you can install it using twrp in that...first attempt will give u error..so again try and enable signature verification...

Use phillz recovery by jav team. It will install miui ROMs without any problem...use twrp for installing custom roms

Currently i m on miui lollipop bootloader using rom miui 7 lollipop (7.5.3.0 stable redmi 2 prime 2014818)
Now i want to flash cm 13 official nightly
Whether i have to revert back to kitkat bootloader? Or to flash cm directly on lollipop bootloader

U can flash directly from lolypop bootloader.Always remember to take backup if something goes wrong.
You don't have to Revert , CM 13 now for quite sometime is Compatible with Lollipop as Well as KitKat Bootloader

Hi!
I would suggest booting in to recovery and running the recovery option to download to back to stock rom (This may or may not delete your data so always back up!). However first check from firmware finder if EMUI 9 roms have been released to your specific version so you're sure your model has EMUI 9 available now. If so once you're in the stock rom it should update you to EMUI 9 and you can continue flashing Openkirins EMUI 9 roms. Please be aware Openkirins suggested Magisk installation does not work on EMUI 9. However there is another way to flash magisk to EMUI 9 roms.

Usually, the (official) MIUI Fastboot/TGZ ROMs flash more 'deeply' than their Recovery/ROMs
Maybe you could achieve by flashing recovery/zip ROM plus a firmware (but not sure if MIUI firmwares come as recovery/ZIP installations)
When you are already going to do that, you could look on Xiaomi.eu for the latest stable MIUI 11 ROM for davinci (it's like a debloated official MIUI)
Xiaomi.eu ROM would either be for flashing directly by Fastboot (bat script, not for MiFlash) or even the recovery type for TWRP. Their ROMs (even when recovery types) are usually self-sufficient, hence usable for downgrading, un-bricking in some cases, etc
