Someone ban v4victory

He is obviously mentally challenged and just filling the board up with his drivel.
Get rid of him.

Either ban him, or what also would probably work is that we just ignore him. Hopefully he will get bored and annoy someone else.

I would seriously hope that the fact that all 6 of the people who agreed with the original poster are British is a coincidence, and think its a bit sad that someone would assume that this is a "coordinated counter attack" just because we take offence at the way v4victory has posted such rubbish. I don't get why you would think that we were being racist? If anything my assumption was that the guy WAS British (or is that being racist?!). Anyway, the best way is probably to ignore idiots like him as someone has already said, I just couldn't resist agreeing with other people who don't like to see racist comments on this excellent forum.

These guys are just expressing their opinions (they all just happen to have a Brittish service provider, and/or be Brittish). I am from Argentina (currently living in the States), and I feel exactly the same way about v4victory than any of these guys. Plus, if you look at the forums that feature this guy, people are from all over the place and they are all against him.

Just a tidbit of interest here concerning the koolaid that Sprint employees are trying to push. The Sprint employee "mykey" on Sprints Community Forums has all but called the knowledgable and hard working devs here liars concerning the CDMA kernal. Being an employee means nothing when it comes to information. I myself am a sprint employee. Sadly many of our customers have more information than what we are privvied. We are usually made aware of upcoming changes about 1 to 2 weeks before they actually go into effect, and most of which has already been leaked or confirmed online prior to it ever hitting us.

I will be the first to admit that I had some reservations about following advice on this forum. However when I had a problem with my hero (see this thread) I spent an hour on the phone with sprints "advanced tech support" and they couldnt figure it out. I put the thread up and 40 minutes later the first post that replied nailed the problem right off the bat.
I learned my lesson, post here first and then if no one here can help, might as well get a new phone.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I work with everything now, not just phones. I'm tired of speaking to (no offense)people in countries such as India that I can barely understand, and to top off the matter, don't really no what I'm talking about.

As an employee, I can honestly say, even during some of my calls, I refer to this forum for answers. xda for android and ppcgeeks for winmo is pretty much biblical when it comes for hard facts, knowledge, and know how. I just had to say that. I don't post much, but I've been able to a lot of tough questions based on the answers found here.

I can't stand Sprint's forums. They are about as fair and balanced as Fox news.

You are forgetting all SE system apps that legally bound to be protected for the developers, including the CAMERA. SE also has a legal responsibility to protect Apple's patent on Multitouch, which I know there is still argument if it is a hardware issue or a bootloader issue. Nonetheless SE still has a legal responsibility to enforce its agreements with partners made before the device ever hit the market. Period.

No harm in that as long as you take ownership of the mistakes(which you have). You're in Singapore, what do you care? I think this patent war could indeed become a problem if something like this happens. Obviously, people will be screwed, because they will be left with a choice between lousy and expensive iPhones(new one every year, yay!), honestly *crappy* Blackberries, and what... Symbian?.. Get out of here!! While I'm guessing this will be resolved by a few million greenies going from the bank account of company A to the bank account of company B, I dare not predict what would happen, if a judge actually rules for Apple's plea.. That would cause some serious sh*tstorm on the market, and towards that judge, and also in my opinion, it's a clear attempt at unfair competition from Apple.
