If the charger works for a Plus it will work for the G4. They both have the same battery.
I got one of these for my G4, pops up turbo charging on the screen when in use https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01HYXHHGK/ref=cm_sw_r_taa_0w1cybP17S0AQ

Nothing is better than moto turbo power! It's way faster

I've read the Anker (and Aukey too?) brand of QC 2.0/3.0 chargers are good quality and could be cheaper than Moto Turbo chargers. Besides, I'm not sure if QC chargers would vary that much in charging speed, as I imagine the power management would regulate the current/voltage as if it were a stock charger. There's a limit to how much power you can feed into your battery!
Means turbo charger is best for our Moto??

If you want to ensure compatibility - yes, though any charger with Quick Charge 2.0 (certified, ideally) should be okay.
Just make sure, with either a Moto Turbo charger or 3rd party charger, you buy a genuine charger.

Please post in the "Accessories" subforum. Also, all power banks should work but QC 2/3.0 batteries would work the best as the G4 has quick charge.
The moto g4 plus has a 3000mA battery and sometimes heats a lot. I would suggest something around 4000mA that could give at least a complete charge . Take something big though, because if the powerbank warms up the phone will do it as well, so no chinese stuff!
Been using Anker's PowerCore 10000 with QuickCharge 3.
The phone accept it as if was a turbopower charger.
From it's 10.000mah it delivers an usable power of 6000. Witch means 2 100% charges.

Charging speed

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Moto G5S Plus can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Superfast
It charges pretty fast with the Moto charger given with the box, but with other chargers, it's too slow.
I have found that most QuickCharge 2.0 or 3.0 chargers will also trigger the TurboCharging mode on this phone.

Actually, it's perfectly safe to charge any device with a QuickCharge 2.0 or 3.0 charger. These chargers are "smart" and will only do what the charge circuit is capable of accepting.
I use this charger to charge my Asus Zenwatch 3 (and Zenwatch 2) smartwatch and my Moto G5S Plus (and previously my Motorola Nexus 6), all of which has some sort of Quick/Turbo Charging technology.

I also use this 10000mAh power bank to charge my G5S Plus on the go, and it is also QuickCharge 3.0, which also triggers the Moto TurboCharge feature.

And finally, I use this in the car for charging all of the above, which is also QC 3.0 and TurboCharges my G5S Plus.

On Android Pie charging speed is limited to prevent overheating.

Dash Charge Capable Power Bank

Is there any power bank that supports dash charging? I'm using a OnePlus 6T and as it uses 5V-4A i.e. 20w charging, is there any power bank capable of doing that??
Thanks in advance.. ???
Just found this via a quick search: https://www.amazon.com/Sdoutech-10000-Portable-Charge-Oneplus/dp/B078K8TZQ1 no idea if
I personally would just find the highest wattage bank from a reputable manufacturer. I think anker has an 18w with usb c input which would be close enough for me.
Some days ago, I have bought the powerbank mentioned by @tocogi73R.
I tested it for a short time, because I dont need a powerbank very often, so I cannot give that much feedback. But
- Charging the powerbank is very fast
- Charging the OnePlus with that powerbank is very fast
So, as far as I can tell, the OnePlus fast charge seems to work here. However, I cannot give any feedback about long-term use or battery life of the powerbank, yet.
The problem with anker power banks is, that they only support qualcomm quick charge. And chick charge does not work for OnePlus devices, so the charging of a OnePlus device with a qualcomm quick charge powerbank is as slow as every usual powerbank.
However, you have to be clear about the fact that the Sdoutech power bank will charge other phones quite slow, which do not support oneplus fast charge. So, if you ever will buy a phone, which is not by OnePlus, this powerbank will be quite slow. So, the Sdoutech power bank will only be the best solution as long as you use a OnePlus device. But if you do, it seems the best solution.
