Hi Guys,
I have just ordered Coolpad Note 3 from amazon.. I can't find any working root methods for this phone. The device has MT6753 SoC which is same in Elephone P8000.
the kernel source code of Elephone is available https://github.com/elephone-dev/P8000-Kernel
I'll will be extremely grateful if somebody port a ROM for Coolpad Note 3 or atleast a custom recovery / working root method.

I have both mobile and P8000 my my mistake display not coming so i buy Coolpad note 3,
I had very try to root but not sucess...... Above 25 method but.... I faled to Root.....
Read back by SP Tool and etc....
Lets See Company will give support or not....

Thanks Rajaul, I have been following your updates on coolpad from the second flash sale i.e when i bought the phone.You have already been very helpful and now ROOT!! Sorry that i could thank only once.I have successfully rooted my coolpad 3 with CWM.However i've had no success with TWRP.Any suggestions??

No solution with Meizu. Don't unlock the phone and if you try to flash an rom from SP Flash Tool you need an "auth" file for flash it.

Found anythings on internet about this . Nothing about stock rom , odin , other software for recovery .
After root with apk Kingroot , I unistall useless App,then restart my tablet and... bootloop without restarting , it just shows the brand logo for hours .

I'm searching too for stock 5.1.1 rom for this device. I found rom for YT3-850M (not "L"), installed but only chinese and english language available, wifi and mobile data don't work.

Hi, i'm about to madness ... I need to install the stock rom for my 850l . I tried, but no way. The tablet in first place has installed Lenovo drivers an i cant replace its with the qualcomm's ones. If you have the solution PLEASE, help me!!

I also would like this. Its interesting to note the i9500 had got miui 8 now. People have told me we don't have a marshmallow bootloader. But neither does the i9500, so its possible, just a case of weather someone wants to or not. I want to but I'm not too experienced, I haven't got enough time and my computer is trash.

It's not that difficult.
Take an already built base rom (CM13) and apply the appropriate miui patchrom to it.

Hello guys,i flash miui 8 with mini gapps kit kat for miui ,after that i make dalvik and cake after that reboot.Everything work perfect in my S4 I9505 but i have one big problem i thinq.My sim card not work and signal not exist at all,you know why.Wait advice if any know how can i resolve this problem,thanks in advance.

Hi, I have flashed the ROM and then I realized it's not the MIUI8 as declared. It just have status bar style changed and settings from MIUI8.
Understand, let's hope that somebody find gold solution for our device....

if you want to root this device please follow this video note i'm not responsible if you brick your android device and note that im not the original owner of this rooting method just want to share with you guys if you still want to root and install twrp on your device. Note this is only for asus ID version running Nougat 7.0 check on about phone for more details

We should inform lineage devs to divide korean S7 device tree separate from international S7 because of different partition size.
I just followed the guide from lineageos and hackandgeeks youtube video guide and used sm-g930s(korean model) to extract blob. I can share my virtual device file If you want(Vmware)

Lineage devs has merged Korean models partition to next week official build so we won't need to resize anything just directly flash the ROM like everybody else.
