Restored backup via TWRP 3.0 (Backup was for 2.8)

You live in India? I know a person in pune who repairs hardbricked devices specifically using USB JTAG method.

Hi, open ur phone again and check the display connector, try fully disconnecting it and reconnecting it and check if all other connectors in range are also properly connected. Then reassemble ur phone.
Next time, do not open your phone unless you really have to. I don't see why you have opened to reset it. You can press power for very long then after maybe 30 seconds or so, your phone will fully turn off. No need to open it for that.
Next time if you have a question, use the Q&A section, not this one. You'll get answers quicker there too.
Bricked or screen is broken
Without disassembling I was not able to detect my phone, after pin reseting phone was identified in windows. No recovery boot was working too... This is reason why I disassembled phone...
But thank you for reply..

Bricked my A1 - help !!!!

No fast boot , no recovery , no edl
when i connect it with charger or with pc i got vibration with blinking of LED notification but the screen never turn on
when i connect it to PC . it show no thing

You have to put the device to qualcomm download mode. You need to tear down usb cable and connect green and black wire then connect the cable to pc and to the phone which should be turned off (hold power button for 20 seconds) and keep connected for 10 seconds and then disconnect green and black wire. Now look under device manager and find under ports qualcomm 9008 com xy. Now you can flash original Mi A1 ROM through Mi flash tool. Rom has to be extracted to C:

i used usb 2
man my phone is fully dead boot
can not enter EDL mod or qualcom download mod
i tried make deep flash cable , it did not work
when i connect any usb to my mobile , even the charger i got my device vibrated every 2 second
i have to force it to EDL mod without using any cable
i have a question : i rooted the phone , so when i send it to warranty center would they know that i rooted my phone ?
what should i tell them ?
I think the service cannot detect that your phone is rooted because they cant turn it on. If they flash it from scratch the root will be gone.
Bro your phone opening case and Google search testpoint

There is another way directly on Miforum app. Basically you need to open back housing and short 2 cantacs. More you can read at Miforum when you search for Unbrick MI A1
Nice story, important lesson, note to self:
"Google more" (so you don't have to pay the service center so they do it for you and charge you a lot of moneyz)

I think I bricked my phone

I got stuck in TWRP bootloop so was using the MSM tool and I didn't think it was reading my phone because it said waiting for device for maybe 5 seconds. I decide to stop it and check the connection but a split second before I clicked stop it started to run. I didn't think it was a big deal so I started the process but it returned an error. So I disconnected the phone from my PC and reconnected but now my PC doesn't recognize my phone. It shows it in device manager but says "Unknown USB Device(Device Descriptor Request Failed)". Did I hard brick my phone or is there a solution?
Also, the phone does nothing now. Won't turn on at all.
Can't you reboot on fastboot mode in twrp?

No. It won't do anything :/
When I plugged it into my PC it doesn't know what it is. I tried reinstalling the drive but that doesn't work.

OH wow! It just worked. I tried before but guess I didn't hold it long enough. Just saw your reply and decided to try again but this time held it for like 20 seconds and it came on. It's in TWRP now. Maybe now that it booted up to TWRP if I cut it off it might run the MSM tool. Although it would be great to get my Havoc backup restored.
Fixed.
I'm an idiot who didn't hold the buttons long enough. Getting it to boot to TWRP by using volume+ and power (held for over 20 seconds) I turned the phone back off and ran the MSM tool.

Ha, I just did the same thing a few days ago!
Glad you got yours going again!
I'm using a Redmi 9c I tried to unlock it but failed in the process. Later I get absolutely no response from the phone, I cant open fast boot or recovery. I tried connecting it to the pc but it shows the same exact problem you are facing. I tried all USB ports and switched cables back and forth but no success. I tried pressing volume up, down and all sorts of combinations, still no success. Any fix for this?

Has anyone succeeded in repairing a bricked Poco M3?

My M3 was working perfectly. I put it to restart and then it didn't turn on anymore. It is now only recognized as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" on Windows. I opened the phone and with some magical combination (remove/connect flat cables from the battery and display, connect the USB cable, press volume keys and short the test points) it started in fastboot. So I was able to flash the "fastboot ROM". Unfortunately, on the next boot it still does not turn on normally. Has anyone succeeded in repairing the Poco M3? In Mi Flash is requested an authenticated account to flash through it, is it worth paying someone to provide the account? Does anyone have the contact of someone who makes cheap? Any help is welcome, thank you!

sorry, there's is no tutorial for this and it has a quite process. you just need to throttle the proc temperature of your phone board using hot blower or any device you have. while your phone is in high temp. both pin board and battery is in unplug hold vol down then put back the board pin and battery pin at the same time. it will vibrate and fastboot will be fine.
Guys this is my procedure to turn on the phone:
I can make it turn on Android after messing with the battery and sub-board cables but this is just a workahound, trying to turn it on normally through the power button always makes it turn on in edl mode
But opening the device voids the warranty, so anyone who has access to a repair center is better off asking for the warranty
What to do:
1. Disconnect the battery cable and the secondary board cable.
2. Connect charger.
3. Hold the power button.
4. Connect the secondary board cable and quickly connect the battery cable.
5. Release the power button when the device vibrates.
It doesn't always work the first time, you may need several tries to get it

Redmi 9T can't boot, only shows battery charging screen. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

So earlier, I unlocked my Redmi 9T phone using the Xiaomi Official Tool, then flashed TWRP using XiaoMiTool V2, I opened cmd and entered fastboot reboot recovery, it's still in fastboot mode, I tried Power button + volume buttons and still stuck on fastboot and before it boots into fastboot again, it shows a charging battery icon. I plugged in my phone to my pc and selected "My phone is bricked" in XiaoMiTool V2 and waited for 1 hour to finish the download, it tries to install but when it gave me an error, I closed it and tried to reboot my phone, NOW IT'S SHOWING A CHARGING BATTERY ICON AND CAN'T DO ANYTHING! I keep turning on my phone but it only shows the battery and turns itself off quick. PC/ADB can't detect any, can't boot into fastboot, can't boot into system, can't boot into recovery. Please help me, I'm gonna get in BIG trouble. Please help me... Thanks!

You have missed the subforum:
This is here for Mi 9T /Redmi K20
You are asking about Redmi 9T
That's totally different name, phone model, hardware, Android version.
After all, your phone model is about two years newer than our Mi 9T here
Specially you made a big mistake if you maybe downloaded and flashed the TWRP for Mi 9T/Redmi K20 to your Redmi 9T, and bricked your phone
One needs to be careful about the phone models!!!

Generally, you should be able to fix by flashing the stock firmware via MiFlash again
But if you also locked your Bootloader by using the MiFlash last time, you will not be able to flash anything and you will need to seek around for the paid EDL support
Better ask on the XDA (sub)forum for your Redmi 9T:
Redmi 9 Power / 9T
The Redmi 9 Power is a 6.53" phone with a 1080x2340p resolution display. The Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 65/128GB of storage. The main camera is 48+8+2+2MP and the selfie camera is 8MP. The battery has a 6000mAh capacity.

But you can ask in the right XDA subforum for your phone - where somebody familiar with your device could help you, or you cannot (or you don't want)?!
If you hard bricked your phone then you will need to find somebody to help you with the paid EDL account - usually they cannot advertise on XDA since advertising the paid support is forbidden. You should seek around on TG channels and so
That was the last my answer for you. Cannot help you better for your different phone. Good luck
