Hi I have a restarting problem and i would like to get the updates as well to see if it would help I am in Jamaica and i used Orbots vpn feature to get an US address but it still said my device is up to date and it's running G935AUCU2APD1_ATT2APD1 when G935AUCS2APE1_ATT2APE1 should be available (correct me if i'm wrong)

G935AUCS2APF2 is the latest however without root I don't believe you can even extract the OTA file once it downloads.

You didn't try to root it? I should be getting the phone today so I may try it. Any idea where we can get the latest MetroPCS firmware w/o using that pay site? I know someone posted som MetroPCS firmware on here but I think there are 2 newer firmwares.

So when you do an over the air update does it update your bootloader?
Device runs hotter than before with this update, also got a overheated message after I came back to view if update was completed. Never had this before.
Check, another fail I guess.

You think you are gonna get a different answer if you post this question in different threads? If you read about Magisk, you would know it only works with unlocked bootloaders. Maybe in the future someone will get something to work, and as soon as that happens it will be posted here in the forums..
So is this version rootable with engboot or not? I cannot find a definite answer.

[Guide] Online Firmware finder

Hello there,
Since a lot of users are using Huawei firmware finder app on desktop or phone and it's relatively slow I guess this link should be posted for quick search instead.
This is a Russian site, but you can translate it or not since it's really easy to navigate and it finds all results pretty fast.
You can even search Model number + carrier at the same time( for example FRD-L09C10) and it will filter only those results with changelog and download link. It's always up-to-date and faster than desktop or mobile app of Huawei firmware finder.
Link: http://hwmt.ru/hwmtsite/база-найденных-прошивок/
PS: I'm not the owner of this site.
You can also use this address format if you don't speak Russian:
http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=FRD-L04C567
Replace FRD-L04C567 with the model you're looking for.
Though your link is in a prettier format.

Fed up with lack of updates

I have had a Mate 9 since early January and had about 2 updates. It's on MHA-l29c636b158 with February security updates.
I have an Aussie Telstra SIM and a Singapore SIM in it.
Why are updates (especially security updates) so slow with Huawei? Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance,
MHA-l29C636B172 is official updates.
Just update man there are plenty of guides here on how to manually flash. The software is there. Just gotta flash it.

I tried the firmware finder trick using proxy and pushing update to phone then removing proxy and downloading but getting authentication issues, tried again but this time just before authentication, I changed to data and out off WiFi still authentication problems.
Same for B180 and B181.
I'm on C636B172 BTW
I think C636 is the worst to get updates

Yeah, mine are grayed out as well. The main LTEFUNCTIONALITY screen isn't but once you click the APN2 LTE Internet button to edit settings, it's grayed out. I'm on Sprint note 8 Oreo build.
