Here are the few things which would be great if u could implement in your custom kernel
Fast charging
LMK optimization for better multitasking and other memory management
And some general optimization
By the way thank you

Damn, you're fast!!
RMN3Pro is already a pretty solid phone, but just a tiny bit pity when it comes to the picture and video quality.
Would love to see some CAF optimizations implemented though, I think this is the best part when it comes to Qualcomm processors in our devices.
They brought new life to some older devices like the OnePlus One in both the performance and camera department.

Superior FM recording quality, please.
It's very poor, only 32 Kbps, 22.05 Khz, Mono.
Would it be possible to increase the quality of recording?
Thanks you very much.

I think fast charging and fm radio will be the best fancy stuffs...!!!

@Sourav_8434
please add these. features
-Sweep2sleep
-D2W,S2W
-Intelli Thermal
-2-Way Call Recording Support
-Voltage Control Support
-FauxSound App Support
-fast charge support
-Frandom
-Fsync ON/OFF
etc.

Well, basic calculation says that it's not healthy at all.
3000 ma per hour * 52 / 60 = 2600 ma given to phone;
that's should end up in 65% of battery charge (in ideal world; actually should be lower);

Freq:1.9G,under voltage:-25mv for all,others keep defualt,may powersave,performance balence,if under vol:-50mv,more powersave but less performance,not tested for much time,good or not,need others' feedback.
pekaka v.1.1
Ok , installed v1.1 , IM NEWBIE on KERNEL stuffs, could you tell me if I need to change any value with kernel editor or smth? or is nice as it become ?

all like v1.0 except some tweaks, special for permissive being set to default,so no need to change it by other apk,if you don't know how to control so many settings, just do nothing, all default settings are balance among powersave+performance+stable
Slow Charging
Any one else here experiencing slow charging? My battery even drains while charging. Didn't happen on stock kernel. I'm using Dr. Ketan's l21 on this kernel.
Thanks!
So strange?take away battery and put on to try,or use different cable while charging.

Please do add support for synapse in the next version.... I experience the same problem as this guy but mine is because of the charging port and I use synapse to adjust the charging input. Tried synapse with the two previous versions didn't work. And even synapse tutorial to enable it work on lollipop to no avail. Thanks in advance.
Can't run Benchmark on latest version
Good day folks,
Ever since I installed this kernel I cant run a Antutu Benchmark to completion. My screen goes blank and I cant restart without doing a battery pull. The freeze happens after the graphic test (at the end of the ships in the water) and is totally unresponsive. I'm on the latest version with the 667 all covers option selected.
Just reporting, it may be of interest to some.
Cheers.

I used wall chargers as well as 2 different cables from my laptop. The drain while charging seems to have become less but charging rate is rather slow. Also, if it is of interest to you, can you see my other post regarding the antutu freeze.
Thanks for everything!
Battery
I seem to have a slow charge on version 1.0 any ideas why only on my 1amp charger it takes the whole night to get 75% my charger that the device came with works fine and the charger is still fine since it works on my tablet .

Antutu related with many things not only kernel, try to reinstall your rom, then flash my new kernel 2.0,should be fine,I think.

Dear @pekaka, this is a noob question, I enumerated the op, what's the difference between 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 regarding maxlock the other thing are self-explanatory, would please explain... By the way I am using kernel adiutor, do you recommend to administrate your kernel?
CM 12
does this kernel support cm 12 and what would be best for powersave 600 or 667 ?

Well it works now. Only thing my benchmark is 42275 which is 8th place. I'm on Dr. Ketan l21 and no powersave, also on 667 stock cover. Is this a normal benchmark. It ranked at around 3rd on your first kernel with a score of 44885. Is this normal?
Works with stock Lollipop?
This is the first time I'll flash a kernel, so this will be a dumb question for many of the commenters but... Will this kernel work with my stock Lollipop version? Or will it only work with a specific ROM?
Thanks!
Fast Charge?
Need to be activated? Using Kernel Auditor?

which kernel is the best...

Im new here soo i dont know which kernel is best for performamce nd battery, Green Apple, duki994, or the stock one...presently im in xtrestolite..
It all depends on your personal preferences.
Stock provides the best stability and performance with good battery life. But if you want to try, go for Boeflla Kernel.

