VR and Netflix offer should apply. Then again, I could be wrong.

How would we go about canceling the pre-order if our products haven't shipped, or just wait to receive them and take them to T-Mobile. I think with this promotion, you should be able to call and they can fix without having to return the devices. It's a lot of returns if they don't.
Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
The pre-order deal should still apply, but, that's only if there are any left. Samsung only has 300k VR deal for all providers.

Definitely a good question and would like to find out also. I assume that we would either cancel before the order is shipped or cancel and return after receiving the phone. Although I do hope if this offer does come out that they honor it over thru customer service.

The only issue some of the people will have is that I believe one of the phones has to be a new line of service. I have 2 lines without phones I can cancel and then it allows me to add 2 new lines. That is the catch.
Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
I have 2 lines now, so I assume I could upgrade a line, add a line and then cancel the non upgrade line and still be eligible for the deal?
I'm glad I ported my main numbers to Google Voice way back when so I don't have to worry about the phone numbers
Is this deal true? Or just a rumor? Seems too good to be true.

Its real, ATT is offering a similar deal. Not a bad idea to get the phone out there as much as possible. Ill add a third line then cancel it later if I decide to get the phone.
That is a great deal.. I'm thinking about cancelling my jod and going with this.

Here is the FAQ on T-mobiles site:
http://www.t-mobile.com/offer/galaxy-s7-faq.html
Good news for EIP pre-orders:
I already bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 / Galaxy S7 edge. Can I get one free?
Yes. If you bought the first Samsung Galaxy S7 / Galaxy S7 edge on EIP, you may also purchase a second Galaxy S7 / Galaxy S7 edge on EIP, then add a line for that second device and, if you meet the requirements, you will be eligible for the rebate.
sucks for me because I always buy my phone without contracts....
And I hate dealing with returns.
T-Mobile: Hi
T-Mobile: I see here that you are interested in availing our Buy One Get One offer.
You: yes

T-Mobile: And as per info you have provided you ordered your device last February 29 is that right?
You: yes
T-Mobile: Please give me a minute to pull up your account to view your eligibility.
T-Mobile: Thank you for waiting.
T-Mobile: As per checking you are eligible to avail the offer.
T-Mobile: Since you already purchased the device last Feb 29 all you have to do is activate a new line of service on the same account to use with one of the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge devices

T-Mobile: The offer is fulfilled by a prepaid MasterCard for the cost of the second device.
T-Mobile: You will receive the prepaid MasterCard within 8 weeks after submitting the rebate.
You: and I cancel my other line that I have?
T-Mobile: Let check on that, please give me a few.
T-Mobile: Thank you for waiting.
T-Mobile: Yes you can do that if you wish or you have the option to add a new line.
T-Mobile: Adding a new line is a must to become eligible for this offer.
You: got it
T-Mobile: Additionally, you will receive the prepaid MasterCard within 8 weeks after submitting the rebate.
T-Mobile: And you must pay the EIP on both devices.

T-Mobile: Hope I was able to provide all the needed info for you.
You: thanks
T-Mobile: Thank you for your time as well.
T-Mobile Have a great day
I contacted them and they told me since my plan doesn't require a credit check * I have great credit* that I no able to get this deal...
So now i'm going to return my s7 edge which I paid in full and switch my account to a credit check type... Absolutely not leaving a free phone on the table...that's just stupid unless you have awful credit. I end up spending the same but I get an extra phone right? No brainer.....

That's BS, I have excellent credit as well and I just had them order me a new one for my wife, she is losing her number. They said I can start a new line and they would cancel the other line.
What she said...I also called customer service hoping for a different outcome. What makes me upset is that people who like to pay the device in full get screwed over .... doesn't make sense....
No worries, Omar! So sorry for the delay in response -- I really appreciate your patience while I get back to you. This promotion isn't available to our Simple Choice No Credit account types and does require that a line of service be added at time of order, so you would be ineligible this time around. However, I definitely want to ensure you're able to take advantage of our other S7 promotion that gets you a free Samsung VR headset and year of Netflix while supplies last! Is that something you've submitted for yet? *SamanthaA

No no I wasn't calling your response BS, I was just saying that it's such BS that you have to do that.
It's also BS that you have add a brand new number (so they can say to wall street that the added these many 'new' lines) just when I am canceling another number, so net 0 benefit. Luckily my wife doesn't care about losing her old number so win for me.
I currently have a family plan that gives me unlimited data on 2 lines for $100 (it was a promo that ended last year I believe). If I add another line to get this phone, would it ruin my current plan or would I be able to revert right back after canceling the line?

