What is HEBF?
HEBF(empty heart, full battery)
Created in the midst of a broken heart, on top of this, my device's battery was discharging fast and increasing my fury, then the application was created in 2014 (before in shell) intended to improve battery life and performance of your phone using tweaks and mods.

Battery life on MIUI - Post your experience

I am getting about 3 - 4 days of average usage out of a 100 % charge, running MIUI 1.8.19. I will continue to update this thread with confirmed findings of MIUI users posted here. Other than that, happy flashing!
People experiencing battery drain issues please post the following:
Your running kernel ([email protected] if you didn't flash anything on top)
CPU spy screenshot of a drain (from 100 % to like 20%, you can get CPU spy from market)
Screenshot of stats from the battery monitor in settings
Did you perform a battery recalibration after flash? (Charging the phone to 100 % in off mode, then boot)
My recommendations on increasing battery life:
Keep data on off whenever you don't use it. WiFi does not seem to have battery drain issues, use that instead if you are at home.
Disable albumart and lyrics download in music player, when you dont use it.
The media server can go crazy on battery drain - Even if you don't listen that much to music.
Use another launcher than the standard one. Sometimes in rare occations (happened for me twice though) the launcher keeps the phone out of deep sleep. I have had good results with Go Launcher.

Easy Alternative,
Download Battery Calibration from the market (Free) and install
Do a continuous charge the phone from AC charger recommended instead PC USB to 100% while its on
Follow instruction of the application and rate it well before uninstalling (the app creator made our life easy for free)

You are in the wrong forum, this is the SGSII forum.
But to help you anyway: Using 2G instead of 3G helps alot on the SGS1.

[mini Guide] Solving Performance and battery issues in XXLSA Stock Jelly Bean ROM

Most of us have experienced performance issues with increased upgrades on the N7000. Here is what I figured out so far. Please share your knowledge for that we all may get the best User Experience! :silly:
- Set the mouse pointer speed to a maximum
- Get rid of touchwiz
- turn off Multi-window mode (e.g. Notification Settings Buttons)
- regularly do a soft-reboot ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.greatbytes.fastreboot&hl=en )
- use the JB 4.2 Android keyboard and not the Samsung Keyboard
- turn off background monitoring apps (performance meters etc...)
-Install only software you really need in the first place
-Reboot your phone if you haven't seen in go into Deep Sleep (System-Settings> Battery> Bluebar indicator for "Awake")
- Awaking from Deep Sleep takes a bit - there isn't much you can do. ( e.g. see this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1136223&page=20 )
- By using Apex Launcher, I have around 50% of ca 700Mb in total RAM free after a fresh boot, with various software already installed.
PS: Note that since yesterday ( http://www.gsmarena.com/galaxy_s_iii_gets_android_412_update_brings_note_ii_experience-news-5166.php ) when using the internal OTA update command I get an error that I modified my OS. In other words, Samsung has now flagged its leaked ROM.
Can others confirm this?
The official JB ROM release for the N7000 is probably very imminent, yet will likely not improve much in terms of memory consumption
if you turn off all the animation using Developer Options -> it increases the performance to an extent
Make sure that ALL monitoring software is turned off, when the device is not needed. If you see regular, periodic activity in your battery stats that is a good indicator that some monitoring, or "similar functionality application" is running. Before turning the device to sleep, I do a soft-reboot, kill all running apps and set it to flight mode.
You can get a gouvernor to do this for you - on rooted ROMs. See xda for more information. All experiments were done on the official stock, unrooted JB ROM.
Before (already after some "optimization tinkering"):

}
After:
PS: I generally halfed the animation transition time (i.e. set it to 0.5)
GPS was on (but not utilized).
just quick a question, can any current JB (or even ICS) ROMs give a good battery drain on 2G and standby?
Like the 1 I had during GB, without going into airplane mode:

That really helped my performance on the mobile and my battery , I tested for 1 week and felt a great improvement
trash, just messes up your filesystem and services for 0.5% extra battery (maybe). I read its thread it makes more damage than benefit.
1. fstrim worths nothing on ufs
2. google service - I trust in google they will fix any issues (btw I haven't)
3. zipalign for what +10mb?
4. "...by optimizating the DNS server..." what?
5. faster boot with disabled boot anim... ??? once a week, I really don't care the boot takes for 14 secs or 12 secs

Hi! Dev. I had used this app two months back when it was in devlopment phase. I uninstalled this app as it was in beta. Currently I am using LSpeed. My question is that how HEBF's script is different from LSpeed?? What are features that HEBF provides and Lspeed not??
