Supports Touchwiz 6.0.1
IF YOU FOLLOW MY STEPS BELOW, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR WARRANTY, KNOX WILL DISPLAY 0x1! I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGED DEVICE!
If you want to take my work and need it somewhere, or do other things with it, ask me first for the permission. Otherwise you are not allowed to take it! Thank you !
Notice to all devs:
Fingerprint/iris patch and force encryption disabler are not part of the GLP since
the patch is not in kernel space, instead the patch was created in system space. The license which
covers this modifications is Apache 2.0 and this requires to give proper credits to me (in case you
want to use fingerprint and iris scanner on your kernel, as well as disable force encryption).
Not following those rules can lead to serious problems.
Any people who are not following GPL anyway are not allowed to use this patch.
If you want to see what I do for the note 7 as well, check out my rom: HydraRom, a Touchwiz based rom made by myself!
Features of this Kernel:

Download:
V1.3 available on XDA servers
Bugs/Problems:
- None
Instructions:
Coming from full stock:
0. Make a full backup of your phone, coming from stock you will loose all data, since this disables force encryption!
1. Install a custom recovery for your phone, like this one here: TWRP
2. Follow the instructions on the page above, until you get a working recovery
3. Download the Kernel from below and copy it to your external SD Card
4. Reboot to your recovery by pressing volume up, home button and power button at the same time.
5. Now, since mentioned many times, this kernel get's rid of force encryption, so you need to wipe all data
6. Go to Wipe, click on format data, write "yes" then reboot to recovery
7. Go to wipe, advanced wipe, select: cache, data, internal sdcard, dalvik cache and wipe them all
8. Install zip/select the kernel
9. Flash supersu, phh's root or xposed, just all things that modify your boot.img
10. Wipe cache and dalvik cache (recommand)
11. Reboot
Coming from previous kernel version:
1. Download kernel
2. Boot into recovery mode
3. Flash kernel
4. Flash any other file which affects ramdisk (such as supersu, xposed, magisk etc.)
5. Reboot

One hell of a fast kernel. very impressed by the speed and battery. great work!

Antutu scores increased from 113k to 139k! Amazingly fast phone again because of the kernel. Plus even the updated shealth works. Data partition in twrp can be mountes. Everything works! Ofcourse except secure storage.

Nice to see you here, yet another phone I am using your stuff on rofl.
Also I asked for help on my TWRP problems in the Questions forum and got the answers here without asking lol, thanks for that to

Unbelievable... My phone is literally flying ✈ ? with HydraKernel 1.1, thank you for you big effort master... Thk Luca! Next week others 2 beers for you my friend! ?

@Tkkg1994 - thanks for sharing, so far the only issue i'm having is with TBackup. not saying it's a kernel issue, but asking you or the others who installed the kernel and r using TBackup if it's working for them.

Yes TiBu working fine here.
EDIT:
I take that back! TiBu not working - says it could not acquire root privileges.

thanks for your reply. i can get root privileges, but it's not restoring my apps. upon further review, i believe the TB backup process didn't work; folder size is usually 1+ GB, but this backup folder is only 323MB. going to attempt a restore via TB Update.zip file created from another device.

Yes I think the kernel may have unrooted the phone. I just flashed SuperSU in TWRP and root is back and TiBu working fine.

Ah sorry didn't see that! Cheers.

i'm back in business... TiBu backups were corrupted so i restored using flashable zip file with TiBu backups (no data) from my S7.

my fast charging very slow after flash v1.1 kernel, anyone?
edit: something wrong about the cable, work great now

@Tkkg1994 - Which app would you suggest to change governors and other parameters on this kernel?
Or should we reflash when we need to change anything ?
Thanks!

Flashing the Rom requires a full wipe and an additionally format system
Nice work can't wait to try it.. surprising to see development still going on this device, even if it has slowed down. Mardon any chance you could do a compile of all cm's (cm9-cm11) with this kernel or is it only able to be compiled for cm11
Sent from my GT-I9305 using XDA Free mobile app
Can anyone tell me what is different between 2.6 kernels and this one(kernel 3).after installation this kernel what will happen?thanks
successfully installed and here is my review:
-its the best kernal for cm11
-it fixed the random reboots problem
-i thing that you should add over lock to 902
-and its really fast

I've done a full wipe. I get a code 0 installation aborted error.
Could it be some kind of root issues.
I've flashed and installed 100s of custom roms in the past, and your other roms seem to run on this device.
I tried re-downloading in case the file was damaged, but no luck. Kernel works fine.

Last CWM recovery is required for new androidarmv6 roms.
@Mardon keep in mind that we still haven't fixed audio stuttering/wakeup delay
I am using that version CWM. I still get the installation error code.
EDIT:
Tried re-installing CWM update and it worked. Thanks very much. Booting as we speak.