Is there a limit you need to buy to get the $30 gift card? Can I just go and buy and a candy bar or bottle of pop and will that be enough to qualify for the gift card? Also do I get the gift card in the mail? I'm assuming because my CC information is stored and it will be sent to my house. I'm hopiong there will be a note on my Samsung Pay app that I bought something and and there will be a note saying I get the gift card. Gotta love Samsung and the S7 Edge. :victory:

This information is available inn the apps promotion and via the Samsung pay website. However, I can tell you how it worked for me. There was no minimum limit to the purchase and as soon as Samsung pay was used (I bought a Jimmy John's), a popup in the app let's you know that the gift card is available. You then get to choose which card you want and select it. You then get the option to add it to your Samsung Pay app. I already spent the Samsung gift card I chose and it worked like a charm. But you really should check the website for further info and card eligibility.
Oh, and make sure you have the latest update of Samsung Pay on your phone before you make a purchase so the promotion will be pre-loaded. You can see if it is there checking the "events" part of the app.

Pretty much anywhere that has a magnetic strip reader or a tap to pay terminal. The kind that you swipe the card yourself. I'm not sure about gas pumps though. That's one of the things that makes Samsung Pay better than Android Pay or Apple Pay (in my opinion). MST tech means there doesn't need to be a NFC terminal involved.

Yup, Each device requires a service contract. Stupid deal IMO, even if you want the tablet/watch. You can buy for cheaper out-right from amazon or somewhere else. 10/m over 2 years is over $250 w/ all fees. You can still get the -real- free gift from Samsung.
remember that the $10 a month covers cell access not payment of the device. Yes you can get cheaper from Amazon but you still have to pay $10 for cell access, if you want a Gear S2 that can make cell calls.

I would have been tempted, but the gear s2, tab e, and 2nd galaxy phone all require new line activations, and 2/3 require a 2 year contract.
Yes. I did them all.
I upgraded my Note 5 to 7 (used an existing upgrade from my family plan)
- AT&T - got the Gear S2 watch free (it is a 4g phone as well, which is why it required the $10.00 per month charge)
- AT&T - got the free 8" Tab E tablet
- AT&T - got the $695 discount deal (for getting a new line) on a second Note 7 on flexpay (works out being about $7.00 per month)
- Samsung - Got the 256gb SDCard... in 12 weeks or however ridiculously long of a wait.

Check your order status with Samsung. They are being VERY fast with shipping these things out. Quite a few people are already getting tracking numbers, and I have been approved and pending shipment. So you should crush the 12 weeks... (BTW it was 4-6 weeks for verification, then 12 additional weeks to deliver if you read the fine print. Had they done that, you are looking at 2017!)

You can just pay the ETF of $150 after getting the GS2 and the Tab E (which is cheaper than buying either right out).
That is what I will probably do with my Gear S2 after a month or two to see if I really do need cellular or not.

Those who went Note7 > S7, get a Gear S3 for $49

AT&T has a promo running where you can pre-order a Gear S3 for $49 when purchased with a Samsung phone. I went from Note7 to S7 Edge on October 16th. I had already pre-ordered the Gear S3 at $249 but thought what the hell, why not call AT&T to see if they'd throw me a bone. The CSR asked me for my AT&T store receipt number from the exchange and got a supervisors approval to give me the $49 price. They had me cancel my online pre-order and put notes in my account for me to go in to a store today and get a new pre-order processed at $49. I did and they did and its supposed to ship November 18th.
The whole Note7 launch and cancel has been a debacle but I've been handsomely rewarded. I got a 256GB SD card with my first Note7, a Gear VR with the second, and now a Gear S3 for $49. That's on top of almost $100 in Samsung Pay first use credits for initializing it on 3 different phones. I also got my $100 credit for sticking with Samsung last week on my AT&T bill.
I'd imagine the Gear S3 thing is a YMMV and I'd suggest charm and gaining sympathy for what, as a Note7 owner, you've been through rather than brute force. Good luck.
Great deal! I got the Gear S2 on special when I got the Note 7. I doubt they'd upgrade me from S2 to the S3.

The first one, a Gear Fit or 256GB SD card, everyone who pre-ordered a Note7 should have gotten (I chose the SD card). The second one, "buy a Samsung phone get a SD card or Gear VR," was meant for the S7's because Note7's weren't being sold to new customers until the 1.5M exchanges were processed. I exchanged my first Note7 for my second on day one of the exchange program and just sent the exchange receipt as proof of purchase for the promo. They accepted it but I heard from those filing later they stopped. All the Samsung Pay stuff anyone can get because Samsung doesn't really check whether the account is new or the phone is. So three new phones, three sets of Samsung Pay offers. The Gear S3 was just luck of the draw. I got a really nice CSR and she felt sorry for me having to go through three phones to end up with one I wouldn't have chosen (S7 Edge). So short answer is luck and timing.
P.S. - I got my first Note7 for $290 outright because AT&T f-d up a cross-line Next upgrade and couldn't figure out how to fix it. They told me to pay off my balance on my Next-returned and in their hands Note5 ($290) and just keep the Note7 and they cancelled its installment plan. As part of trying to fix the upgrade they bungled they inadvertently gave me two monthly installment credits I owed totaling about $85. Then I got a refund of about $90 to my account when I exchanged for a S7 Edge because it was cheaper. Then Samsung gave me $100 via AT&T for staying in the family. So net net I got a S7 Edge outright for $15 on top of all the free and discounted "stuff." All in all I did OK.

