Yes, with missing link it looks really weird Sorry for that, it's fixed now

One thing I have to say - you really depend on many customization options... totally different type of usage if compared to what I expect from my Z3C.
I only use stock apps, stock launcher and no serious mods except some Xposed ones which are essential for me to use my phone daily.
Maybe it's because it was always difficult for me to set up everything and I had no time to test different setups... I'm that kind of lazy guy
Anyway I don't really have too much to say about your setup but you provided nice description of your apps and settings!

'Cause I was bored waiting for the next beta of MM, I decided to implement your suggestions. You're right, these make for a nice Android experience on my Z3c. I'm curious to see what effect there is on battery.

The UI works fast and that´s good, but in the other hand is too simple that doesn´t allow any customization.... too bad!
i've seen posts before
but yeah i think it does allow for customization, somewhat.. no one has even put any effort into it tho so pretty sure no one here has any clue of it's potentials.

Thanks for that.... came accross your site earler today and I'm watching with intrest especially with the Rosie ROM bit.... although I'm not 100% that Openhome etc might not be better for speed / size etc hence the intrest.
I had a quick go at it but due to my unix noobness I struggled and for the moment its on the back burner.... may be others will have more sucess.

[Concept] Echo IM

(If this is posted in the wrong section, please move to the correct section for me :-(, Sorry and Thanks!)
(& I'm aware they're talking phones! 0 )
I made this concept because I was intrigued by how I would want a IM application to look like. It's not exactly finished but it's somewhat how I'd like my IM to feel. (It might be too dark) I love designing and well this is the result!
NOTICE:- Image heavy and must require a desktop browser, and it's very DARK!

I posted this over at Phandroid, but I wanted to share this design with the XDA community, since it's more developer orientated. I design purely in my free time and haven't took any classes for designing, but rather all self taught.
I'm very much loving the GUI there, beautiful.

Haha, thanks! The UI is sleek yet I wanted to make it seem house-styled, so everything wasn't out of place. I think I'll work on more of this concept since I thought it was very fun
If anyone has any ideas, than please shoot them, I'd love feedback and more things to design.
Here's the next preview!
This was purely just to mess around with animation.

Yes. Google windriver. Something with Intel I believe. But I use the calculator and love it. I really hope android goes into this direction with some of its apps. That in my option would be great for multitasking. Kudos to the developer for discovering how to do this without root though.

These apps are really cool. Thanks for the heads up... The air calc I've put into my ADWEX dock and I can use it on any screen. Stick it definately works with YouTube...I'll have to see what else it does.
this would be nice. Maemo on my N900 already does this and ya don't know how nice it is to swap screens.

What Rom should I go for?

Planning to install a custom Rom tomorrow, I don't feel like disabling all the spyware again when the Android 10 oos update comes... Figured I'd get some advice, I'm sure some of you guys have probably tried each Rom three times at this point. I only have a couple must have requirements, finger print scanner functionality, slider functionality (even if limited or requires manual setting), and decent stability. I like roms with a lot of features, even if some of the features are gimmicky, I generally like the rom to be open source and I always like more customization options. Any suggestions are welcome, figured I'd post this tonight and hopefully there's some good suggestions by the time I wake up because I'm too lazy to try roms myself xD
Thanks for reading and thanks to anyone who replies.
(note... I'm honestly not sure if this should be in discussions or questions, but I'm just putting it here for now...)
I always run Lineage strictly for privacy guard. Its got enough customization as well to make most people happy. The privacy guard though is what keeps me on LOS.
Here is a screenshot from the privacy guard options, and what choices you have to block / allow will depend on the app. You also have the option. To allow / deny data under app options.
