How do i know my phone is unlock or superCID

How do i make sure my phone is unlock and SuperCID. I know if i insert another cariier sim card and if it i can make phone call then it is unlock. is there any other way to say or test is my phone unlock?
What about SuperCID?

Use mtty (read here)

Hi
I use mtty to read bootloader, and return this info:
With info 2 - HTCSSuperCIDHTCE
with info 4 - HTCSQTEK_506žW’ŸHTCE
In wiki they booth should Return "HTCS" + CID + (4-byte checksum) + "HTCE"
Is my CID - Supercid? or Qtek_506?
What means Qtek_506, what is the CID for Vodafone PT?

[Q] [Tattoo] briked ???

Hi,
I've try to flash my HTC Tattoo but I mess it up ... It's no more detected when usb connected
What it do when I turn it on now :
Power Btn => TATTOO on screen and No led (does nothing on key press)
Power Btn + Vol up => Vibrate 3x + Green Led but nothing on screen (does nothing on key press)
Power Btn + Vol down =>HBOOT menu (I can access fastboot from there even Fastboot USB but not detected by my Laptop)
Power Btn + Home + Back => CLEARSTORAGE
Is there a solution or should I head for a new phone ??

If you have made a goldcard you can flash the original rom from fastboot.
Maybe you can and without goldcard(I had success 1-2 times). You need to run the RUU utility of stock rom and go to your temp directory and search for rom.zip(don't close RUU window before copy this file somewhere else). Then rename it to CLICIMG.zip, copy it to sd card and flash the rom via fastboot.

You need a goldcard or the correr ROm to your CID.
If you have a orange, vodafone, etc phone, you need it's shipped ROM.
If you don't have it, you a need a goldcard to bypass the CID.

My Phone is not simlocked ... I've bought it from one provider and I put a other provider's sim
How can I find my phone's CID ? If it can helps I still have the box.
As I have not make a goldcard I wonder if someone can give me the link to it ...

Can't debrand using gold card

Hi guys, I currently have the Desire HD on Orange. Sadly branded and very bloated (the phone takes a minute to boot which is annoying as i know its meant to be a lot faster than that) I'm currently on software 1.40.61.2
Anyway I'm attempting to debrand it, i've created a gold card which seems to work nicely
I've tried flashing the latest RUU HTC firmware "RUU_Ace_HTC_WWE_1.32.405.6_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26.03.02.26_M_release_155891_signed" but i'm getting the error message "ERROR [140]: BOOTLOADER VERSION ERROR)"
Any way to get past this? If not do I have to root my phone to do it?

Need help about downgrade, TOUGHEST problem ever!! Softbank 001HT DHD

Hi all,
I've been in a trouble that never been before. And after several tries, lots of google, I have to ask for help
I've got a Desire HD locked to Softbank Japan (001HT) comes with v2.37.726.2 with S-ON and can NOT access to any menu except emergency call.
So I can't enable USB Debugging, can't flash to another version although I have goldcard already (Main version is older! problem).
Phone can go to recovery, fastboot can see phone, but ADB NOT.
Tried all mode recovery, hboot usb, normal mode (only emergency call) and HTC original upgrade tools can't connect to phone as well.
So, the situation is: can't enable USB Debugging, phone not allow to flash to any older version, can't ADB. ONLY HBoot usb fastboot can see phone.
Anyone have experience with this before?
Willing to donated some $$$ if can help me out.

You cannot downgrade that build, because HTC added some new security measures. Sorry, but you are stuck before someone finds a new way to downgrade.

That's sad Any chances to flash to higher version or whatever so at least I can use the phone as a PDA?

This file works. Although there is no solution to downgrade 2.37, but at least it can by pass that stupid emergency dial only and allow to input unlock code / or use it as a PDA

What did you do to get into this trouble?
I was thinking of trying to downgrade my Softbank 001HT so I can root it again.. but maybe not if this is the result??

This Japanese phone need special way to enter the Airplane mode without the SIM card. I translate from a Japanese site:
1. Slide down to enter Emergency call interface.
2. Put and hold the Power button for few seconds, a dialog will appear, select Airplane mode
3. Touch the Home button
4. Now you can use the phone, change the settings, root, and unlock it

Question: I put my phone into airplane mode and was able to access a screen where I could read "Sim network subset unlock pin".
So I got an HTC unlock code from a trusted website. After I input the code, it said: "Invalid password"; and my phone still is sim-locked. Am I doing something wrong? Does "sim network subset unlock pin" mean the same as "sim unlock code"? I'm lost here...

You could try a hard reset to see if clearing the data will help. This will remove all of your data, but you might recover your phone.
Can you show a larger picture with all of phone on boot screen, with while part of screen that says "serial" or "USB". If nothing appears there, that could be a possible problem too.
If you have access to XTC Clip (you own it?), you can try flashing factory rom, then doe XTC unlock again. I am assuming you used XTC Clip to security unlock, and use a different sim card?
Did it stop working after XTC Clip, or during Zune update, or... just stopped working for no real reason?

i own xtc clip i use it in right way
my just stopped working for no real reason
i used xtc after the problem appear