Try stock, GreenApple v1 and Duki mms v1.9 beta kernel each for a week
Which ever you feel it's good use it
Because each has their own settings and battery life and performance will vary
So I recommend you to try all three each for a period of one week

I have not tested Duki kernel fully yet so can't give it's feedback

Screen on time

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Waiting for this. Someone pls share! Very curious how power efficient sd 675 is compared to 660
Great screen on time.
I got around 8hrs of screen on time :victory: . Don't have the screenshot at the moment though. After the recent update all the bugs are solved except the most annoying one... :crying: The earpiece cracking sound on call. Xiaomi confirmed me that they will surely going to solve the issue within a week but don't really know when they really will.

Ty all! Looks like it can average 8-10hrs on moderate/heavy usage and 10+ on light like most of its predecessors except with a noticeably way better gpu. Probably the perfect mid range soc that most users can be satisfied with
Screen on time is only 7 hour in normal use and also high ideal drain (restricted all app in background also).

improve battery life and memory management

So since there are a lot of mods available to improve battery life and memory management as well i thought it would be a good idea to have a place to talk about what fellow users are using on their daily driver to improve the most important things on pixel lol
Magisk modules scripts kernels build prop edits and you get the idea
So lets begin
for me, any custom ROM's battery life is better than stock ROM, the usual SOT is 7.5-8 hrs on average. If yours is much worse, the battery seems to be replaced.
As for the management issue, you can flash the custom kernel and expand the volume of ZRAM which is a conception of virtual.

Ok I'm again here to solve BATTERY DRAIN ISSUES in pie ROMs (personally tested)

So guys .... I'm again here to help you all out to eliminate the battery drain issue in pie roms to very much extent ? ... So we don't need much mods .....
Things we need are here....
1.Nameless kernel by LibXZR ...im sure you all know this kernel ( all credits goes to it's original dev)
2.Nfs injector mod(magisk)
3.zuklineagethermal(for better gaming experience)
4.Galacticadeepsleepmod(by Pawan Rockz) which i personally use (you'll see no drain overnight when device in idle state ?)
Procedure.......
I personally use aosip rom and currently I'm still on it ... Well you can try on other roms too ... Try and tell me... But i recommend a clean flash ....
Ok so first flash rom, gapps as usual ... Now flash attached kernel, then flash attached zuklineagethermals, then flash Galacticadeepsleep mod which i provided and at last flash magisk .... Now reboot device let it settle and flash nfs injector mod via magisk and reboot ....and yes you're done .... Battery will improve gradually atleast test until 2-3 cycles
My secret personal settings?- Use any kenel manager like kernel auditor or exkernel manager and underclock cpu little cores to 1.3 ghz and big to 1.8 ghz ... Trust me it will not decrease performance of the device and set governor- schedutil and i/o scheduler to bfq(smoothest experience) ... Even it will reduce heating issues and improve gaming time..... Now let device settle and you're done....
Now things you'll notice ..... Seamless lag free experience overall ... No gaming lag ..... Improved battery plus no or minimal device idle drain ??
Plz hit thanks if it help you and please reply about your experience in this thread .......
I willl also post sot screenshots of a full cycle use after few time ?
Note : all credits goes to creators of all these mods
Everything is attached below so don't panic...

So here you can take an idea about how well battery is going to perform... This is my totally normal day to day usage after full charge... No gaming .... already 3hrs+ sot And still 44% left so .... It's sure that I'm going to get 4.5 + sot and you can see the battery drain overnight is almost 0% ... I slept almost 7-8 hours

Thanks for your contribution..
Really looking forward to your updates on this setup..
Requesting answer:
1. Screen shot after ROM settle 3-5 days..
2. Do you use Jio all time?
3. What is onscreen battery drain outside?
4. Phone warm while normal usage?
5. Accubattery screen shot after a week usage if you use.
6. How old is your phone now?
PS. As you are on aosip with nameless
1. Is there signal bar fluctuations?
2. Spectrum support present on nameless?
3. Custom font present?
Recommended: gapps or mindthegapps?

Bro .... Actually the default performance of nameless is a bit limited so you will notice lags here and there and mainly in gaming .... So the biggest reason to flash nfs is to eliminate the overall lag and get seamless performance and without compromising battery drain and it works 100 % that's why nfs is must recommend by me ... Otherwise you can check for yourself with nfs flashed and without nfs .... You'll see huge difference .... It's recommended strongly
