I hate the stock Rom written those big Icons and the missing methods, I knew from my S4 with am actual cyanogenmod.
Is there a way to use the current kernel to build a cm Rom?

Unfortunately you can not. Only way to get a S5 Touchwiz is to root it and flash a Touchwiz S5 ROM.

Without rooting only option is a launcher like S Launcher on the playstore. Good luck, and join the darkside, it's not so bad :good:

If by "custom rom" you mean like aosp based like cm or something, not possible, has to be a tw based rom for it to work.
