Test yourself and see. I don't know if we're going to have constant updates from Maclaw, so I decided to do the port. CM 11 by TeamCanjica is under development.
CM 11 by Team P8 is very stable and have constant updates

Little off topic but how were you able to unlock Redmi 3 ??? Because even with Xiaomi permission Miunlock doesn't support Redmi 3.

Good work! I am thinking of buying this device. Is there any possibility of inline kernel building without kernel source from Xiaomi? Maybe this guide would be useful, kumajaya was able to bring source by importing CAF tag and many commits from related developer-friendly devices (YU).

Yep it will be possible. Currently dtb is being extracted. Also Xiaomi will release proper kernel source as they promised.

Did they? I wouldn't bet anything on their promise. Maybe in a year we'll get GPL code, and even after this time, it'll be still incomplete.

Is it a kernel issue to port cm13 instead of cm12.1?

What works:
Calls seem to work (it's late here, so I just dialed and it was connecting)
DPI changer on the fly works
Bluetooth scanning
Data connection works
Dual SIM works
Setup wizard doesn't FC
WiFi
Fingerprint
Google Play App Install
What doesn't work:
NFC
Camera (tried Google Camera, no picture)
Haven't tested DASH charge
Overall impression: fast, pretty smooth. That launcher took me back to my Galaxy Nexus or Nexus 4 days Don't know about battery cause I didn't keep the system for long. Phone was a little warm but it's to be expected with nandroid, flashing and app optimization.
Amazing work so far, I'm looking forward to next releases and I'm wishing all devs continuing success and a lot of energy! Had one reboot though when I entered the launcher one time, corrupted some screenshots so I don't have many.

Maybe a mod can change the topic title. Idk.
Just used the title that fits most. When the maintainer create a thread i also have no problem that a mod close / delete this here.

I am just saying that you cant open a thread in development section just to post links to an official rom. You can do it in general but not here. Let a real developer do it.

Yes, that is to discuss development. Having a thread here is a good way to keep the non-development stuff out of that thread. Too often the development threads got cluttered with n00b questions.

Go to the first post in each thread and click on "Delete project" at the top right - or ask moderators/admins.

Lol no rookie bro. Its a problem with XDA when you try to create any thread. Once you click the Create button, it means thread is created. Youll feel as if nothing happened, but that's the truth. Wait sometime and then close the webpage/Labs app. Reopen and voila! Thread created
