Android Wear watch will not connect - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answer

I have the LG urbane and no matter what I try it will not connect to my S7 Edge. I have factory reset the watch already. Twice. It pairs but will not connect. Anyone else with a smart watch have this issue? Hopefully it's just user error

I have an LG Watch Urbane as well and mine connected fine. Factory reset it, matched the pin number, paired, and haven't had any hiccups since.

Hmmmm. I did factory reset, matched the pin, paired, updated, synced...but it still doesn't connect when it's all said and done lol gives me the little cloud with the line through it. Oh well I'll just keep trying I guess

As a last resort, I would factory reset your phone and try then. You'll lose all yours apps/data but it might finally get it to pair.

I just connected my LG Urbane with no issues as well. Sorry you are having issues. You got me worried since I hadn't connected mine yet.

Lol damn...I may have to factory reset. I may just wait until root is available. Thanks for the replies guys

I had problems connecting my Huawei Watch. It connected, started transfer and lost connection after transferring like 5 apps. I turned off the screen timeout on my phone and told the battery optimizer not to optimize the Android Wear app. I also, wiped data and cache for Wear app, took me 4 times or so to finally get everything connected, seems okay now

bluetooth version of the W100 smartwatch is only 4.0, where as the bluetooth version of the Samsung S7 or S8 is 5. So never ever will work. As per my live chat with LG customer support.

watch wont pair
Have galaxy S8 just got the coach bleecker and Titan juxt, both use basically the same app. watches will pair with app on phone but not connect. tried on Galaxy S6, worked fine. Anybody else have problem with pairing a watch with S8?

Android TV Remote Control Can't Connect

Need some advice please...been trying to connect my LG G4 to my Nexus Player via the AndroidTV Remote app and haven't had any success.
I've tried connecting via WiFi and BT but neither work. I can see the device, but upon attempting to Connect via WiFi the screen pauses like it's trying to start a connection, but flickers back to the device list.
Trying via BT pairing I can connect my phone but the App won't launch (even with phone WiFi turned off).
Any suggestions here? The only thing I haven't tried doing is taking my old Logitech Revue off the network to see if there's perhaps some interference with the AndroidTV connector.
Doesn't look like anyone has experienced this issue, on the forums -- would definitely appreciate help as the Nexus Player on-screen keyboard is terribly slow!
Thanks.
Bump!
Same issue here with my Nexus 6p and Nexus player....
Please help!

Same glitch here. Changed batteries but no luck. Was on beta, then reverted back to stock N. But still same problem.

Yeah don't think I ever solved this one. Moved on to a Nvidia Shield TV, the Android TV remote app works reliably. Good luck!

Moto Z Force with Samsung Gear 2 Neo?

Got my new Moto Z Force yesterday and loving it so far except for a few little quirks... The biggest of which is that it will not connect to my Samsung Gear 2 Neo. I can get it to connect via Bluetooth, but when trying to connect it using Gear Manager the app just doesn't see it (even when already connected via BT). I have heard that some people have gotten this to work, but for 2 days have been unable to find a fix. I've gone so far as to start downloading older versions of the Samsung Gear app and try them one by one. I was able to get the 2.1.5 versions to see it, but when they tried connecting I got "Download failed, try again".
Has anyone had any success with this, or seen the problem and found a fix? I would really hate to have to give up my Gear, I've grown to love it.
Thanks in advance.

LG V20 and Miracast problems

I can't get my LG V20 to connect to any of my Miracast enabled devices. I have a LG WebOS TV and a LG PH150G Projector and can't get either one to connect. On the Projector, the phone will find it just fine, but when it connects the projector will get stick at Signal Detection. On the LG WebOS TV it will just get stuck on connecting. Any solutions?
SOLVED for me at least! It is a conflict with the App 'AllCast' by clockworkMod. Once I uninstalled the app Miracast works!
I had the same problem trying to get the V20 to connect to a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. Suggestions would be appreciated!
That's odd. I have a 4k tv with chromecast integrated and also have an ezcast 4k dongle and both of them allow me to use DLNA and also screen mirroring. Currently using Weta Rom.

