G1 Android 1.5 Bluetooth Problems

So bluetooth was all updated/improved in Android 1.5 and I've loved being able to use bluetooth stereo for listening to music.
However, I'm having real problems using my headset as a hands-free kit now - I don't get any sound through the speaker, if I switch from bluetooth to the handset the speaker handset doesn't work either.
I have to then reboot phone to get speaker on handset working again. I have not been able to make a call using the headset.
I've tried two different headsets I have with the same results.
Any ideas?
Thanks
did you update the radio? i have same problem. I did a search today and thats all i've been able to find. I can't test it till later but i updated my radio. i got the file from dudeoflife's post in the development subforum. good luck
I just applied the UK update.zip that was posted on another thread on this forum.
Any luck getting bluetooth working in calls?
I applied the update from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=512325&page=2
Not sure if it includes the radio update - anyone know where I can get this (phone was stock, unrooted, RC9 before applying update)
I'm having the exact same problem Have tried calling T-Mobile in the UK to see if they have a solution. They suggested a factory reset, but it didn't solve the problem.
Check your baseband version - what does it say?
My baseband version is: 62.33.20.08U_1.22.12.29
The latest is apparently: 62.50S.20.17U_2.22.19.26I
No matter what I do I can't seem to update the radio to a more recent version

I have the latest - 62.50S.20.17U_2.22.19.26I ... If you're hoping that will fix the problem, it looks like you're in for a disappointment.
Bluetooth headset not working
My bluetooth headsets were not working with 1.5. I updated to radio 1.5, and now they are working. I downloaded the radio image here http://www.htc.com/www/support/android/adp.html

Not sure if it is what you're looking for (the version is off by one character - H vs U), but I was able to update to 62.50S.20.17H_2.22.19.26I using the file referenced in This Post

[Q] FM radio: Missing regional option!

Hi folks...
I hope you can help me with my question about the inbuilt SGS FM radio. My problem is that some users report that they can switch their region setting to other than "Europe" or "US", namely: "Japan". I can't seem to get this done.
I have the German unbranded SGS phone with the original Froyo ROM issued from Samsung (GT-I9000, Firmware 2.2, base band I9000XXJPP, kernel 2.6.32.9 [email protected] #1, build FROYO.XXJPO).
It seems that my German version does not offer the option to switch to the Japanese region but the Australian version does...
I tried using the Australian FM radio APK from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842813), installed it via temporary root into the system/apps folder (replacing the old APK), but the only result is that my FM radio is now in English. There is still no option "Japan" in the region settings - although there should be.
Where other than in the APK is this option stored? Or do I simply have to get the Froyo FM radio APK from the Australian ROM? Help!
(Can anyone provide the Australian Froyo APK so that I can try whether that solves the problem?)
Best regards,
ask_richy
Yeah, it seems for early froyo releases just changing the apk worked. The latest Australian roms don't include the Japan option either.
I was poking around the jpx source the other day and it looks like support might actually be in the fm radio drivers.
Not really sure though and I'm away for another week before I can look into it again.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I would look forward to hearing from you again on this matter...
As I am not too good a android/linux guy, I am really stuck here.
in addition:
I just had the chance to try the FMRadio.apk from I9000DTJG4 (Australia), the newest original Australian Froyo firmware.
Although using this APK, my FM radio goes back to the native language (German) and does not show "Japan" as a regional option.
I guess all the regional settings must have definitely been moved out of the APK to somewhere else (drivers?).

I have found alot of specs regarding to the F320S/L and many say That it has but also many say it doesn't have it But as far as I know the Korean variants so with removable battery/Microsd slot support doesn't have Analog Radio(Fm Radio) only an T-DMB. If you wanted to listen to FM radio just what I also like then the only way is sadly to buy another device like an Mp3 with an buildin FM radio. I get your pain:crying:
My trustable source for phones which aren't on gsmarena:http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=5190&c=lg_f320l_g2_lte-a
The only LG variants with FM Radio are the D802 and the Sprint version (model # eludes me at the moment).

Need help with PIONEER head unit

Hey all,
I'm on a long search for someone who could help me , yet I don't have any places left to look so I'm giving it a go here.
It's about a PIONEER AVIC F980 DAB(European) radio, I'd like to modify the firmware and/or create custom ROMS for it. I've searched all of AVIC411.com and used up all of my GoogleFu energie without any result ...
The forum at AVIC411 is pretty dead and my questions there remain unanswerd.
My question now is ; could anyone help me out in some way ?
Even if it's just pointing me in the right direction ( maybe there's an alternate name in the US for the same radio ; wich i've tried to find but no luck.) Or maybe someone could point me in the right direction in how to adjust the original firmware thats found on pioneer's website.
so here are the specs once more :
Radio : PIONEER AVIC F980 DAB (EU [software version 1.08 (2018 version) ])
Car itself : Hyundai I30 1.4 - 2015
PS : Development mode has been enabled on the radio and I should be able to get an ADB shell trough USB or ETHERNET.
I know it's a long shot, but maybe someone has knowledge about anything mentioned here;
Thanks in advance !
Lex
