Possible to root Asus Zenpad 8.0 Z380c? - Asus Zenpad 8.0 Questions & Answers

Hello!
Has anyone had any luck rooting the Zenpad 8.0 Z380c? I've seen threads on rooting similar tablets, but not for this one specifically. I've also tried the basic methods such as Kingroot, but with no success. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I too would be interested in this. I bought one because I liked the hardware specs it had, but it is loaded with so much bloatware.

[Q] HELP! Root for Sprint Galaxy Tab 4 T237

Hello All,
I'm digging around threads and cannot find a sure fire root method for my Sprint Galaxy Tab 4 7" (T237). If someone could point me towards a definitive good method of rooting my device I'd appreciate it. I've rooted almost all of my phones with Odin and never had an issue but can't seem to find anything. I sort of need a sure fire way to root because I did not add insurance on my device and I used to work for Sprint so getting a phone replaced wasn't an issue. I just want to cover all my bases that the data/LTE will remain working after root. Thanks in advance!!

This only safe thing I can suggest is kingroot http://www.kingroot.net/down (click first download) you can search on YouTube on how to use kingroot so yeah. If that doesn't work, then your going to have do it another way

Root? Twrp?

Today I picked up this phone. Got the SAMSUNG-SM-J320VPP on Verizon version with Android 6.0.1. Is there any way of installing Twrp and rooting this device? I've seen a bunch of variants to this device but not really this version in particular. Got it for the nfc but unfortunately this model lacks nfc and Walmart was out of the Virgin Mobile model. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

thanks for your interest in replying..however it seems that you just replied with rooting method in general and not knowing the real issue about this specific device..
None of this methods works for this device as of the moment.
I think you also do not have the same device as me so it's really hard to provide something that you're unsure of

Is the SM-J327VPP [Verizon] Rootable?

I see guides for a J327P, is this the same model? Furthermore, I don't see much mention of Verizon variants. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Probably no root method for it yet then. You can try kingroot, but it my not work.

Will Root format my Phone?

Samsung SM-G955U w/ Android 8.0. Really annoyed by all the bloatware that's on this. Can I root this phone without a format? I found a bunch of different guides but not sure which one is best for me.
What do you think?
Thanks!

No format is a must. Look in the s8 plus threads for the latest method
Will it require downgrading my version of Android?

Yes only 7.0 is rootable. Think of it more as a side grade. Downgrade is not possible
Thanks for the quick reply. Can you provide me a link to that thread? I couldn't find it when I previously looked.
