Does anyone else have the P9 Lite and a Fitbit Alta? The Fitbit app can't see my Fitbit and just shows Bluetooth errors. When it finally does see my Fitbit it gets as far as entering the pin that pops up on the Fitbit screen and freezes then errors on that
I know the Fitbit is ok as it works on my Motorola X Play!

Alta HR, don't see my tracker at all in Bluetooth. I'm trying to figure out if another ROM or a root workaround exists but can't find anyone who has solved it.

M400 used to work...
M400 and P8Lite and doesn't work anymore. Polar said they don't support Huawei P8Lite and that's it.
I hear the LG phones with 6.0 Android have the same problem too, so might be that it's purely phone manufacturer problem.

On the Parrot carkit in my car I get poor connection with my Moto X force (Droid Turbo 2). When the bluetooth is connected, the telephone connection fails to come up. A2DP is live, though. The HCI dump shows errors in the beginning, but my knowledge of the protocol is not good enough to understand the cause. I managed to get it working once when I cleared the Bluetooth connection app cache and data. Others on the internet suggested doing a factory reset, but this provided no solution to the problem. The phone is running 6.0 with the latest updates. Can someone help? The log is included in the attachment.
OK, A day of frustration, various tests and reading of logs I think I've finally cracked it. The bluetooth headset profile or handsfree profile fails to reconnect after one connection. For this one of two alternatives are an option. Clearing the data/cache of the Bluetooth Share app or going to airplane mode. Unfortunately both are not modifiable via Tasker without root. It irritates me, but at least the phone is now usable, be it with a filthy hack. This seems to be a problem with more than one Moto device, as it is also mentioned extensively on the lenovo/moto forum.

I have the Huawei watch cause my old samsung watch was not compatible with my new 6P. I love this watch but when someone calls me on facebook the call ends immediately. to fix this i have to disable phone audio on my bluetooth settings on the phone. anyone else have this issue. if you do this is the fix. if anyone knows how to make calling from the watch work on messenger i would greatly appreciate it
I also have this issue on my Galaxy S7 Edge, stock with my Huawei Watch. Not sure what the problem is, would be great to find a fix.

I have just received an Alta HR (Fitbit) as a gift for my birthday.
Now, we all know (and NOW I KNOW) that Alta HR does not communicate with our device. But, searching on the Fitbit site and on web I saw that Alta Hr communicates with P8, instead.
What I'm trying to understand is if i can fake my bluetooth as my P9 lite looks like a P8 to my Alta HR.
Is this possible or am I just a dreamer?
P.S. Until I had Samsung smartphone, i used to mod my devices, so i am not afraid to work on my P9 lite.

Even though the P9 lite isnt a supported device it synced with my fitbit Blaze. I could not get it to perform initial setup, but after the blaze was setup via computer it synced with the p9lite. You can try to set it UP via computer or another phone and try sync after.
