I recently install CM12.1 on my K3 note
To use wifi in my device
I converter my wired Internet connection of PC to Hotspot with a wifi adapter and software is "Connectify"
after installing CM12.1 when ever i Switch On my wifi in device and its connects to PC, then Connectify shows my device as a new device everytime,
and identity of device also lost which was used to be Lenovo Manufactures etc.. when it is not rooted...
Please help me to solve that​

I have unvirsal JasJar and since I bought this PC everytime I'm trying to connect it to the computer to do synchronization the windows gives me
" windows can't recognized the USB device " I tried so many thing to solve it
like turn of the firewall , and anti viurse .. disconnect and reconnect the Pc and the computer . Please help me to solve this issue
P.S : the windows Xp tells me that there is no driver for the USB device
Sounds like a computer software problem. Have you attempted to update the driver(s)?
Try using some other USB port.
trythis: on your PPC go to settings>connections>USB to PC> disable the advanced network functionality.

Trouble with my S5 SM-G900H!
I have a fresh install of Windows7 SP1 64bit. After connecting the phone cord (factory, MicroUSB 2) relatives in Device Manager appear strange device: "Conmeon Suspend", "CDC ACP", "CDC NCM". Set Kies3 through it put the Samsung USB-drivers. None of these devices is not defined.
After you connect to a computer on the phone is turned on and charging no more signs of connection to a computer is not.
In the "Tethering and Mobile hotspot", even when the cable is connected, item "USB tethering is hidden," written under it "No USB device connected."
Connecting to Windows7 32bit gives the same result.
After connecting to a computer with Linux on lsusb shows the device "Conmeon" and nothing else in the system appears.
Made a hard reset to factory settings - does not help.
How to revive the USB-connection?
Did you installed latest Samsung USB device driver??

I am a newbie just trying to run Kali on Note 3 sm-N9005, I managed to root the device and install a custom kernel Thanks to XDA, but now I am stuck at the Internal WIFI adapter of Note 3 not working, I know that presently Kali is running as a VM but heres the interesting part !!
When I installed WICD on kali it detects the WIFI networks, also I can toggle the Wifi option of my phone on/off using WICD..
But I am still not able to use airmon-ng to run mon0.
What I am assuming is that WICD has some wifi Driver inbuilt that has bound the wifi card of my Note 3 but it is not able to share this driver with the rest of the apps.
Please correct me if I am wrong, and please help me in this regard...
My Idea is to somehow extract the wifi drivers from WICD and install them separately. Is it possible ???
hello guys, i have a problem with my rom 1. After restart it take long time for the tab to load properly like no service, wifi take long time to connect, setting not responding and other apps too but after 30 mins the tab work fine. 2. It cannot detect the sd card. 3. My laptop cannot detect the tab it can only charge and i cannot see my device name on my laptop but when i try different device with same usb it can detect it. So what should i do now ? is it because i install adamas kernel on my tab or what ? please help me i can give more detail about the device thanks.
I have two issues with my MetroPCS LG K20 Plus and my Windows 10 computer.
The phone has debugging mode enabled, but is not rooted.
(1) I cannot see any Android files on Windows File Explorer via USB. The device shows up, but no folders. I also do not seem able to use any Android-to/from-PC apps that communicate across the USB cable.
(2) I am struggling to find a portable way to cast my phone screens to a Windows 10 PC. I have tried Bluetooth, but the related Android Settings options appear to be missing. I can pair to the PC successfully. The PC shows the Bluetooth connection as "Connected", but the phone shows "Connecting" for a while, and is then unconnected.
Can you suggest ways to enable this functionality?
I cannot install PC software to do it because I might be in an environment where I do not have access to the WiFi network, or am unable to install software or browser extensions or drivers on the PC. I cannot use WiFi for file access for the same reason. Cloud access from a public PC is a security risk.
It seems that LG (or perhaps MetroPCS) is deliberately trying to thwart casting and USB file access, and I cannot think of why they would do that.
I also have an issue with connecting this phone through usb. Windows 10. Says device can not be reconized. May have wrong lg usb driver version not sure. Needd it to read so that i can unlock the bootloader.
