Hi all, I have a small question, hope you will help me. I have a Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, with Mediatek MT6753 processor. Now I have search for identical devices and found that Wiko Fever has the same SoC and for that device TWRP is available. So my question is, can I flash TWRP for that device in my k4 note or I have to make certain changes before flashing?

Have you tried fastboot oem unlock?
I tried once, then in recovery it says are you sure you want to....
I selected "Yes" but it stuck there. I force restart the device.

Tried few times but all failed, it says unlocking not allowed.

I think lenovo is following motorola policy, where we have to request for an bootloader unlock key.
Did you try unlocking bootloader after enabling oem unlock in developer options??

Looks like we have to wait.... Development on this device is very much needed. I think lenovo has already released the sources.

I rooted it via kingroot, now the 33 mb update is showing an error installed failed. I unrooted the device after that. Nothing helped. I have even undo all the changes I made after root but no help yet. Any suggestions?

go to google and search for custom recovery for lenovo vibe k4 note
there is video in the video section in russian or some other language which got the links for twrp recovery for k4 note and
codes to unlock bootloader
follow that and ull get custom recovery on your lenovo k4 note

You can try to boot into TWRP (not flash) with that file. But I doubt it will be successful unless we make some modification. I remember in my ASUS ZENFONE 4.5 some Indonesian developer made an CWM recovery that you can boot even with a locked bootloader. But that was intel processor, and this is Mediatek so the possibilities may vary.
I'm now searching for the fastboot command to boot

What do you did exactly? Were you trying to flash a new Rom?
Maybe the only way to recover the device is to go to Download mode and flash a stock Rom through Odin... You'll lost root, but you'll have a tablet.
I have the t235 model, which we aren't able to root...but I have a working thing

I have actually fixed it. I'm happy that it is still alive and I didn't kill the motherboard
Yea I tried Odin but it didn't help so I had an SD card and put a stock ROM and flashed it with team win recovery and it worked. Thanks for the advice tho ??i was also able to root by flashing SuperSU update v x.xx.xx

after watching a video on YouTube i did whatsoever dictate there
go to SuperSU> Setting > Clean Up> full unroot.
after doing that i reset my phone then after i tried to get official update but unfortunately i got same message that your device is modified unauthorized way. go to service center.
what i supposed to do now i am exhausted :'( no proper help i got while there are lots of experts exists. disappointed

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my mate9, I did the rebrand from MHA-AL00C00 to MHA-L29C432 using this forum's guide successfully, after two hours of use the phone has been restarted, blocking on the huawei logo, i Immediately tried to restart in recovery but continues to lock on the logo, the phone only goes in fastboot mode, i tried to flash the twrp, the process is successful but if i restart in recovery i hang on the logo i tried it via adb and Fastboot to flash recovery recovery2 boot system but keeps stuck on the logo, meanwhile the battery does not recharge, suggestions?
Have you tried the 3 button download method with the C636 offline download to restore your phone. You can then use the other rebrand method to rebrand to any other version you want. You will have to flash stock recovery first before doing this

yes try method 2 whit different fw but phone only start in fastboot mode

Can't revert to AL00 because not boot in twrp and can't change regional file
