SM-N910F hard bricked need debrick.img pleaaaase help !!!!!!!! - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed my note 4 n910f BOG with the Kyubi ROM Port N5 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/kyubi-rom-port-n5-n910f-coj3-v5-t3254964 ) using odin but after that my note 4 starts to lag and reboot several times so i wanted to reflash it with the stock rom 5.1.1 BOG found in sammobile but even after that my note 4 lags a lot and reboots by itself and one day it stops and never boot at first I though that my motherboard was bricked but when i plug it to PC it shows that there is a RELINK HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mounted under Ports (COM and LPT) in device manager.
I need a debrick.img for my N910F to resolve this problem using an SD card 32gb.
Please help.:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

A friend come to me with a note 4 exactly like your with emmc read error. I tried flashing stock rom but no result. After that i flashed stock rom 4 files version with PIT and repartition ... but nothing. The trick with what i succeded was to flash stock rom with odin 3.10.6 and when the flashing process starts just tap the screen from 10 to 10 seconds until the process succeded. I know it seems stupid but this saved the phone. Homewer after 3 weeks my friend called me and said that the phone completly died. And one more tip, remove and put back battery between each attemp to flash stock rom with odin.

I think this can help us... Just take the bootloader from here and the pit and guide from attachments and try it. it may save your phones.

One more thing.. Here are the .SDC files for direct sdcard boot repair. So choose what sdc you need and try to flash.
The flash procedure is this:
1.Put the .SDC file to your sdcard (sdcard must be formated as FAT32 and must be SDHC max 16GB)
2.On the phone press VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER
3.If all is ok the phone will display SDCARD MODE and will try to flash the phone with the file provided to sdcard
4. IF the process went ok now you have to flash the phone with odin and stock rom.
If the phone didnt boot to SDCARD Mode you will need a USB JIG that you can buy from ebay or somewhere else...
I hope this help you.

The only way is that file I shared or a USB JIG.

Thank you all for your help. Today i delivered my phone to samsung for repairs in the hope that it has warrantee. Will hear from them within 2 weeks. If they wont repair within warranty i will try this. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Maybe someone knows more than i do. Will my custom rom flashing behavior affect the longevity of my beloved phones motherboard? I tend to do that a lot. I come from an HTC where there is no lock in the boot-loader anymore and am affraid that my flashing frenzy might have broken my phone. It shouldn't play a role, should it?

Also, if you can, Download this, install it, connect the SD Card to PC directly, choose the drive on which the SD is mounted in the "Device" option and click on "Read". It will create an img file which I can then write onto my sd card. If you can do this, it'd be a big help

I've had these same kind of symptoms for a few weeks. Then I flashed Debloated ROM v5 and got Wake lock app from the Google play and while maybr this is a work around, my phone has been flawless ever since wake lock was installed. Flashing didn't cause any problems.

Copy-paste won't work because SDC files are dedicated for ATF box and related ATF software. Don't waste our time.

You may want to realize the difference between a EFS-based bootloop, versus what I am looking for after a hard brick.
But thank you for your input.
How did you brick it? - Reason I ask, is cause the w8 is downgradable from 4.4.2 so bootloader playing should not have affected you. Unless you flashed something on it you shouldn't have?
Its not mine, but for someone else who asked me to help. I am not sure how it was bricked. Regardless it is a hard brick..

Hello i'm about to perform this method..Just wanted to confirm with someone that I can use any of the debrick.img provided for version 4.4.2 on my w8. Thanks! I hope to god this works!
Just and FYI -
You don't mention it in the steps about actually putting the sdcard with the unbrick image into the phone again. I assume at or after 3.3 .
Unbelievable ! This worked for me as well. This feature of the Note 3 makes it tinkerer's dream, it makes it virtually brick-proof. I thought I was done when I could not get back to download mode. I was starting to plan out what I was going to do for my next phone.
By the way in my case it was a N900W8 from Puerto Rico. I purchased it locked to Clairo and unlocked it and flashed to Telus stock ROM. If anyone else has gone this route this method works to unbrick. At first it would not go into download, I had to pull the battery and let it sit for a day. The next day I put in a fresh battery and it booted right to the download selector screen. WAhooo! ...and I was off to the races. Much thanks to the OP and the OOP for this solution.
FYI - formatting the sdcard with the boot recovery partition makes it unusable in the state. Just reformat it again to Fat32 and you can use it as a sdcard again. If you have trouble formatting it I used Mini Tools Partition Wizard, it does the trick.

[Q] I hard bricked my T-Mobile Note 4. Does anyone have a debrick file?

I did something really dumb tonight. I was trying to flash CM12.1 on my note 4, and before I rebooted the phone, a prompt came up which asked if I wanted to root the phone. Since my phone was already rooted with the stock software I had before, and because I wanted to keep my phone rooted, I selected yes.
Big mistake! My phone then shut off and now won't turn back on. I guess what ended up happening is the phone was trying to read a file that wasn't there (since I already clean flashed CM12.1 on the phone), and subsequently caused it to brick. I don't know what I was thinking by selecting yes. Very stupid of me.
Anyways, I figure if I can get a debrick file and put it on an SD card, I should be able to frankenstein my phone back from the dead. I've done it before in the past with a Samsung Galaxy S3, so I know it's possible. I've scoured google for a debrick file for the T-Mobile variant (N910T), and I've come up with nothing so far. If anyone knows of a debrick file that exists for the T-Mobile Note 4, or can provide me with one, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

hi there ... did you ever get one of these? I need a debrick file too for my Note 4!
I have a thread with a file, that if someone with the COD6 bootloader will run and upload the results that will fix my device and any others on the COD6 bootloader.
Just run this Unbrick Image Creator in recovery & it'll create "/sdcard/Unbrick_Files" in your internal SD card.