I think I can solve this one for u. Go into wifi settings and forget your home network(s). Restart phone. Now try to connect to dongle by selecting screen sharing from settings. Let me know. It always works for me

Tried your suggestions, but they didn't work. I am using the Tmobile variant of this device with the Dec. patch update.

I had trouble with miracast too a few months back. Gave up and just used smart share to watch my movies on my phone. I could look into it again and see if I can figure it out.
Edit.. Just hooked up fine first try. Mines not a webos but it is an lg 3d smart tv.

What version of the phone do you have (Carrier)? I have tried to connect to 4 different TV's and Miracast devices without success.
I just tried using Miracast in 'Safe Mode' and it almost works, The status bar changes to blue, and my projector now gets to starting stream, but eventually disconnects.

T-Mobile. I'm on a custom rom but don't thik that is the issue. Have you factory reset your phone yet? I know no one likes doing that, but might solve your issue. It's definitely the phone though and not your other devices. I know the first time I connect it makes me enter in a code from the tv, but after that it remembers the connection. Try going into your tv menu and see if you can connect from the tv to phone side as opposed to phone to tv.. Should have a menu option for it on all your lg devices that are miracast equipped.
Ok never mind saw you fixed it.

Gear vr won't connect

hi everyone
I'm facing an issue with my newly purchased gear vr.
I'm trying to connect it for the first time and my galaxy s8 won't recognize the device. I tried downloading all apps manually but didn't seem to work and also resetting won't work.
I also am facing the same problem when connecting USB port via otg it won't recognize by my phone.
I'm thinking that this is a software issue.
Am I the only one with this problem?
It seems to be a really common problem. Some people have had success returning their phone but the issue often comes back. It does seem to be a software issue as I have had it start again then stop again. I think it's related to updates but I'm not 100% sure what ones. Reinstalling and factory resetting don't work. Oculus claim that phones that aren't locked to a network aren't supported by VR. Samsung aren't interested either.

Trouble with CarPlay Dongle on Android Head Unit

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my android head unit (Android 9, Quad-Core, 2GB RAM, MTCE_GS_V3.30_1) Hal9k mod installed.
I used a Carlinkit CPC200-Autokit PRO wireless Carplay dongle without any problems. One day my iPhone X suddenly stopped connecting to the dongle with the message: Unsupported accessory. I contacted the reseller, but he told me that everything should work fine and there cant be any problem. Then I contacted Carlinkit, they told me the same.
I was really confused about that so I tried to update the dongle with a USB stick result: The dongle is detected by AutoKit app, AutoKit shows: "connecting" the green wheel spinns and the app crashes
So if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know :fingers-crossed:.
But there is a second problem... I bought a new Carplay Dongle Model CPC200-Auto-CA. The problem with this dongle is, its using the AutoPlayBox APK. If you plug in the dongle, the blue LED lights up for a few seconds and thats basicly all. The AutoPlayBox app does not detect the dongle, it only shows: please insert Box into USB port. If you plug in an iPhone it starts charging but in the AutoPlayBox app nothing happens. The pheriphals check in AutoPlayBox app shows that everything is fine, mic, usb etc. everything is detected.
I know this all may sound a bit strange but I hope somebody sends me help. I'm an absolutely beginner in this stuff. If you have any questions please let me know.
Thanks for your help, greetings from germany!
@techjulius
Could it be possible that the sudden stop could be related to any IOS update?
What could help:
Make a factory reset at the head unit and try again. If that does not help... no clue.
The CPC200 needs to get an activated USB-Debugging in developer options. Did you try that?

Thanks for your reply.
There was an iOS and dongle update few days before, after updating everything worked quite well until day X.
I've tried 2 factory resets, but nothing changed. USB-Debugging was enabled all the time.

Then someone else needs to jump in, because my skills about IOS and CarPlay are not that good to give further hints.
I had this happen to me the other day. A reboot on my iPhone fixed the connection issue.
Side note I'm on iOS 14
Super late, but i have the same issue and i can't find a solution anywhere. Did u end up fixing it?
