Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 830F factory reset error - Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I'm facing with a Lenovo issue. I wanted to update with OTA system, but the System throw an error when applying patch. So I decided to factory reset my tablet.
Now I'm on language and GMT selection screen, and when I want to go to the next step, I go back to the first screen..
I tried to reset again by recovery, but nothing..
I didn't find a stock rom to install, even kitkat or lollipop.
Could you help me please ? I'm out of ideas..
Now I'm with Android 5.0

[Q] Note 4 - Encryption Brick?

Hello,
I may have bricked my phone but I'm open to suggestions of possible solutions.
I upgraded to lollipop and everything was working great, I decided to try out the encryption functionality and now it doesn't boot...
It gives me an error screen saying that encryption failed, perform a factory reset. I have done so and it still won't turn on...
Since I have done a ADB push rom.zip to it and that didn't work.
Tried both TWRP and CWM to factory reset...
Do you guys have any other ideas?
Thanks
Anthony
Solved
I did end up finding a solution, thought it would be nice to share just in case someone else has the same problem.
Flashing to CM12 actually worked and got me through but I wasn't happy being limited to CM12 because when I flashed back to the rom it had the same issue.
I flashed to a standard rom from Samsung and used it's factory recovery menu to do the reset and that worked

Note 4 Update Dilemma

Hey guys,
New here, obviously.
My note 4 is currently running 4.4.4, around 2 weeks ago, my friend accidentally hit update on my phone while he was using it, instead of "do not remind me" which I always pressed, cos I never wanted to update to lollipop. Now, the update has been downloaded and the notification to install the update cannot be removed (application settings are greyed out).
Have tried the method of clearing cache in recovery mode, but to no avail.
So my options now are to either install the damned update, in which case I'm wondering if it's still really problematic and irritating.
Or I can factory reset the phone and (hope) the update file will be removed and I can just disable the update stuff.
Thanks for any help in advanced.
i think factory resetting will fix this and then you can disable the update stuff. Don't worry you can always flash stock 4.4.4 firmware even if you update. (unless you update to coj5 build of 5.1.1 which makes downgrading impossible)

Galaxy Note 3 Bootloop

Good morning,
I'm stuck with a big problem on my Note 3 HLTE.
Here's the story : I was previously on the PAC Rom 5.1 and I wanted to change to get the CM13.0 that was just released. So I've performed the full wipe (dalvik, cache and factory reset) and then when I wanted to update the OS, it didn't work. I ended up with a phone in recovery, telling me that there was no OS installed on it.
after several attempts, I then tried to revert back to a stock ROM based on 4.4.2 with Odin. The installation went on without any problems, I was able to get through the first install with my Gmail account and then the phone rebooted, and that's where I got the bootloop curse.
what I did then, was to redo an install via Odin with my carrier stock rom, and I got a FAIL message. So, I retried an install with Odin by adding a PIT file and another ROM still based on 4.4.2. the install worked, as I was able to set up my Gmail account and so on. At this stage, I wasn't able able to get any signal for calls, 4G . In parameters, the baseband was identified as "Unknown". Then, the phone rebooted again, and I got the bootloop curse again...
My last attempt has been to install my carrier stock ROM after performing a full wipe, with ODIN. The install was successful and I got the phone rebooted to stuck on bootloop.
So, here's where I am, and I would like to solve this problem, please. What I think is that, due to the fact that I was on Lollipop, the bootloop might be due to the downgrade attempt to KK. So if there's any way to solve this problem, I'm eager to take it.
Thank you !
Hey Guys,
I've been able to resolve my bootloop problem.
I've installed TWRP with Odin, made a full wipe including data (I've saved them before), and I installed the CM12.1 by Temasek, and way to go, the phone is running fine ^^
Now, I'm just stuck with the lost IMEI thing and baseband. SO my question now is : if I want to install my operator stock ROM for getting back, should I just choose the Lollipop ROM, or can I take the KK one without getting stuck in bootloop again ?
Thank you !

Need help reverting back to Android Marshmallow from Android N Preview

Hello, I previously had my 6P on Marshamallow 6.0.1 with systemless root. When the Android N previews came about I manually flashed it using the method in this thread here (9. How To Update To A New Build Of The Stock ROM). However, I decided to revert because some apps don't work well in N. But when I used the same exact method with the 6.0.1 images my phone gets stuck at the login screen, flashes the message "the process android.process.acore has stopped" when I open the camera, and bootloops. Any help please?

I'm definitely thinking about doing a factory reset but it's a last resort. In the meantime is there anything else I can do?
Edit: LOL I think I accidentally factory reset it anyway. I'll let you know if it works!

Android 10 update hanged in locked phone. Recovery pattern locked.

Hello, everyone.
Hope you are having a good day with your OnePlus 5 phones. I recently tried the OTA update for Android 10 on my OnePlus 5. But the update hanged, and I had to force restart. Now, the phone doesn't go beyond the logo. I tried to start in recovery but it asks for pattern and doesn't recognize the existing one.
Is it possible to resolve this? I have lot of data on the phone. It seems that factory reset will delete data, but is it possible to recover the same?
Please guide me out of this issue.
Thanks.
