My SM-N915A says that it is up to date when I use ota, kies, and smart switch on pc but I'm still on OI6 build 5.1.1 any help on updating my device or link to download the needed files for the 6.0.1 MM update..... THanks

I'm from Pakistan but it says software is up to date on at&t note edge . What now ? Currently on 5.0.1
So today I went to the Samsung shop inside best buy to get the update because when I tried to update via OTA, Kies, and Smart Switch (computer app) it said that my device was up to date. So I was talking to the tech there while i got my update, I had asked what software they used to update the phones the tech told me that it is called "Smart" not Smart Switch. So the tech gave me back my phone and I looked to see what built number I got updated to I saw that it was COI9. Then I argued with the tech that AT&T had pushed the MM update . So the tech was nice enough to check to see if I had anymore updates and to my demise the tech said that it was the latest update... If anyone can get a hold of the software that they use could/would be nice enough to upload it so we can do the forced updates to our Samsung devices.

After we upgraded our two Note Edges to Marshmallow, we are definitely not seeing the imprint/line that you're seeing.
It almost looks like screen burn.
Also, we had ordered a used replacement Note Edge a while back and it came looking just like that. We tried screenburn apps, which did not fix the problem (so it was sent back).

I'd hold off. I have a Latin American P-601 and this ROM is for Panama and should have worked. It failed about 3/4 of the way through installing it with Odin. I'm going to try downloading the file again in case it got corrupted. But with the install failing I'll have to do an emergency firmware restore via Kies which will put me back on 4.3. The upgrade got far enough to wipe recovery before it failed so Kies is pretty much the only option. So y'all be careful.
And we're back. That was the strangest update I've ever experienced. It failed about a half-dozen times to the point that I couldn't even get the device in to download mode any more; it just said something like "a software error has occurred, restore using Kies." I assumed it wiped everything in the process. With that error messaging showing I tried again and it Odin got all the way through the update. For the last try I re-extracted the zip file, changed the USB cable to a Samsung-branded one, and removed the external SD card. One or all of those things are what made it work. And I didn't lose any data either.
Holy crap though. It's like a new device. Almost all of the Samsung apps have been updated/refreshed and everything seems fresher and cleaner. All the Hancom apps are official and updated themselves. Also, people were saying that the lock screen widgets were gone in 4.4. Mine are still here and work just like they always did.
It's 1:20AM. I'll update some more tomorrow.

Samsung has released a brand new Android 5.1.1 OTA Update in Korea for all the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge on SK Telekom. The new update should arrive any minute now and it is an important one, as it adds goodies from the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
The new official OTA Update is being released in stages and it will hit all devices shortly as long as these are based in South Korea. I doubt this will come to other models anytime soon, since this is the "Samsung Pay" update. I can see the U.S. models getting the update next month when Samsung Pay launches in the U.S. then, but all other models probably won't get this update for a while (considering my G920I just got an update to COGA a couple days ago). Or perhaps Samsung will push the update without Samsung Pay?

Can confirm, I received my tablet yesterday (T715Y) and it prompted me for a 1.3 GB update to 6.0.1.
Multi-user is enabled.
I had first rooted my tablet with the provided instructions on XDA but when the OTA update hit it told me my system had been modified and couldn't be applied. So I fired up Samsung's "Smart Switch" and let it do the update there. That didn't seem to do anything really, but then the OTA update applied after I did the USB update. From what I see the update isn't posted on the Samsung Firmware download site yet.
Also, meant to update that I am in the USA, East Coast.
***UPDATE***
Sam Mobile has 6.0.1 updated now.

Everything is working 100% rooted including LTE via T-Mobile.
The T715Y OTA is live in many other regions as well

Downloaded the full ROM from Sam mobile and installed to tablet. Found a MM permissive kernel (by Jaf?) and Viper4Android works just fine. Installed wanam custom build xposed-85.1-sdk23 (20160530) and it's working, too!

I haven't a seen huge performance increase in this update, device runs just like it was on Lollipop. But the battery drains faster in this update which is an issue for me. I would normally lose 1% of battery life in 7-10mins but on this update, I'd lose 1% of battery life in 3-5mins.
Starting today, we are pleased to begin rolling out the highly anticipated Marshmallow update in the US. As part of this update, Honor 5X will also be receiving EMUI 4.0.

I think you will end up stuck at boot logo. You'll probably want to return to stock first.
Has anyone received this update yet? Seems like a unicorn.
Hopefully someone will make a twrp flasheable zip right away. If not I will try by flashing stock recovery and see what happens. ?

1. I know the phone does not come with an NFC chip in it.
2. I know this thread is for the MM update that Honor USA is lying about releasing.

Has anyone tired SM-G935U for T-Mobile does wifi calling works, and video calling.
I gave it a go yesterday. I would not recommend it. It seems like it is causing issues, if you follow the thread on it. Also if you are on the July 1st security patch (the update that came out on 07/08/2016) then trying to flash the G935U firmware will softbrick your device. Either way the best way to get back to stock is to use Smart Switch and re-initialize the phone. You will lose all of your internal data either way.

SM-G935T is on v3 while SM-G935u is on v2 which is causing the softbrick .
Have anyone tried this recently? as of October 1st? Reports on the AT&T forum seem to suggest that it's working now.

I have the SM-G935U Olympic edition running on T-Mobile with the latest firmware PG9, Aug. 1st patch and I can see LTE+ every now and then. I do also see the option for WIFI-Calling and VOLTE. I can not verify if they worked properly but the options are there. Im not rooted because I still want Samsung Pay for now. ROM seems fast and good battery life and no T-Mobile BLOAT I was able to uninstall (yes uninstalled not disable) even the samsung email app and samsung+.

It looks like the bootloader for the Unbranded version has increased. This should allow us to switch from T-mobile to U since they are now both at 4.
If you follow the release of older firmware it coincides with new bootloader revisions. If so then the AT&T, T-mobile and Unbranded version are all now at bootloader 4 which allows us to flash any one of them.
For example, if you look at the history of firmware releases for the T-mobile variant, you'll note the number has changed when the bootloader has been updated.

Well, I just upgraded my Tmobile version which was on v3 bootloader to the new SM-935U firmware and sure enough, it updated the bootload to v4:
U firmwares were updated and uploaded onto sammobile today with v4 bootloader, i have downloaded it and updated my phone to the U. ill post pictures in a few. i will also upload the firmware to my drive for everyone

U firmwares were updated and uploaded onto sammobile today with v4 bootloader, i have downloaded it and updated my phone to the U. ill post pictures in a few. i will also upload the firmware to my drive for everyone