Sprint Pre-order Waiting and Shipping Room

I didn't see one for Sprint so I figured I would start one. I ordered directly from Sprint. Got the black S8+. I was debating ordering from them or Best Buy but went for Sprint. Hoping I get it before April 21st.
I always go with best buy patiently waiting for the 21st

I ordered directly from Sprint too. Would love to get it before the 21st but best hope is to have it on the 21st

I ordered a black s8 yesterday from sprint telesales. I'm on the galaxy forever from sprint and apparently over the phone was the only way of processing my order because the system in store and online was trying to charge me the rest of the contract on my s7.

I was having the same exact thing! After multiple hours on the phone, online and in the store. Finally was elevated to retention department and they were able to fix the problem (I think they simply voided the lease). So frustrating since my wife's had no problem upgrading. Glad to hear (although unfortunate) that I wasn't the only one having this problem.
IS there not that many Sprint people around? Am I with the wrong carrier?
I'm around and getting ready to do the same thing (upgrade to the S8)

No samsung bought it for 1000 to get it off the market so I'm sending it back and paying off my s8+ that way I can upgrade to the note 8

Because I signed up to return it and never did. So they contacted me and offered me more. And sprint contacted them when I tried to upgrade to s8+ and my meid number didn't match my original note 7 so sprint couldn't do anything

So you just really got your refund on the note 7?
I pre-ordered from sprint.com
Can't wait! - S8 midnight black
I am selling my Pixel XL (128mb) when this comes in. WELL - I'll live with it a little bit and make the decision.
The Pixel XL is honestly really great. Just boring.
And I am excited to get to a "truly one handed" phone with a large screen (if infact the S8 can be that for me).
Does Sprint have any history of delivering early or anything?

I'm with T-mobile, but over the weekend a Sprint rep tagged me down while I was walking by, he was arguing with me that 256GB micro SD card doesn't exist, because they were offering 128GB micro SD card lol
I pre-ordered in black, online at 1 am on the 30th. Hoping they ship early, but being on sprint and with a Samsung phone I doubt it.

Just wanted to share some of the information I put together while putting in two pre-orders for S8's today at a Best Buy Mobile store.
First off, I was informed by the Assistant Manager that helped me at Best Buy Mobile that the $50 "gift card" for the S8 and $100 "gift card" for the S8+ would lower the amount of the installments over the period of the 24 month installment plan (I assume the same for the lease option too).
For instance, if I go with the 24 month installments on the S8 ($50 deal), I would get $2.08 off for 24 months bringing the monthly price down from $31.25 to $29.17. If I got the S8+ ($100 deal), I would get $4.16 off for 24 months bringing the monthly price down from $35.42 to $31.26.
Now based on what I have read on other forums I am still left wondering if I am actually getting a gift card for the phone or if it will be applied like mentioned above.
In addition I called Sprint to ask about the special offer "Get a $10/mo. loyalty credit on lease or installment billing when you stay on your current plan." that shows on my account. I was informed that I would not be eligible to receive this credit if I got the phone from Best Buy and the only way would be to order it through Sprint or through "telesales". I feel like the person was lying to me and just trying to get a sale.
The Assistant Manager at Best Buy Mobile checked with her local rep who told her that I would get the $10 loyalty credit and that it doesn't matter where the phone comes from; if your plan is eligible the credit will hit your account within a few billing cycles. I asked about the waived $30 upgrade fee that Sprint is offering. The rep said I would not get that (which I'm OK with if everything else checks out).
Anyway, if all this works like I have been told by Best Buy, my two S8's I ordered will be $19.17 a month and if I would have got an S8+ it would come to $21.26 a month.
The question is what is true and what is not true?
Preordered from sprint.com the first day it was available. Getting a $10 a month loyalty credit, or $240 off over 2 years.
Moving from a S4.
I ordered mine from Sprint today. I normally would have used Best buy but they don't offer Galaxy forever.
I had the same problems ordering as others here. They tried to charge me for the rest of my lease from my S7.
Once I called they cancelled the rest of my lease to fix the problem.
At this point it seems Sprint has the best pre-order deal.