If you can get to download mode, you can fix this issue. Odin back to stock!

Try to find a stock service images for your note to flash with Odin. These service images are separated files that you put in Odin in PIT BL AP CP. Also I would suggest that you try it first with KK rather than lollipop.

base from the other forum some successfully revive it using N910F but since the pit file they have doesn't include N910G, i was wondering if your PIT file and Battlehero's BL (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=41389) would work if created via odin using the T-Flash feature. with that it would be possible to do Download mode from the SD card.

Which Driver you are talking about?, Yes, all drivers already installed for odin, Created Sd card successfully, but no luck. Which Note 4 model do you have, And what was the problem with that. I posted/Shared the guide here as soon as i get that.

Sorry didnt read who was op lol mine is a sm-n910f flashed a pit file and it refused to even show any life but when plugged in would come up as qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008
Same problem here. Did you solve your hard brick?
Same problem here. How you created the SD Card ? Can you help me creating it ? I am unable to understand the meaning of "normal device". Does this means i need another working note 4 ? Or any other device would work ? Also do i have to install completely new software to the "normal device" before creating the sd card ?

Normal means, a working device - similar model.
Better to do a factory data reset on working phone (after backing up) and create debrick image (it reduces the time and space needed on SD card).
If it does work, do share your image to others.

[Help with a test] Unbrick method for Note 4

So I recently stumbled upon a recovery PIT for the APQ8084 (which is the Snapdragon 805) and the accommodating PDF for recovering. How the story goes: (PDF will be attached as well)
1) Open ODIN3, load a pit file (zipped in attachments)
2) Load BL file from a correct bootloader (i.e. N910T's DOK2)
3) Select repartition, T Flash (which will flash stuff onto an SD card / TF card that is 4GB or bigger) from a WORKING Note 4
4) Hit start and the files will flash onto the SD CARD, NOT the phone.
5) Insert the SD card into a NON WORKING Note 4, and try to power on via download mode button combo.
Sounds like this should work with a bricked Note 4 for T-Mobile. Anyone got a bricked Note 4 + a working Note 4, and an SD card >4GB?
Got a hard bricked one (N910T) here and would like to test it, anyone got the image of booting SD?
Thanks

Load up the N910T DOK2 BL tar into ODIN, and run the instructions listed in the PDF please.
If someone does end up making a working SD card, one could image it and provide it for the rest of the forum

I have 2 SM-N910T unbrick.img files, one I made myself by using Unbrick Creator on a working SM-N910T (OK2) and one I downloaded. I am new to xda but contact me and I will email them to you.

I have a hard bricked SM-N910A. Don't know what version it was running because the customer brought it like that, all it does is come up in Device Manager as QHSUSB_BULK, screen stays off, no vibration and no light at the top.
I will test this method tomorrow with another working Note 4 (AT&T) and report back. :good:

Sweet, that N910A is the perfect candidate for recovery testing ??
I don't certainly need the N910T files because I have a working phone, I'm only trying to see if this method works for recovery lol

The instruction (was the same for S3 back then) is that you need a WORKING phone to make the bootable SD, my is Hard Bricked It won't works ... Since you have a working phone it should be easy for you to created the bootable SD and then Backup it to share it with us here.

I can make an SD card, but I unfortunately can't image it. I don't have the proper microSD to SD card converter.
No luck
I tested it, made the boot recovery sd with a working phone, put the sd card in the bricked phone and all it did was vibrate. But no download mode, and the computer didn't pick it up at all.
Tested with NK3, OC2, OC6 and OI2, no luck, but it would only vibrate with the sd in it.
When the sd was not in the phone it would come up as QHSUSB_BULK.

Dumb question: did you use the key combo for D/L mode? If it didn't work, that's a bit unfortunate...

Great new, so it's look like you have got a good file which cann be read with the SD card so there is still hope ... did you try to power your N4 up with Vol down + Power to go to download mode? or try Vol up + power to go to recovery?
I have sent you a PM to where you can sent me those files?
Thanks

Yes of course I tried the DL mode combo and also the recovery one, no luck.
But as I said the phone would only vibrate with the SD, so it tried booting, but maybe it needed the exact same bootloader it had before it bricked.
I still have the files I'll reply right now.
Can you give me the SD card image i have the same problem :highfive::highfive::highfive:
Thanks

I will add my 2 cents to this test. I am new to the forum and like to help out with the cause as I fell victim to a hard bricked N910T. I borrowed a friends working N910T. Used a 8GB SDHC card and T Flashed the APQ8084_boot_recovery_v2.pit and BL_N910T_DOK2.tar bootloader file (just google you will find it). Placed it on the hard bricked N910T, while pressing the DL mode combination and it just vibrated with no image on the screen. Took me a few tries and cursing (button combination, vibrate, wait 4 seconds, take out battery, put it back, repeat). It finally boots to download mode. I flashed the pit file: TRLTE_USA_TMO.pit and got the boot screen working. Now my problem is with flashing the OS firmware, but ran into more problems (Odin: flash write failure and Emmc write failure).
