Here you go: https://www.mediafire.com/download/cau02wlc8874v26 (I'm using Linaro Kernel by Nick Verse).
What's the battery and cpu temperature? Check it with Kernel Adiutor.

I had those temperatures too. At this moment, my CPU is at 40 and battery 30.7. It may depend on the weather too.

[HELP] Is this CPU temp normal?

I have a problem. Ever since I flash a custom kernel name Ultimate Kernel v61 I exp that my phone is heating or somewhat warm.
Before flash is 45-53 celcius.
Now its like 49-62 celcius.
I want to know is.
Is this CPU temp safe?
So I can restore to stock kernel.
My phone is Note 3 SM N9005.
BTW I attach a screenshot from my Antutu stability test.

Typical operating temperature for this chipset is about 0-70 oC.
So 62oC is still safe

Oh. Thanks.
Will further test my phone.
And can you give the site to see those details you just said?
I also have another phone that also heats fast.
Will just look at to it.
Thanks in advance.

Sometimes the best thing is not to monitor these.
If it doesn't heat or become warm, just let it go . . .

[MOD] Disable throttling when battery low

Disable crappy performance when below 40%!
I got sick and tired of my powerful shamu be throttled when my battery got low, making doing simple tasks laggy.
Here's a flashable zip (attached) to allow you to use the full power of your shamu. I take no responsibility if your device gets screwed up(it won't but if it does). Just flash it in recovery & reboot.
How to do this yourself or include it in your ROM/Kernel.
The file we will be editting is thermal-engine-shamu.conf
1. Find the first three sections, they will be the below three
2. Overwrite those sections with the below ones
Code:
[BAT-SOC-CPUFREQ]
algo_type monitor
sensor soc
sampling 5000
thresholds 100
thresholds_clr 99
actions cpu
action_info 1728000
[BAT-SOC-HOTPLUG]
algo_type monitor
sensor soc
sampling 5000
thresholds 100 100
thresholds_clr 99 99
actions hotplug_3 hotplug_2
action_info 1 1
[BAT-SOC-GPU]
algo_type monitor
sensor soc
sampling 5000
thresholds 100 100 100
thresholds_clr 99 99 99
actions gpu gpu gpu
action_info 500000000 389000000 300000000
These values explained.
- Thresholds is the battery percentage at which the throttling occurs. You might think it's weird to have this at 100 but it's how much percentage your battery has depleted. If you still don't get it, subtract the threshold from 100 and that's the percentage at which the throttling happens. In our case it happens at 0% or 1% and by that time your device is already dead.

Would disabling BCL in the kernel achieve the same results? I do not get this throttling that you and others speak of because I read it was caused by BCL and disabled it in my kernel. Phone runs great all the way down to 3% or so.
Seems to be working for me so far. At 38%.

Thanks, but that was not the original question at hand. The question was about your mod in this thread and does it accomplish the same thing by disabling BCL.

Easily googlable.
"BCL polls the battery monitor system for various values such as voltage, current and temperature through the battery. This driver is meant to help prevent possible reboots, but with it removed on several devices we have seen no issues.
The way it prevents reboots is by setting thresholds and when the threshold is passed or tripped, it will throttle or unplug cores, which is detrimental to performance."
After reading this, I've inferred that this is the same as BCL.
Ok. "Work" in DP 5 with elemental X. But reduces The frecuency. Is normal?
Before at 15% the coree 2 and 3 is offline and the frequence is of 1.7, after the cores still online but the frequence is on 1.9

Which means that the throttling is gone. Throttling is turning cores off at lower percentages and keeping frequencies down not at regular.

Huawei P8 Lite OverClock?

Hay everyone!
here, i have some questions... here it goes
Is there any possibility that we will get OC (overclock) for our p8 lite?
If we will get cpu oc will it be possible to overclock GPU?
How much is our gpu capable of and whats the current clock?
Vulkan API support one day???
Thanks!

OC - definetly kernel related
Vulkan API - pretty old gpu sadly, it can receive vulkan, but it depends on Mali
You may be able to overclock the CPU, but it isn't worth it. Already the battery life is bad to terrible(at least in my case) so overclocking a CPU-> making it more power-hungry will crush the battery life. And I'm pretty sure with overclocking we will get maximum +3K points in Antutu

kernel adiutor + stock kernel

Hey there,
Just to let you know that with bootloader unlocked + root (magisk) there is a nice set of tunable option with kernel adiutor. With a bit of entropy and governor tuning, you get even better performance from your a2. That's pretty cool ??
Can you share your settings? Hours of screen, performance... And kernel adiutor setup

disabled cpu boost to avoid cpu stuck at 2,2
Change governor to on demand
Entropy increase to get 40% free
Mostly it.
SOT depend on my use and vary between 4-5 hours to 6+ hours. This is mainly due to two factors:
-network coverage (this can suck your battery like nothing)
- use if BT + viperfx for hours ?
The best way to test it.. is to test it you may have the same increase as me (4 hours sit at most before mod)

the problem is not much in the CPU as it is tested for higher temperatures but for the battery ... as the heat is definitely deleterious ..rather than putting mods (which modify the thermal) I recommend a good custom kernel or alternatively if you want to save battery use morpho (ex spectrum) obviously you must have the root

i've been using my note 7 with thermal mod for about 6 months now, and the highest temp i ever got was 47°c and that was me playing pubg on extreme+smooth settings with the charger on. be very careful when playing on high temps for long period of time as it will destroy your battery like it did with my redmi note 4.

ok but guys do you realize what you're doing? if you play games that require a lot of resources it is obvious that the CPU and GPU heat up now if you didn't know there are pads specially created for this ... they cost about 20 euros, you place the phone in this pad and behind it there is a fan mounted and in addition there are function keys obviously it connects via Bluetooth, and for those who love these games it is the only real solution especially if you spend many hours playing, I have never had thermal problems indeed actually on a leEco the 2 yes but it was a problem that was due to the charging settings too aggressive. so since changing a battery today is not easy and above all it is better to save the phone with one of these pads ...