I tried mini-gapps-cm11-20141213-signed.zip but no Gapps were visible after boot. I'll try again.
Would gapps-kk-20141215-minimal-x-plus-edition-gps032-160dpi_signed work ok?
I updated Mini GApps yesterday to 20141227!
Use them.
Gesendet von meinem LT18i mit Tapatalk
Thank you. Got them.
Should I avoid running the OTA update cm-11-20141227-NIGHTLY-cooper.zip?
Everything is running fine, but i've hit a problem.
The keyboard appears to be missing, so I can't login to wifi to set the phone up.
There's no file browser either, so I can't install a 3rd party keyboard.
Is there any way around this? Flashable keyboard app?
You can just wait a few minutes/hours for complete CM11 ROM modified by Mardon - [ROM][CM11] - modded - [nightly-20140806]

Did you forgot to format system before flashing the rom? only factory reset is not enough!
Yup. That was it. Sorry.
All working now.
I can't install any apps though, as storage is full. I was going to partition an SD card and run Link2SD, however there isn't enough space (19mb) to install Link2SD. How do you guys get around this?
Thanks for the wonderful rom and kernel.

1) Q: Is overclock safe?
A: I didn't touch voltage so it should be
2) Q: How can i get more battery life or performance?
A: Play around with cpu governors and frequencies
3) Q: I'm having random reboots, freezes, crashed
A: Lower your GPU frequency
4) Q: Are you Planning to support MIUI?
A: Yes, miui support will come in the future however right now miui is UNSUPPORTED
5) Q: Could you include feature x,y and z in your kernel please?
A: If i find it useful then yes
6) Q: The kernel is f*cking up my battery! Plz...
A: Stop right there. The Kernel doesn't drain any battery, use an app like BetterBatteryStats to figure out what app is screwing with your phone. If verified the clocks are always online and on the max clock, then it'll checked out what's happen. Anyway logs are necessary.

If you are experiencing crashes during games/benchmarks lower GPU frequency in kernel aduitor
744Mhz - max OC
724Mhz - high OC
654Mhz - stock frequency
INSTALLATION:
Boot to recovery
Flash kernel zip
Reboot
Yay! You've installed the kernel

In this case, I'm facing too in princess re:connect, is always detect root even use hide magisk option. Simply, just delete folder patch on zip. Then re-flash your rom include this kernel, you need to clean install.

Did you Hide Magisk Manager before? If the problem still there, just delete patch folder on active kernel zip. Then clean install.
Wipe all (system, data, cache) and data( type yes) in twrp, then flash the rom, firmware, rom, gapps, active kernel and magisk.
After boot up try to hide FGO or other japan games, if still detect, try to Hide Magisk Manager then clear data FGO apps, then run again.

Introduction:
Acrux kernel is a v4.4 CAF based, cleanly imported (from Xiaomi), EAS kernel with HMP stuff removed (thanks to Joshuous), updated to the latest CAF tag and upstreamed with mainline Linux, aiming to give a balance of performance to battery life.
Code:
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this Kernel
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Supports:
- Any custom AOSP ROMs on Android Ten (10.x)
- Maybe MIUI (can't always support this)
Reporting bugs:
- If you want to report any bugs, please post a logcat and kernel log - I recommend syslog to give all the logs I need.
If this information is not provided, I cannot - and will not - help.

Flash Eu rom again without wiping anything then reboot
Boot back again to twrp flash the kernel then reboot don't flash magisk do it after a reboot.
It should work like this
Hello @nysadev !!
installed in xiaomi.eu MIUI weekly 9.4.25. To avoid falling into bootlop followed by installing the kernel you must install magisk !!!! Another thing I do not have audio after installing the kernel version 1.3, the phone slows down!
I will be testing all the versions I take, and I will inform you if everything is ok or there is something to repair !! Very grateful with your work!
Lyra 1.4 - Stable & Developer kernels
Changelog:
- Move to two seperate builds. You will need to know yourself which kernel you want to use. MIUI developer versions will of course use the developer firmware builds, my ROMs and most other AOSP ROMs are stable too. You'll need to know.
- Switch to a new, adapted energy model
- Fix SD cards breaking on MIUI
- Some other optimizations

Hey this kernel seems pretty decent and stable. One minor issue is Fast charging didn't show on kernel aduitor. Other features are nice. Almost all other kernels I tried so far had issues like overheating, not sleeping and even not booting, but your kernel is butter.

That fastcharge u are talking of is fast charging in usb mode ( all other kernels has that knob to disable or enable), in wizardstaff this is enabled always , max charging current in usb mode(mean when connected to pc ) is 900mA. And with stock charger the max current u can get is 2A , and i think more than this will heat up the device and not good for it....
Thanks for the feedback and appreciation ............

Someone knows what differences have this kernel with Rockstar or Phantom?
Smooth kernel! Been using it for a few weeks now and it's working like a charm!
Hope you continue improving it for a while.

Rockstar is focused on raw performance over battery power saving, it offers a few more customizations when it comes to overclocking the CPUs and such.
This one on the other hand, offers no CPU overclocking but it has; in my opinion; better configurations (and optimizations) "under the hood" that actually shows in the long run.
Haven't tried Phantom kernel yet, and probably won't, I'm sticking with this one for the time being.
