Suggest me best quick charger to buy - Moto G4 Plus Questions & Answers

Are there any other quick charger available in market which charges faster then OEM turbo charger???

Nothing is better than moto turbo power! It's way faster
Sent from my Moto G4 Plus using Tapatalk

I've read the Anker (and Aukey too?) brand of QC 2.0/3.0 chargers are good quality and could be cheaper than Moto Turbo chargers. Besides, I'm not sure if QC chargers would vary that much in charging speed, as I imagine the power management would regulate the current/voltage as if it were a stock charger. There's a limit to how much power you can feed into your battery!

Means turbo charger is best for our Moto??

If you want to ensure compatibility - yes, though any charger with Quick Charge 2.0 (certified, ideally) should be okay.
Just make sure, with either a Moto Turbo charger or 3rd party charger, you buy a genuine charger.

Confirm that it's working great
Recommend Tronsmart qc2.0 chargers, They are qualcomm certified, and featured quick charge brand.
I just bought a tronsmart QC charger for my car. How do I know if quick charge is working though? It just displays charging still...

On stock, it'll display turbo power connected. If cm, use Ampere from the play store
Hmm OK well I don't think the one I bought is really a quick charger unless my car simply doesn't put enough power out?! It only displays charging and I'm on stock.

Check using Ampere in market.
Charging time
Hi Guys does ant tested how much time it is taking to fully charged from 0%.
Does any one have turbo 25 charger if yes how much it is taking to fully charged with that turbo 25 charger.
I have the same question as sandeep,
how long does the turbo need to charge the bat?
Does the Turbo charger simply has more power than standard chargers, or is there anything else special or proprietary?
More amperage,my turbo charger is 2.4a, whereas standard ones are 1a I believe
There's more to it than just straight amperage in the charging circuit, here is a good explanation of it
http://www.androidauthority.com/quick-charge-explained-563838/
The newer fast charge systems use a stepped system to always give the most amps the battery can take for any given situation. There is actually 3 systems right now (I hate when everyone can't agree)
There is Quick Charge 2.0 (QC 2.0) used by Moto & HTC, 2nd the new USB-C connector has its own spec for fast charge but unfortunately a lot of the USB-C coming on newer devices are only using the old USB 2.0 spec - so no fast charge available. Last but not least One Plus has their own unique fast charge spec.
From what I have read if you have a good USB cable (one designed for charging) and you have USB adapter capable of at least 3.0 amps it might trigger the QC 2.0 circuit in the phone to go into turbo mode but it is not a given fact, more like trial and error.
The phone needs more than 5 hours to charge fully. The quick charger is a must have i my eyes.
I'll order the TurboPower™ 15 now.
delete because wrong thread

Stupid question about charging.

I know this is a very stupid question, but I understand that the Moto X Pure comes with a turbo charger, is it ok if I charge my phone with a regular charger? I only have the original turbo charger and can't buy another one for now. So I leave the original at home.
I'm asking because I don't know if it can damage the battery.

It is actually better for the battery to use a non-Turbo charger of sufficient quality and output, less heating and degradation... Using the Turbo charger all the time will shorten battery life longevity. I use a 1.8A charger from a BB Playbook, works great.

Yes its completely fine.
Even more, I recommend to use the fast charger only in case of emergency! If you have time use a 5V 1A charger for a longer battery longevity.

If the charger works for a Plus it will work for the G4. They both have the same battery.
I got one of these for my G4, pops up turbo charging on the screen when in use https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01HYXHHGK/ref=cm_sw_r_taa_0w1cybP17S0AQ

Slow Charging

Nowadays, my battery charges slower as compared to before. I used to get 20% change in 15 mins and 40% in 30 mins, but now it charges 30% in 30 mins and 12% in 15 mins.
What can be the issue, is there any problem in charger or I should replace my battery????

Check for wakelocks! Don't use while charging

Also, is this with the same turbo charger you mentioned last time or with a different charger?

Then change charger (either buy a new turbo charger or see if someone can loan you one) and test. If the battery charging improves, it's your charger/charging cable. If not, might be your battery or power management.
What if I take my bill (not mobile) to service centre to get replacement of charger. Is IMEI written on bill?

I don't know if your IMEI is written on the bill, you could look it up (think the IMEI is usually written on there, so they may check your device warranty. Seems that accessory warranty is tied to your device warranty).
As for power management, could be software or hardware (either the system or the chips controlling the power supply).
Simplest thing would be to buy a new charger if you can and test. I recall you mentioned that a normal charger works so perhaps your Turbo charger is not working properly, but without testing with a good known/new turbo or QuickCharge charger, it's difficult to say.
EDIT - also don't forget that your charging rates will depend on how empty/full your battery is, as well as how hot your device is and if you're using it.

Yeah my previous issue was fixed, I tried keeping my phone for charging for whole night for two consecutive nights and now there is no quick drainage.
I will take my friend's Moto G4 plus (in warranty) if issue persists to replace charger.
Also there is a visible damage in change's wire as it's left most node is shifted lil bit inside, hope changing cable fixes my issue

Are there 3rd party qi chargers that can do 15w?

I've seen some on amazon that list 15w, so i'm curious if those work or not, or is this a similar situation as 25/45w chargers that need some specific configuration for the note to confirm.
I have tried 2, and no, just 7.5~10 W, but that is enough for me

You may be interested in a new Qi Charger that has just been launched on Kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/qipatch/qipatch-turn-all-your-cables-into-wireless-chargers
I asked them about Note 10 in the comments section and they confirmed it will be using 15W charging.
Problem with all above is you need the correct wall charger that can out 15w
