Hi Guys,
I have just ordered Coolpad Note 3 from amazon.. I can't find any working root methods for this phone. The device has MT6753 SoC which is same in Elephone P8000.
the kernel source code of Elephone is available https://github.com/elephone-dev/P8000-Kernel
I'll will be extremely grateful if somebody port a ROM for Coolpad Note 3 or atleast a custom recovery / working root method.

I have both mobile and P8000 my my mistake display not coming so i buy Coolpad note 3,
I had very try to root but not sucess...... Above 25 method but.... I faled to Root.....
Read back by SP Tool and etc....
Lets See Company will give support or not....
I told him but... Company Alwasy saying We will give Rooting Guide Soon.

I have a good news to all of you. A helping person from India named Amit khatkar has developed a root method and CWM for our Coolpad Note 3. I have tried and got the root. Many thanks to Mr.Amit khatkar and his friend for working on the rooting.
Clockworkmode recovery is V6.05.5.1
Its very easy to root with the help of PC.
Remember that rooting of your device voids the warranty. I am just sharing the link. Neither me nor Mr. Amit Khatkar are responsible if anything haapens to your phone. So please do the rooting at your own risk

Thanks Rajaul, I have been following your updates on coolpad from the second flash sale i.e when i bought the phone.You have already been very helpful and now ROOT!! Sorry that i could thank only once.I have successfully rooted my coolpad 3 with CWM.However i've had no success with TWRP.Any suggestions??

I tried installing android Oreo on my Ze552kl, but the installation was not finalized successfully.
So I decided it would be smarter to install the rom along with a Recovery and do a Root Direct.
Does anyone have a Tutorial, or any indication of Rom with less bugs in Oreo?

Hi there! I have an Asus Zenfone 3 5.5, which here in Brazil is the model Z012DC. I'm looking for a way to root it and also for a ROM which doesn't come with gapps. I've seen the thread called "Canadian Thread", but it didn't help at all. Do you guys know some way to do it? I wish some kind of LineageOS or some old CyanogenMod ROM, but really didn't find much.
